This place is sensational. Francesco is a gentleman. Ever so helpful and knowledgeable and happy to give guidance. Sent me to places I never heard of but was glad I went as they were spectacular The accommodation is possibly one of the best I ever stayed in. Like an hotel. So clean and fresh and modern. It is right beside the station which is also great. Never far to travel. I couldn't recommend this place more highly

I absolutely loved my stay at 5 terre backpackers in La Spezia. Francisco was an absolute gem and you can tell he loves what he does. The location is so close to the main train station and I actually got to take advantage of the breakfast provided which was perfect. I'm glad I chose to stay in La Spezia over any of the villages in Cinque Terre due to the convenience and saved me the hassle of bringing my luggage up all the crazy stairs in the villages. Would totally stay here again and would recommend to others.

The bed was spacious, the cleanliness is fair, not too crowded and the owner is really hands on with his guests and considerable.
