The Pack o' Cards

Great breakfast made to order. Clean comfortable room.

The property itself is steeped in history, while the rooms are spacious and characterful. My wife and I stayed in the Fuschia Room, which was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We stayed for three nights and slept extremely well due to the bed and late night silence. From what we could see, the other rooms were comparable. The owners of the hotel, Chris and Debbie, were remarkable hosts, being both extremely friendly and exceptionally considerate, while the day-to-day staff in the restaurant and bar were professional and friendly, a credit to their employers. The breakfast choices were varied and plentiful, and we enjoyed two exceptional evening meals prepared and beautifully presented by Chris and Debbie’s chef son. We had a fantastic stay and look forward to returning.

Absolutely nothing!

Location breakfast

The bed in the room was very poor. We have stayed here before and always excellent

Friendliness of staff, food and location

Mold in bathroom and uncomfortable single bed in twin room - mattress sunken in the middle which after a long day’s walk was a bit disappointing
