This house was exactly what we wanted for our family trip! The kids loved having a separate sitting area downstairs to play in and the location was right across the street from the beach. I would totally recommend it and would definitely stay again!

The owner welcomed us and was available if we had any questions or issues, which we did not. The house is spacious, comfortable and very equipped. Great location! Would definitely stay again! Five stars!

My group of nine people really enjoyed its stay in this house. The house had everything we needed and we were a short walk to the beach. I would recommend this house and will likely stay in it again myself.

This house was the perfect family house and for our 2 dogs. We sat out on the porch most of the time where you could hear the sounds of the ocean. Our dogs loved the front porch as well and the fenced in backyard was a huge plus! Would definitely stay there again.

We had 8 adults in our group, including my elderly mom. In addition, we brought 2 dogs. The house accommodated us well and there was plenty of fenced yard space for our pets. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well stocked, the amenities were adequate, and Jimmy was attentive and very accommodating to our travel schedule. The location was next to perfect for beach access. A very short walk! Overall, we were pleased with this rental and would stay here again in future travels.

This was a perfect location for both walks on the beach and visits to Charleston. We appreciated the fact we were away from the crazy business area but still close enough to take advantage of the excellent restaurants there. The rental was older but comfortable and well kept and the porch was great for relaxing and enjoying being outside.The owner was willing to help with whatever might be needed and answered all our questions promptly.

We had 6 adults and a 9-month-old. More than enough room for this group. Location was supreme. Great to be able to pretty much just leave the car for the week and walk to the beach in about 2 minutes. In mid-April, during mid-week, beach was practically empty, water warm enough for swimming. House: very well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. The outdoor shower rocks! Short drive or, honestly, reasonably nice walk to all the shops and restaurants on Center Street. "Beach" bikes could use some lubrication to make them actually rideable, but this is a very minor quibble. Tip: There's a free public tennis court that easy to reserve if you add the Court Reserve app. Summary: Highly recommend for families or groups.

This our our third year staying at this property and we love so much about it. The great location which is close to the beach and restaurants, the charm and breezes of the porch, spacious rooms for our family and great owner to work with. Would definitely recommend it for making great family memories.

We’ve been staying in Jimmy’s home in Folly since 2016. We love the house and location. The house is always very clean and Jimmy is easy to reach. Family visited from the Philadelphia area this year and it was their first trip to Folly, they loved the island and the house and can’t wait to come back next year. I’ve already booked our Spring 2024 visit Thanks for letting us stay in this lovely house.

First of all, communication with the owner was very easy and responsive. I contacted him about his willingness to allow us to bring our 5 golden doodles with us he was quick to respond and gracious to allow it. Before our arrival he sent me a text giving the address and door code. He texted again the afternoon before check out to remind us the check out time - no pressure, just a friendly reminder. The home is well appointed. The furniture is comfortable, the beds are wonderful - comfortable mattresses and lovely linens. When we travel with our dogs we bring king-sized sheets to cover the furniture and bedding so that sandy dog feet don't damage anything. The appliances are all top notch and there are plenty of dishes and pots/pans. The access to the fenced in backyard through the side door was a godsend as we could let the dogs out for pee breaks and to run off some energy without having to take them out on leashes. Quick walk to the beach across the road and the public access boardwalk. The location is lovely and an afternoon spent on the front porch isn't wasted - the porch furniture is comfortable and sufficient too. The houses on the block are staggered so there is a bit of an ocean view from the porch. It is just under a mile walk to the main drag of Folly Beach for shopping/restaurants/bars. Overall this is a great place to stay and I would have no hesitation to stay here again.

We have stayed here several times, and plan to come back again. Jimmy is a wonderful, responsive host. The layout of the house accommodates every size group. The big fenced yard is perfect for bringing doggie family members along. The beach is steps away, or just relax on the big porch.

We enjoyed our visit! The house met all our needs. Pet friendly which was important to us. Owner was very attentive but not intrusive . Location is awesome. Walked the beach daily. You won’t go wrong with renting this home.

We stayed here while visiting Folly Beach for New Years. The house was clean and as described. It was right across from the beach, so a very short walk and you're there. The owner was very kind and communication was fantastic. The bottom level does share a bath within the King room. It wasn't an issue for us, but it could matter to some. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would recommend as a great getaway and place to stay!

Spent the T-giving week with our family - 2 parents, and 3 kids (18, 16, 16) plus one college roommate with my 18 year old daughter. Beach access is across the street, so don't have to worry about finding parking or walking far to get on beach. Kitchen is fully stocked - even for Thanksgiving dinner. Both grills (gas and charcoal) were great. Laundry worked well, and the endless hot water was a hit for 6 people taking showers, and the outdoor shower was also popular. The house (most windows) and porched lacked screens, so we wanted to open the windows/doors to let the breeze and ocean sounds in but we couldn't due to bugs and lack of screens. The house is about 1 mile south of the town, and we rented a golf cart for the week as well, it was fun to run around on a golf cart. Beds were fine. Our only complaint was the spare blanket (white one) in the main floor master bedroom closet was covered in black dog hair. We didn't notice any other evidence of pets even being in the house with the exception of that one blanket. We didn't bring our dog but the back yard would have been popular if we did. Would consider returning to the house.

We had never visited Folly Beach until this trip and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The house was just like it was shown on VRBO. We loved sitting on the porch in the mornings and evenings. It was very accessible to the beach! We would love to visit again!

This was an excellent experience from beginning to end. Host Jimmy provided excellent communication and answered all of our questions quickly. The property is adorable with gorgeous ocean views, a fenced yard perfect for our dogs, and tons of amenities. The house was very clean and well appointed with comfy beds. Beach access couldn't be more convenient and Center Street was well within walking distance. This was the best vacation we've ever had, especially because we were able to bring our dogs. 10/10 highly recommend! Can't wait to go back!

We had a wonderful time staying here at Folly Beach. This is our second stay on this beach, but first at this house. We had six adults and three dogs (love pet friendly homes!!). The house was great! Everything was as advertised. There was actually a decent amount of paper products on arrival so we didn’t need to go to the store right away, which doesn’t happen often in rentals. It’s not the nicest or most modern house but it being just two houses from a beach access and having a great fenced in yard makes it worth it! Jimmy (owner) was flexible and very communicative and helpful. House was cleaned and ready several hours prior to rental start. A couple of bikes provided, which didn’t get used by us. Also lots of small beach chair options, which is great to save room when traveling - would be nice if there was an umbrella or small tent for shade. Plenty of parking for our three cars and could have fit one or two more. Well-stocked kitchen - pans, utensils, and tools. Only thing that could be improved on is the minimal beach view due to foliage. Really has everything you could need! Would highly recommend staying here.

This house is so great, just across from the beach and we spent almost as much time on the front porch as we did at the beach. I was a little nervous about having a toddler in a house with a spiral staircase but there is a baby gate provided and we just kept him on the top level the whole trip. Lots of great little touches that made it easy with the little one, kids cups and utensils, beach toys, a playground around the corner, ect. Our dog loved the fenced in yard. We were so sad to have to leave early because of a hurricane coming through but the host was very proactive about communicating what we could expect based on their experiences so we could make a decision about whether to stay.

We had a marvelous stay, would have stayed longer if it wasn't booked. We will be back I'm certain the house supplied all our needs and then some. Wonderful home, thanks so much Jim.😊⛱️

It was so nice to be right across the street from the beach. The house is well organized and nice to have the separate levels. The outdoor shower is also wonderful to help keep the sand out. Overall we had a wonderful week stay!

Jimmy (owner) is very responsive and great to work with and the home was well appointed for our needs. The home is in a great location. The beach is a very short walk and the town center was also easily accessible. The home is very comfortable, great location and overall a great vacation value. My family looks forward to a future visit.

This house was perfect for a group of 8. We had a wide range of ages and “wants” for a vacation and this was perfect for that. Easy access to the beach to hang but also close to a cute town in Folly for food and drinks. It was an easy drive to Charleston and some of us easily made the trip multiple times while others stayed at the beach. The house was a great size for people to have their own space still and lots of extras made the trip perfect. Definitely recommend! We saw TONS of dolphins right outside too.

We had a blast and were able to bring our small dog. The owner was fantastic and the property is right across from the ocean. It made our week amazing!

This was a terrific house, terrific location and a wonderful time was had by all even with a slight snafu concerning the A/C. The property owner was there pronto and made sure things were repaired ASAP. Kudos to Jimmy.
