We enjoyed every single thing about this unique house, the curated art, the warmth, comfort, and the host Alejandro and house person Laura. Location is great for being in town or on the beach, but it gave us a quiet place to retreat to, cook a few meals, and relax. I can’t imagine having an more enjoyable vacation anywhere in the world. It was exactly what we wanted, and more.

House is amazing. Location is perfect if you want to stay outside of town center. Best beach is right down the hill. Alejandro was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay again. Be aware the house is on a steep hill so recommend renting the Polaris - makes it easy to carry your beach stuff or pop into town.

This was our favorite property thus far in Sayulita. We have visited there 3 times in the past 12 months so needless to say we love the town and know it well. You have to walk a ways to get to restaurants or the beach which was a pro and a con. The privacy and peace was sooo nice and the house and pool are so comfortable that it was nice to stay at the property. The views are unobstructed and breathtaking and you can listen to the ocean while relaxing in one of the hammocks. The A/C works great and the kitchen is well equipped with all the amenities you need. The housekeeper is extremely attentive and is an amazing cook. Her Chile rellenos and coconut flan were the best we have ever had. They have a Ranger at the property which is much nicer than the typical golf cart or you can walk about 10 minutes to restaurants and the beach. All 3 master suites are private and spacious and have their own bath and there is an additional bathroom in one of the living areas. We really enjoyed our stay there and can't wait to go back.

My family of 4 just spent an incredible 4 days at Casa Colorin. The house is just as it’s pictured and the view is even more spectacular in person. Alejandro, the home owner was so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Laura the housekeeper was so friendly and made us fantastic food during our stay. We really felt like VIP! The town is lovely and the beach access couldn’t have been any easier to get to. Plus all that you need for the beach is provided at the house. Both times we went to the beach it almost felt private as it’s away from the local beach and crowds. I loved this house so much that I’m already planning our next trip. I would highly recommend! One pointer, the hill to the house is quite steep and our Uber driver was not comfortable driving up it so I would work with Alejandro for your arrival as he had a great transportation contact that had no problem picking us up and dropping us off at the front door.

Alejandro,the owner of the place is a body shamer,was full of unsolicited comments on my weight which is extremely rude and unacceptable. I weigh only between 165 & 170 lbs(between 74 & 76 kg) which is normal & healthy for my height of 6 feet&I have a pretty flat stomach.I've never received a comment like that and I look pretty good for my age.Very inappropriate comments without any boundaries. He is also very anti-American to the point of being racist,very argumentative,insulting & difficult to deal with.And he accused me of not speaking/learning Spanish even though I was just a tourist staying only for 2 days in Mexico & am always respectful of different cultures+speak 5 languages.I'd never attack someone else's culture like that and I think Alejandro should be grateful to all the tourists that bring the cash in and support his business.World traveler here,have been to most countries in the world & lived in various,amazing countries and I don't need to be told how awful California is & that I shouldn't be there...if I wanted to leave California I would've done it already.So kindly back off and stop being disrespectful & discriminate against me only because I'm from somewhere you dislike. Future Sayulita travelers:please find to stay somewhere else...there're many great places in Sayulita but this one is NOT!Toxic environment & the abusive owner has no boundaries,doesn't listen & argues about everything you say.A huge disappointment that left a bad taste in my mouth.Gracias

Our stay at Alejandro's place was amazing! I can't say enough good things about it. His communication was prompt and very helpful eg: he booked our return taxi for us. We rented a Polaris through him which I would highly recommend as it makes getting to and from town up the steep hill SO much easier! And Laura, the housekeeper was a delight who is also cooks delicious food. All of these things combined with a stunning view and great house layout made for a wonderful family vacation. The only thing to note is that when all seven of us were on the WiFi it could be quite slow but for me it's definitely not a deal-breaker. I chose to go into town to Sayulita Cowork for my video calls because that gave me space from the rest of the family too. Win-win in my books! I highly recommend staying at Alejandro's place.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this amazing beach house in Sayulita, Mexico, and it was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived until our departure, everything exceeded our expectations.
First and foremost, the location was perfect. Situated close to town and restaurants, we had easy access to all the vibrant energy and delicious cuisine Sayulita has to offer. Whether we wanted to explore the local markets or indulge in authentic Mexican dishes, everything was within walking distance.
The highlight of our stay was the wonderful combination of having a maid and cook on-site. The maid ensured the house was immaculately clean throughout our stay, while the cook prepared mouthwatering meals that showcased the flavors of the region. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and friendly demeanor truly made us feel pampered and allowed us to fully relax and enjoy our vacation.
Speaking of relaxation, the view from the beach house was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the sight of the pristine beach and crystal-clear turquoise waters was like stepping into a postcard. We spent countless hours on the spacious terrace, savoring the picturesque sunsets and enjoying the gentle ocean breeze.

I recently returned from a 5 night stay at this remarkable property. Our group included me, my husband, and my brother (all mid to late 30s); my 70+ year old parents and my 5 year old son. The views from the house and the pool are incredible. We also loved that all of the bedrooms were master suites with views, so no one had to settle for a bad room. The pool was the perfect temperature and has a big shallow end, which was great for our son. We spent hours in it each day. Alejandro was an excellent host. He was very responsive prior to and during our stay. He helped arrange our airport transportation and rented his Polaris to us, which was definitely needed for getting around town. Laura, the housekeeper, was also such a delight. When we arrived at the house, exhausted from traveling on just a few hours sleep, she unloaded all of our groceries and whipped up delicious guacamole and pico de gallo. We later hired Laura to cook us dinner—highly recommend! Casa Colorin is a special place, and I hope to return some day!!

This property is gorgeous and you can tell a lot love went into the design. The owner of the property was very helpful and prompt with responses. He helped us coordinate transportation and gave advice for around town. Laura, the caretaker of the home was amazing! She made us dinner one night and it was delicious, the best ceviche we have ever had. I highly recommend it! The entire experience was beyond what we expected. We loved every second of it. The only small consideration is that they are doing some light construction on the property behind the house. It wasn't terribly loud but they did start around 7 am in the morning, we have a toddler so we were already up ut I could see it being disruptive to sleep if you weren't prepared ahead of time!

The house was amazing great place to stay! The hill going to the house was steep if your in great shape you can walk it.I recommend getting the Polaris. Golf carts can not make it up the hill with more then one person. The view is amazing!

This is our fourth time to Sayulita and this property exceeded all expectations. Definitely our favorite. The house is visually stunning, an architectural beauty, landscaped and appointed perfectly. The views are stunning, the pool is perfect, I can go on forever about how great this house is. Alejandro was an gracious host from start to finish, very timely with communication and just wonderful to deal with. Laura the house manager is adorable, so kind and took care of everything for us on site. She made us a wonderful breakfast one morning and an amazing dinner for a friend in our party’s birthday too. We were able to get a 6 passenger Polaris through Alejandro, and it was perfect for getting up and down the hill and around town. We are already trying to nail down dates for the future to come back and stay at this property again!

We were a party of 3 couples and all of us LOVED the house and the hospitality. We had Laura cook us 2 dinners and we are so glad we did they were simply delicious! The hill down to town was steep but well worth the view and the beautiful views! Alejandro was very nice and helpful always quick to respond to a question. We all have decided we will be back. The beds are comfortable the house is well stocked. Thank you so much we really enjoyed our stay.

We booked this as a sort of family vacation/reunion to hang out with my sister and her family consisting of two teenage boys. This property gave all of us the space that we needed to hang out, have our own space if we needed, and a great kitchen to cook some amazing meals. When we didn’t cook, we had Laura who cooked us a couple of amazing meals. She was also there every day to tidy. The house was at the top of a very steep hill, but we had access to Polaris ATV and it made it really easy to bring all of the groceries up and beach gear we wanted down. Local shopping for souvenirs and food was everywhere and it was an exceptionally easy little town to navigate by foot. The people there were from all over and it was easy to communicate with anyone, despite the fact we speak no Spanish. This property and destination is a do over for sure!

The property is a perfect complement to the peaceful and sublime town of Sayulita. I invited my two adult daughters and my father to Sayulita over the Thanksgiving holiday week and Alejandro's wonderful place was perfect for us all to reconnect. The home had several different areas that were perfect for collecting comfortably. The views were spectacular and set a wonderful vibe. I can't recommend this place any higher! Stay here!
Alejandro was the perfect host and accomodated our every request. The house keeper Maria was super sweet and made us a fantastic meal as well!

The rooms were perfect for 5 adults and we were able to request menus from Linda cooked for us several times. She was so warm, welcoming and the food was excellent. I’d highly recommend this property. Just a warning it’s at the top of an extremely steep hill and I’d def recommend renting the Polaris from Alejandro and not one of the golf carts. They’ll never make it up the hill!

Casa Colorin was a dream come true! Alejandro was very easy to communicate with and he helped set up transportation from the airport, which was perfect. The housekeeper, Laura, was so sweet and such a treat to have. The house is stunning. Pictures don’t do it justice. We loved the pool and could not get enough of the view. The location of the house was perfect- close to the beach and an easy ride to town with the golf cart. We loved this house, and Sayulita, and cannot wait to come back. Thank you Alejandro!

Laura was great and Alejandro was awesome. We had everything we needed and the property was clean, safe and perfectly appointed. My friends and I stayed at Casa Colorin for 5 days and absolutely loved it. The view was unbelievable and the house was great! Laura, the housekeeper, was fantastic and kept the house clean for us everyday. We are definitely making a trip back!

The house was amazing with great views. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. We had a great time! The only exception was that the kitchen drawers and appliances (including refrigerator) were not as clean as we would have liked it. But overall, the house was perfect!

Location is on the north side and a short walk to the north side beach. About a 15 min walk to the center of town. The only thing to note is that with every view is a hill. The house is on a steep hill so leave your heels at home. We considered it our daily exercise and embraced it but there’s also a Polaris to rent if you’d rather not walk. Overall, a fantastic place to stay.

This house is absolutely beautiful and was the perfect retreat for our first visit to Mexico. We were celebrating my sister getting married with just a few of us, and this place was incredible just as the other reviews have mentioned. Alejandro was very kind and a great communicator. The house was stocked, Laura came every day and cleaned, and the A/C worked incredibly well. I can't even describe the views, nothing like you've seen before! I would like to warn anyone that uses a rental car, the hill up to the house is extremely steep, and if you don't drive manual often or use shift gears, it can be really hard to get up so be prepared. There are spots to park at the bottom of the hill though and using the Polaris is a necessity! Thanks so much Alejandro, it was an unforgettable trip and we'll definitely be back!
