We have always enjoyed South Haven and over the past 7 years we have stayed at Lindys Lake House 4 of those times. Location is central for walking to beach and town. Kids enjoy the big back yard.

We were very happy with our stay at Lindy's Lake House! The outside appearance is pristine - beautiful blue exterior with super nice patio and separate fire pit. The inside was quite spacious in the living room, dining area, and kitchen. The kitchen had many small appliances and cupboards full of serving pieces. Our group of eight women had no problem sharing five bedrooms and three bathrooms. The location is perfect for quick walks to town, the beach, church, and local restaurants. Our vrbo host, P.J., provided a list of activities and restaurants that was very helpful. The details provided in advance of our stay were well-thought-out. On top of all that, we had fantastic weather! I would highly recommend a stay at this lovely home!!

The location of the house was perfect, few minute walk to either downtown or the beach and a very nice neighborhood. The house is a lot bigger than what we imagined from the pictures which was great. It was nice to have plenty of kitchen utensils and cookware to utilize. The house was very clean when we arrived. The only thing I would say that would need “improvement” would be to really deep clean the high traffic areas on the walls and doors, I have kids of my own so I may just be picky about it, and maybe consider getting a second trash cart. When we arrived they were already full and didn’t have space to throw away what we needed to until pickup day. I also set trash out properly and the trash truck didn’t pick up everything that was set out only the bins were emptied, I know that’s no fault of the owner but maybe getting a second bin would resolve that issue. We had a great time and definitely recommend staying at the lake house!

This lake house truly became our home for the long weekend to celebrate our daughter turning 16! It was perfect. Location is everything - it is well centered and walkable, just a couple of blocks from the main entrance to south beach, a couple of blocks to the harbor walk, and a couple of blocks to the downtown shops and restaurants. All with sidewalks. There was incredible space tucked in to this home. It has great areas to be together (in the open kitchen layout or in the basement) and lots of bedrooms for privacy. There were no issues. It is comfortably decorated. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds are very comfortable. The front porch was cozy for morning coffee. The two couches by the fireplace were good for reading and napping. There were good games for entertaining. The fire pit was lovely for the cool evenings. But above all, the owner is AMAZING! She helped me to make sure the 16th was ‘sweet’! She not only connected me to the most amazing bakery (Malissa’s Itty Bitty bakery) but arranged the pick up prior to my arrival. She also gave me a great evaluation of restaurants so that I everything was planned in advance. If you stay here, you will be nothing but pleased!

Beautiful house close to everything in south haven. House was perfectly described. We loved our stay and look forward to returning again!

Lovely house, perfect location, great kitchen, wonderful outdoor area. Everything perfect for our 5 siblings. The only heads up is that bunk beds are definitely for kids, uncomfortable for adult. Thank you for wonderful memories.

We had a great stay in mid September! The home was plenty spacious for our group of 12. The location was perfect! We were able to walk to all the shops and restaurants. Our only complaint is the cleanliness of the house. The rugs, carpet and chairs were extremely stained and could use replacing. This did not affect our stay, but we feel it could make this home a true 5 star experience. Thanks!

We enjoyed our stay. Had one issue which was addressed quickly. Loved walking downtown and to the beach. Even walked to church on Sunday.

Leading up to the trip, P.J. was great with communication. Absolutely no issues at all. The house itself is wonderful. Rooms are comfortable, bathrooms quantity matches with bedroom count, kitchen is well equipped and spacious. Location is spot on for getting into town or down to the beach. And the back yard is relaxing and nice as well. I cannot recommend this house enough if you are staying in South Haven.

We had 11 people in this spacious house, and had a wonderful time! We all agreed - we want to come back! The kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were adequate and pretty comfortable. Not so sure the downstairs bed was a queen - probably a double. But we all managed to sleep well! There were to living areas to spread out in, so we had plenty of room to gather.

We felt right at home in this lovely house! It is both spacious and cozy at the same time. We were in town for a long weekend with a few friends and it was perfect. The house is modern and appealing, has all the amenities needed, and is located within walking distance from town. We loved the fire pit and the natural gas grill. We enjoyed the indoor fire place as well when it got too cold outside. The bedrooms were large and the beds comfy. The house was very clean and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and I would highly recommend this house!

Our stay was wonderful! The house is beautiful and clean. There was plenty of room for all of us and within walking distance to the beach and town. I would definately consider renting the house again.

This is the second time our group has enjoyed the beautiful blue house. So close to shops and restaurants downtown and near the beach. If you choose to stay, trust me, you will not be disappointed!!

Family of 7 stayed right after Labor Day. The weather was beautiful and water at Lake Michigan was nice. The home was in a great location : 3 blocks from the beach and 3 blocks from downtown. The house had plenty of room , many beds and all the amenities where available for us to use. The back yard area has extremely nice patio and dining table and also at a different location there is a fire pit and chairs. The interior of the house is very nicely finished and very comfortable especially after a long day of riding bikes and spending time by Lake Michigan. We would definitely consider staying here again .
