There is barely any lighting in the kitchen, one light in the kitchen area that is very dim and pointed at the wall. There was also no usual amenities that have been offered with any VRBO we have stayed at before ie.. Coffee, shampoo, body wash. The kitchen drawers are hard to open and almost fall out. Large Stains on the main lighting in the living room. The ceiling in all areas are major need of repair & paint. Mildew smell within the unit as well as sagging flooring under the hot tub ( which is directly above the living area) that was a bit scary.

We were supposed to stay at the 2bed 2bath condo. Unfortunately it was not available, so we got upgraded to a 3 bed 3 bath house. The house was nice and big, very cozy. At first night we didn’t have towels in the house, and the manager brought them at in a few hours. Also boiled was broken, and they fixed it at the same day. Although we didn’t get everything perfect right away, the manager was very nice and fixed all the issues in a timely manner! Very good manager. Thank you!

The house definitely needs new photos. The house does not look like that. Door handles are falling apart. Some of the windows don't event have a window screen so when you open window you have a risk for bug to come in the house. The house does not have enough lighting so it makes the house really dark. The Hut tub is a bit old. My friend was staying at bedroom located on the first floor and found some bugs on the sheet. She had to stay on the other bed just to feel better. The house stated it had Wi-Fi but we were unable to connect to it. I called to get it fix but the guy never showed up even though he said he will come in the morning to have it fixed. On the master bedroom bath room the shower door was missing so it make a huge mess when showering since all the water goes to the floor near the toilet. The sliding door is falling apart so it was hard to open it.

Although this property had a great location and amenities, it is in dire need of maintenance.
There is visible water damage in the main living area and a musty smell. The slider handle was broken and lampshades very visible stains.
Also it just didn’t have the nice little touches of hospitality that many other properties I have stayed in have.

Overall it is a great location and neighborhood. Well cared for subdivision. The condo was clean and suited us well. My biggest concern was the lack of lighting. The design of the condo tends to be naturally dark. The lack of lighting, specifically the kitchen, was notable. The ceiling fan in the master bedroom has been broken for months according to the reviews. Still not fixed on our stay. Overall it was a decent stay. * Note - If you’re adverse to stairs do not stay here. 60+ steps to the top floor.

Unfortunately, would definitely not recommended. The room was in way worse of a condition than the pictures showed. We experienced an incident where the shower door shattered on one of our guests, and though accidents happen, in our opinion it was poorly handled by the property management company and effected the remainder of our vacation. The location was in a good spot to Heavenly

We loved the location and check in/out was easy but the fan in the upstairs bedroom seemed dangerous and the patio door handle was broken. Some windows on the upper level had no screens so without air conditioning it was hard to cool down. Also some unappealing water stains on the ceiling and floor lamp in the living room.

I understand no AC and this was a heat spell for Tahoe but a broken ceiling fan in the top floor master with no other portable fans and no screens in the upstairs windows made it impossible to sleep up there. The sofa bed was so dirty we wouldn’t have used it. The master shower door was shattered when we arrived and they cleaned up the glass but didn’t hang a shower curtain so the floor got soaked when we showered up there. TVs turned on but no reception or connection to channels.

We had a great stay here. Plenty of room and very spacious. Location was great and easy to get to and from the lake.
The living room had a leak from the ceiling that was dripping onto the couch and lamp. It was a a dark color and looked unappealing and we didn’t use this area at all because of it. The ceiling fan in the main bedroom upstairs also looked like it was going to fall.
The hot tub was great and we were very pleased with the view! Overall a great stay.

Property was pretty beat up, worn rug, stains on ceiling, needs paint, etc. Any renter should be aware there are 23 steps up to the front door, then another fifteen to the second floor, and yet another 15 to the third. So if you have any difficulty navigating steps, this property isn't for you.

This unit is in need of some TLC -- patched paint on the stairwells; half-painted beams, masking tape and exposed caulking in the master bedroom; a single spotlight to illuminate the entire kitchen; limited kitchen supplies; outdated TV; weak wifi. This unit is very dim in the evenings, due to lighting as well as paint and furnishings. Looks like photos only on bright sunny day with curtains/blinds pushed back. Pros: comfy beds, nice bedding, updated bathrooms, its own hot tub.

Vacation rental was in a great location to the distance to downtown and lake. We were not able to use the hottub as it had an extremely amount of chemicals in it that literally took our breath away while running the jets. Property personnel came to see if they could fix the problem but they would've had to drain and readd water, so we didn't have it corrected as it would've taken longer than we were going to be there. Rugs were in need of some deep cleaning. But with those aside it was fine. The stated bathroom updates were nice.

The location was convenient and everything we needed was there including a pool on the property. We visited during July and with no a/c we made due by opening the windows in the evening to cool off. Be on the lookout for the hospitality app invitation for check-in instructions (easy to overlook) and tips for the local area.

Lovely condo but bring your own supplies
Super condo and great location to be out of the Stateline traffic with easy access to South/East/North Tahoe areas. Basics were fine (super bedding, towels, dish cleaning materials etc) however the little things that you need weren't there. For example there was only one wine glass that was glass, the rest were plastic and absolutely no provisions. We flew in and couldn't bring anything so we were hoping for at least some cooking oil, salt and pepper and, pushing our luck, some coffee for the first morning. Didn't need much more but didn't even have those in stock, you have to bring everything. I'm beginning to learn to avoid properties managed by a professional company. Owner managed properties are far better stocked with things that you need when you know you can't bring it all with you. A few of these small things would not have cost much and then I would have given our stay a better rating.

Problems began the moment we walked into the condo, however. The overpowering and artificial air freshener was offensive and impossible to get rid of. We were surprised that people even use that stuff anymore and couldn't help but wonder what odors the owners were trying to cover up. Photos showed a light and airy condo--what we got was darker than dark. The worst part was the carpet and area rug in the kitchen--disgusting. The kitchen was equipped with just three unmatched wine glasses. Overall we were very disappointed. How many people have to leave bad reviews before the place undergoes any kind of improvement? These owners should be ashamed of what they are renting for this price and there should be some standards put into place for what is considered acceptable for guests. Never again!

Renters of this property beware
The property is in terrible condition . The carpet is heavily stained, kitchen linoleum is coming apart, screens missing or in disrepair. Walls have areas in need of repair. Lighting is terrible, the entire unit needs to be painted. The kitchen cabinets are very old and need to be replaced. The bathrooms are fully carpeted including around the commodes. There’s no telling the germs and unsanitary conditions of that area of the carpet. We put towels down around the commode so that our feet wouldn’t come in contact with the carpet. We strongly considered going to a hotel but the nice ones were full or closed due to the fires.
The owner should be embarrassed to rent this property and to not disclose its true condition in its advertising. We travel often and It is by far the worse unit we’ve ever experienced. .
With that said the management company stepped up and I was very impressed with them. Specifically Ray was excellent to work with. He was willing to come by the unit to personally see it’s condition. He was able to discount the stay to compensate for the condition of the unit. I was very impressed with him and I would fully trust working with him in future rentals.
I would not recommend anyone renting this unit until it’s been fully renovated. But, I do recommend working with Ray and his management company, they stepped up and did the right thing.

Great location, poor everything else.
This property needs serious updating and someone to really come clean it. The location is awesome and super close to SLT and Zephyr Cove, but for the money, its not worth it. First, there is no view of Lake Tahoe as in the pictures, second, its just not that clean. There is dust all over the blinds in every room. Screens are missing off of windows, the downstairs shower has problems and wasn’t easy to use. The hot tub has so much chlorine and chemicals that just sitting out there with the cover off is too much to inhale. We would never stay again. For 2 nights, it was over $800!!! Do yourself a favor and spend the money elsewhere.
