This lake house was a great central location for us as we hiked in NY and VT. We also enjoyed being only 40-45 minutes to Saratoga and SPAC for a concert. Plenty of farm stands for local produce and baked goods. The only things that kept this review from 5 Star was that it has a washer/dryer combo unit that really doesn't dry well at all so we had clothes hanging everywhere. The kitchen lacks any cooking spices, there was only salt, garlic salt and olive oil. There were no napkins and only one roll of paper towels. Our biggest issue is that if you rent a space that connects to the owners there should be a deadbolt on the door on the rental side. It made my wife very uncomfortable. It was great to be able to have our golden retriever with us, she gives John and Akiko 5 Stars!

Excellent property and location to many great activities. IE Tubing, ski areas, walking trails ect. Bird watching.

The place we stayed was very comfy and clean. The host lives on the property so there was a very good communication process. We greatly enjoyed the wildlife and privacy.

A lovely place if the weather is dry and beautiful. Very kind hosts. Sensitive sleepers need to be advised that footsteps from upstairs are fully audible.
