Harold was great, very friendly and helpful. He even suggested a day trip that was a lot of fun. The cabin was great. It had comfortable beds, nice decorations. We would definitely stay here again.

I had an enjoyable time, and love to return again.

We enjoyed our stay. The property owner was very helpful. The cabin was clean, well equipped and comfy. Just a short drive to many area attractions and necessities such as gas and grocery. We were staying during a hunting trip and everything was great. The parking area is a little tight if you are pulling a trailer but if you are able to back up a trailer you won't have a problem. We had a great time!

The cabin was sparkling clean and had every thing a person would need such as fluffy blankets, extra comfortable pillows, and every type of kitchen gadget and utensil for cooking, baking, etc. Harold was very accommodating and replied to all questions within a short amount of time through the VRBO email. We will definitely be coming back to stay at this well cared for cabin.

I was out visiting the Wyoming Dinosaur Center for 4 days doing their dig for a day program. This place was perfectly situated near Thermopolis and a 5 minute drive from the museum. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay and the Wifi worked great. If I'm ever back in the area again to do another dig, I would absolutely stay here again!

Sulfa smell from the hot springs across the highway was horrible. Flooring from room to room was uneven and if you won’t paying attention, it would cause you to twist your back. No local tv channels for the news and weather etc. would not recommend this property.

The owners were so nice and we still plan to send them some Hershey’s candy once it gets cooler so it wouldn’t melt during shipment! They provided wonderful recommendations, which we completely did once we left foe our next destination. The location was perfect. We wished we could’ve stayed longer.

We came to Thermopolis to visit the WDC. The cottage on Red Lane was charming. We had a great stay!

Stayed in Thermopolis for a fishing tournament at Boysen Reservoir. Decided to go a day earlier and stay a day longer than we head originally scheduled. Harold and his wife were happy and more than willing to accommodate the two extra days. The casita was very clean and just as described in the listing. Harold and his wife are wonderful and had no problem meeting our needs. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Thank you both for a wonderful stay!! We will be back!!

We booked this property based on its excellent reviews, and its description as quiet and rural. We were surprised to discover that the house is adjacent to busy Highway 20 - approximately 20 yards - and also near an active train track. The property is littered with trash and abandoned equipment, and it smells strongly of chicken manure and sulphur. The house is surrounded by several other houses and outbuildings, and there was not a “pasture” in sight. The house, while clean, was in rough shape, with holes in the wall, worn flooring, and an interior that feels cobbled together. I am 5’4 and had to duck to get under the shower head, and one doorway was barely taller than I am. When we calmly explained our inability to sleep due to constant highway noise and smell, and asked for the remaining night to be refunded due to the inaccurate property description, the owner refused a refund, raised his voice at us, and told us that we should not leave a negative review. We left a day early very disappointed (I will insert that the owner was initially friendly and also that we left at 2pm, which would have been too late for Harold to rebook; however, we felt we were due 1 night’s refund based on our experience). As experienced travelers both in the U.S. and abroad, we are befuddled by this property’s positive reviews and are disappointed by the owner’s hostile response. I wish VRBO would allow us to attach photos that show the true state of this property.
