Das Cottage on Millionaires Row befindet sich in Alexandria Bay, NY. Dieses Gebiet im Norden des Staates New York wird auch als 1000 Islands bezeichnet. Es heißt wegen der vielen Inseln in diesem Bereich der St. Lawrence River, 1864 von ihnen, um genau zu sein. Dieser Bereich bietet viele Dinge, nur wenige Minuten von der Hütte zu tun. Glücksspiel, Casinos, Shopping, Eislaufen, Paddle Boarding, Angeln am Pier, Wildwasser-Rafting, Golfen und Bootfahren, um nur einige zu nennen! Es wurde zu einem der 10 besten Reiseziele der Welt gekürt!
Dieses zweistöckige Cottage wurde 2003 erbaut und bietet einen herrlichen Blick auf den Hauptschifffahrtskanal und das historische Schloss Boldt. Das Haus verfügt über eine große, moderne Küche mit einem offenen Ess- / Wohnbereich mit einer Terrasse mit Blick auf den Fluss und einem großen benutzerdefinierten Panoramafenster mit einem spektakulären Blick auf das Schloss.
Im Erdgeschoss befinden sich ein privates Schlafzimmer, ein großes Familienzimmer, ein großer Shuffle-Board-Tisch, ein Vollbad und eine Wäscherei. Die zweite Etage umfasst eine offene Küche und eine Bar, ein Ess- / Wohnzimmer, ein Hauptschlafzimmer, ein Vollbad und eine Leitertreppe zum Dachboden.
Das Anwesen umfasst die Nutzung eines großen Docks mit viel Platz für ein großes Boot, kristallklares Schwimmen und großartiges Angeln. Dazu gehört auch die Nutzung eines privaten Pools mit Badehaus und eines großen privaten Gartens. Wir sind nur wenige Gehminuten vom Dorf Alex Bay entfernt und in der Nähe von Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Very lovely and relaxing place. One mile from town. Stunning view of the river.

A friend and I, along with my (2) small dogs, enjoyed a couple relaxing days at this lovely cottage. The home is very clean and well equipped. Great view of River and ships passing, both from the home, as well as while sitting in the beautiful yard, listening to the waterfall built into the rock wall! The big custom arch window, along with skylights t/o the home, bring in lots of sun light and allow you to enjoy the natural beauty of your surroundings even when you are inside. The (2) bedrooms are great, with (1) on the lower level and the 2nd on the 2nd floor, or what is considered the main living area with living room and kitchen. Each of these levels have a full BR, which is great. The loft area has sleeping space for (2) w/ small mattresses on the floor, so that space is best for kids. I think kids would love the space and it would add to their fun vacation. Rob was very welcoming to his property, which was appreciated because you are sharing a big open yard with his main home. He was eager for us to enjoy all the property had to offer, but he was not intrusive at all. Very nice host. A big plus is the option to use Rob's pool, which is unusual for a rental. If traveling with someone challenged by stairs, this might not be the best property as you have a full set of stairs to get to the main living area of the home (but great handrail), as well as a full set of stairs to get to the water if you wanted to access the River. Very nice accommodations and beautiful setting.

We have frequented the 1000 Islands for 35 years and keep our 38’ boat at a nearby marina, however we rent each summer to entertain friends and family.
The property is beautifully maintained and is unrivaled for its views, proximity to the restaurants, boathouse, and homeowner. We received a warm welcome from Robert (owner) who highlighted all the property’s amenities, making us feel at home.
Property sleeps 4 adults and 2 teenagers ( loft) comfortably. Kitchen, bathrooms and living spaces worked wonderfully and met all our needs.
A great opportunity to have the best views and location in all the 1000 islands.

The house is in a perfect location. Great views from the balcony of the St. Lawrence River. The check in process left me a little uncomfortable as they said they’d leave the property unlocked. We arrived in the evening when it was dark. Also the key that was left to lock the doors didn’t work so when we left we had to leave it open. But other than that the property was exactly how it was described and we enjoyed our weekend.

The house is in a perfect location. Great views from the balcony of the St. Lawrence River. The check in process left me a little uncomfortable as they said they’d leave the property unlocked. We arrived in the evening when it was dark. Also the key that was left to lock the doors didn’t work so when we left we had to leave it open. But other than that the property was exactly how it was described and we enjoyed our weekend.

A ton of burned out light bulbs in the kitchen, patio, and bathroom. Photos were extremely deceiving of sleeping situations and was pretty dissapointing but we made due. Grill was missing the ignitor button, no yard lighting for night walks. Make sure to bring your own toilet paper if you like more than 1 ply airplane grade.
Overall we had a good stay but would not return.

We loved our stay the house is in a great location and the use of the dock was great. Amazing views, amazing waterfall by the water and nice chairs with pergola overlooking the river. The fire pit is really nice and there was lots of wood. The pool was small and shallow great for kids, not so great for adults. The only only negative is the house is loud so would suggest only a couple or two couples rent if staying in anything but upstairs bedroom you can hear everything.

Girls Weekend
We had a great time, despite being winter. The house is the perfect location, quiet and peaceful, yet minutes away from stores, restaurants, etc. The property is beyond beautiful and very nicely kept. I would recommend staying any time of year. The location gives you the best view of the River and the main Channel! I would definitely come back.

The house was a little dusty and the kitchen dishes were not entirely clean. For the price per night, window dressings and extra bedding could be better. Overall, an OK stay!
