Clean and convenient to everything. Nice and clean but really thin walls. Could use some kind of counter space in the bathroom and a coffee pot. Would recommend!

The property is in a great location, you can reach a lot within walking distance. The walls are paper thin, you can hear full on conversations (and more…) from other guests. The information we received really emphasized the priority of cleanliness but there was garbage left behind in our room from previous guests. The bathroom is poorly laid out with NO counter space and the shower is really tiny, so be prepared for that. I wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer than the two night minimum.

The property is exactly as pictured. It has the best view in Friday Harbor and has very close proximity to the ferry/downtown. The room was spacious, well appointed and extremely clean. Other reviews are correct in saying the walls are thin and noise travels easily. However, ear plugs are provided if you don’t have your own. Honestly, we didn’t have any issues with noise even though all units were full. I don’t know where other travelers were staying, but we certainly felt like we lucked out with one of the best properties on the island.

We stayed for two nights and loved how easy it was to get to everything in town from the property. We had family staying on a sailboat in the marina so it was easy to use the stairs from the docks to get to the property on the top of the hill. It definitely gets the heart rate elevated! There were lots of signs about noise level and the walls being thin, but that wasn’t an issue during the stay. Having the fan was super nice because it was hot the week we arrived. Would definitely stay here again!

There are four separate units - with one main door accessing the main building. There is a great outdoor seating area with wonderful views of the harbor. We stayed in the Lummi. It was clean and bright and while we didn't have a harbor view from our unit, we had a beautiful view of lush green trees and we even had deer coming several times right next to our small outdoor terrace. And from the terrace we did have a small view of the harbor. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. There are only two things that I would suggest an improvement on. (1)The bathroom, while spacious enough, did not really have any place to put anything. Some hooks and a small shelf on the wall, or a small floor rack where you could put a toiletry bag would be a nice addition. (2) Whoever built these units did NOT use any insulation or used the cheapest products available as there is absolutely NO soundproofing. When you can hear every word the other people are speaking in their units that is not good. And even at night, when all is quiet, I could actually hear the person next to us snoring (granted, that person may have been a loud snorer, but nonetheless this is unacceptable). While I realize you can't go back and rebuild the place, we did notice that the door to our unit had at least a half inch open space where you could actually see light. Perhaps they could put some type of felt lining there or something else that would absorb/block out additional sound. Luckily we weren't there much during the day as we were out exploring and the snoring only happened one night but if you were going to spend a lot of time there, or if the other guests talked a lot, it would be noisy. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay here.

My husband and I stayed in the Lummi room at Cannery Inn during our honeymoon and we loved it! Everything was clean and comfortable. The only thing I felt the room could have benefitted from was a coat rack (we brought lots of coats for layering) and some more counter space in the bathroom. There was really no where to put things like makeup and hair tools and the only mirror is in the bathroom. Other than that, everything was wonderful.
