Premium Budget is a good name for this hotel. The comfort of the beds and quality of the linens were good for a place at this price point as were the available facilities and little perks like included hot drinks/water. The staff were all super friendly and made our stay extra pleasant. The hotel is well-located in this charming corner of the old town with plenty to see and do only a short walk away
Some rooms - ours included look onto a blank wall of an adjacent building making it dark and somewhat oppressive, However the staff were great and when a cancellation occurred, allowed us to move to an alternative room for our last few days which was very much appreciated. Not sure why ... as there wasn't a power failure in the area but the fancy adjacent hotel had its standby generator running constantly one night which was very loud and disruptive.

Great location, within walking distance of almost everything in the Old Town, and very easy to recognize and use as a reference point when getting around. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi was quite weak and unstable, at least in the room I stayed in. Other than that, highly recommended!

The bed and the room were really comfortable and the quality was pretty good! Also, it was big and comfy, they clean it everyday. There were snacks available for us to eat during the day like coffee and bread. Their hospitality was incredible. I would recommend 100%
The shower was a little bit small and the water wets the whole bathroom, but we also understand that this is cultural since very hotel in Thailand has been this way. Just have this in mind when you come to the country and stay in home stays or small hotels.

Great location and I’d say perfect for the backpacker.
For the price you can’t really complain…especially with the free snacks (toast/ biscuits) available all day.
Noisy with other guests but we was right by the stairs
