The location is excellent and very central; we could walk everywhere. The cleaning lady did a great job, the place was clean. Breakfast was also okay.
I had a terrible experience with the host, Fabio. I was traveling with my wife and 3-year-old child.
Disorganization: Before arrival, the host was confused about which apartment/address I had actually booked.
Lateness: Despite notifying him 30 minutes prior and sending a live taxi gps update, no one greeted us. We waited outside with our luggage and toddler for 10 minutes. No apology was offered for the delay.
Bait and Switch: The apartment shown was not the one we booked. He only admitted the booked room was 'unavailable' after I confronted him.
Hostility: He offered a downgrade as an alternative. When we tried to discuss our options, Fabio raised his voice and aggressively pressured us to decide immediately.
I had to firmly ask him to stop.
This was the worst hosting experience I have ever had. Zero empathy and very unprofessional.
