Had everything that you could need and lovely terrace garden for breakfast.
Clearer instruction re oven and recycling would be useful

Everything. The cottage was perfect. I can't think of a single bad point. The view of Coniston water was breath taking and it was only a 5 minute walk into the village. The little extras were very welcome, like a backpack and flask if you needed it, logs for the fire and all condiments you may need.(sauces,salt and pepper, tea and coffee).
Going home at the end of the week.

The cottage was really cosy, but at the same time there was plenty of space for the three of us. We cooked at home one evening and there were oils, herbs, condiments provided as well as tea and coffee, more pans than we could use and an excellent range. The host also provided some very welcome treats for us.
The recent renovation was tasteful and practical in every respect. The broadband connection was fast and reliable - no problems with a Zoom meeting.
The elevated location gives great views over the valley, but the walk into town was easy even for my 89 year old father in law! I just wish we could have stayed a few days more.
Really can't think of much: we couldn't find a knife sharpener but that's about it.

Lovely well equipped cottage. I loved reclining chairs in sitting room. Clean easy to use kitchen and bathroom. Excellent starting point for walks
The second bedroom was a little small and twin beds a bit small. Vehicle assess was slightly tricky but there were excellent instructions emailed to me prior to stay

It was all good very much liked it
My sister had the the single bed and it it was excruciatingly uncomfortable, she ending up sleeping downstairs on the sofa .. These beds may be ok of kids but not for 50 yr old adults.. It should be made clear these are not for adults , other that it was a great cottage

Quiet location and great view high above town. Cottage is very clean and kitchen is well stocked.
The drive to the cottage. I had a terrible experience getting there. Being from Canada, I am just not used to driving on such narrow lane in a SUV. Not only is the lane not lit at night, but it goes up and down and twists and turns as well. After the first night, I decided to park on the street and walk to/from the cottage.
The smoke detector is hyper sensitive. It can be easily triggered. We put a pizza in the oven and after 10 min the beeping began. I had to stood by the device and constant wave at it with a book to disarm it.

The cottage was lovely in every way. The view was superb and the cottage was a delight. The owners left us all manner of extras, like tea, coffee, condiments and all the toiletries we would need.
The only very miner gripe I could have was the toilet seat wouldn't stay up on its own.

Views were great, although a small cottage it has plenty of room for four.
If the garden was closer to the property it would have been perfect. Being a terrace of small cottages the shared patio is across the road and down some steps so you cant see the garden from the house if you have children.

A very well equipped cottage, it had everything you needed including the essentials tea coffee, condiments, toiletries etc. A lovely welcome pack of local beer and chocolate.
Wood was provided for the log burner.
It has beautiful views overlooking the lake and mountains.

Excellent cottage - it exceeded our expectations which were already set high. Hosts had thought of everything and then more. Ideal after a day's winter walking - returning to the comfort and warmth of a lovely cottage. Sat on recliners with log fire burning.... Kitchen well equipped and we used it every evening. Location is excellent - great views and local pubs serve standard grub and good local brews (Bull and Sun have best offer and Coniston Brewery is in Bull so expect good selection of well kept ales..) Highly recommended and we plan to return in the summer.
Cooking in kitchen trips fire alarm too easily - minor and easily rectifiable point.
Approach drive up 'The Banks' - in a large estate - was fine and if you like driving in the Lakes with its stone hedges you'll have no issues getting to the cottage. Approach is however steep, twisty and narrow and could be challenging in icy conditions or for less confident drivers. Arriving in daylight for the first time is the best bet if you think you might be nervous...

Fabulous location overlooking the lake and valley. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable, containing everything you could possibly need. The reclining chair/sofa was an unexpected revelation! It was lovely relaxing in front of the wood burner.
Short walk into the village and onto the lake. Plenty of places to eat nearby, all within walking distance and great location for accessing paths to the Old Man of Coniston.

The drive up was a bit hair raising in a long car but was well worth it, view from the cottage was great. The cottage had every amenity you could possibly think of and the welcome gift was a bonus. Plus we hit the fabulous September 'heatwave'🌞

The cottage was perfect and quaint, gorgeous views of the Coniston Water and a great base for exploring other parts of the lakes. The accommodation was immaculate and it felt like a home away from home. As other reviews suggest the road leading to the cottage is a little on the narrow side but it added to the experience, we had no issues with getting the car in and out!

Everything is provided! Most things you can think of are covered. Like a home from home. We now want to find the same sofas for our house :D
Parking is ‘challenging’ due to property location however this is all part of being in the wonderful Lakes. Might be a concern for nervous drivers but it’s perfectly manageable and all part of the fun!

Great location and great view from the secluded terrace into the valley and Coniston Water.
Well stocked kitchen and bathroom.
A good, comfortable cottage for a family with young kids. The BBQ on the terrace was lovely.
The drive up to the cottage is a little narrow and steep for our 4×4, though luckily dad is a good driver.
Could do with a dish washer and washing machine particularly for family with young kids.
