Carl’s home was the perfect stress free setting for our week’s stay leading up to my son’s wedding in Napa. Everything about the home was better than expected. The location is walking distance to everything St Helena has to offer (which is a lot) and the home itself was inviting, comfortable and well-laid out. Just super cool all around. Wouldn’t change a thing.. It made our stay that much more enjoyable with family. PS: The Blaze grill is out of this world.

This property is so amazing. It is even better than the pictures. It was clean, well designed and decorated. The location is nice...next to the grocery store and a very quick walk to town. The owner is very responsive over text and answered any questions that I had very promptly. If there is any 'down side' to this property, it is that the guest house is beautiful and the master suite is very nice. The third bedroom is on the smaller side and you have to use a hallway bathroom that has minimal counterspace, so it definitely is not as luxurious as staying in the other parts of the house.

Beautiful home - ideal for families or couples. Lovely outdoor areas to unwind after a day at the wineries.
Location is great - walk to town (Gotts/Model bakery) plus food store and restaurants.

Our group absolutely loved our stay! The house looked exactly liked the pictures, the layout was great, and the beds were so comfy! The outdoor area was our favorite part for lounging after a day of wine tasting. One afternoon we opened up the garage door, turned on some football in the backhouse TV and sat outside at the large table, enjoying the afternoon. The location of the house was the best part - we walked to Charter Oak (our fave restaurant of the trip), Goose & Gander, Safeway (so convenient!), and Model Bakery and the Station in the morning. We also strolled downtown St. Helena one afternoon for some shopping. Fantastic house, would recommend and stay again!!

Such a lovely property! It was perfect for our stay, two couples celebrating big birthdays. Having the guesthouse gave each couple ample space and privacy. The location is wonderful, walking distance to restaurants in downtown St. Helena. The area was super quiet and peaceful. Back yard felt like an oasis. Comfortable mattresses and sheets. Fully stocked kitchen. We hope to return!! Highly recommend!!

This home was beyond our greatest expectations! Beginning with the accommodating host, the gorgeous design and decor of the home, the neighborhood, the spool...a First-Class experience.

The two bedrooms in the house and the wonderful guest house made this the perfect place for our celebration! We LOVED the pool/hot tub and the backyard! It was a perfect place to relax after a day of visiting vineyards! The location is very close to Safeway grocery and we walked to some wonderful restaurants! I highly recommend this home!

We were in St Helena for a family wedding. Other family were staying in other VRBOs and had VRBO envy :) Carl is an extraordinary host, checking in on us several times during our stay, making sure there was nothing we needed. The property itself is better than the pictures. The house is updated, nicely furnished and the beds are so comfortable. We loved the backyard - really enjoyed the spool and all the various places to sit (shaded table, deck seating, etc.). The pool house is fabulous - nice bedroom, lots of space and a fun place to hang out just off the pool. If we return to St Helena, this is definitely where I hope to stay. 6/5 stars

We have rented houses across the country and this was easily the best house we've been in. 3 great bedrooms with king beds and their own bathrooms was perfect for the 3 couples on this trip. Super close walk to restaurants and shopping and one of our favorites in the Orin Swift tasting room. Can't wait to book another trip!!

This rental is absolutely perfect - there is not a single thing to change about the experience. The home is clean, beautifully decorated, and has amazing amenities like a pool and grill. This house was great for us and 2 adult daughters. The guest house is a great feature for those who need a little “space”.
Of the 2 bedrooms in the main house, one is a bit smaller and the accompanying bath is a lot smaller. If you are 3 couples, one is going to draw the short straw, but it’s fine for a single.
The location is phenomenal, Main St. (and Model’s bakery) are a very short walk and the Safeway is literally across the street (in a good way), and it’s an easy drive to Napa restaurants and wineries.
We were there at Thanksgiving, and weather was great, but the outdoor space would be really fantastic in warmer weather. We did use the “spool” which is controlled by an iPad with Iaqualink. I’m familiar with it, so easy for us, but others might need a little more direction.
Only negatives; the towels are in dire need of replacement, frayed, dingy and rough, and the front door lock requires some patience but once you get it, it’s fine. If you’re concerned about valuables, the other doors don’t really have locking capability.
Carl was responsive even though he was traveling.
Would definitely recommend.

This remodeled home is a real gem. The back yard is an oasis with outdoor dining, a gigantic jacuzzi, and a beautiful sitting area. We changed plans to cook in one night just to enjoy the space. We had 2 couples, one in the main house and one in the guest house but could easily do 3 couples. Carl is an incredibly responsive host and helped us will dinner plans as well! #cooksthelena was delicious. Walk to sunshine market, the station and model bakery. Will be our first choice upon a return trip!!

What a gem! Breakfast will never be the same without a spool! Beautifully renovated and decorated cottage perfect for a family or in our case 3 couples on a wine trip. Well stocked, comfortable beds, great spaces for relaxing. Will def book again.

This house was perfect for our wine tasting getaway with three couples. It is beautifully renovated & clean, with modern “smart” features throughout. We enjoyed the outside space each evening and especially appreciated being able to walk to Main Street and the grocery store. Carl was helpful and easy to communicate with throughout our stay.

We had 2 couples at the property. We split the houses up and had the kitchen in main house as common space. If you have 3 couples then one couple will have a smaller room with bathroom separate but it’s fine. Was a perfect was to have privacy and a meeting area as well. Spool was awesome. The house was perfect for dinners and breakfast at home. Walking distance to everything in St Helena. Grocery store 50 yards away was great to stock up for the week. We will be staying here again.

Perfect home and location for three couples visiting Napa. We loved the outdoor space at the house, and we were able to walk to all of our dinners. Communication was prompt and the house was very clean. It really doesn't get any better!

My family and I stayed the weekend for a wedding in the area. It was the perfect spot to relax and visit in between events. Also loved walking to Main Street in the morning for a coffee. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

The rental is in a wonderful location within walking distance to shopping and great dining. Multiple wineries are a short drive from the house. The kitchen is well stocked. There are enough dishes, cutlery, and glasses to entertain, and paper goods are plentiful throughout the house and guesthouse. Overall, the home is well laid out and beautifully appointed. All of our family enjoyed the “spool” on a daily basis.
We had a couple of questions for Carl during our stay, and he was very responsive. The welcome gift of wine was a lovely touch. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us.

This was the first property that showed for my criteria in St.Helena. I didn’t look any further. The property layout was perfect for us. Location for my sons wedding venue, perfect. Close to markets unbeatable. Walking for shopping was unstoppable!
