Very, very outdated facilities for the pretty high price in Cambodia. „Newer“ rooms have an AC that is so loud you cannot sleep with it, older ones have a normal AC but the room is just scarce. English of staff extremely bad, breakfast is neither good nor versatile. Location is mediocre, still need a tuktuk. Pool only has 3 loungers and towels are never available, also not on request. The smell of the towels is the worst I had in SE asia so far. Funny things go on like the elevator just does not stop at the 2nd floor, no one bothers. Would not necessarily recommend the place.

Hotel liegt einigermaßen im Zentrum leider muss man alle Wege mit Tuck Tuck machen bedingt durch schlechte Gehwege.

Leider waren meine Erwartungen bei diesem Hotel beim Frühstück höher nur Toastbrot kein Aufschnitt oder Käse

Great location, as far as the wide promenade with the Independence Monument just below, and proximity to many restaurants and bars. Fantastic rooftop pool and view of the city, river and main promenade. Very helpful and competent reception staff. A comfortable room, also with a great view.

The rooftop staff let this hotel down badly. I don't expect perfect English but I think a lack of it may have led to their offhand attitudes. We arrived around 10pm but the restaurant was advertised to stay open later than that. I got a meal but my partner's got lost in translation and then, when asked, was told the kitchen was closed. One morning, my partner went down for breakfast in the last hour available and the manager stood in front of him cleaning his teeth with a toothpick and watching video clips on his phone. On another occasion, the manager barreled past me into the lift when I was standing at the door in the lift waiting to get out. There was an event downstairs and large platters of fruit and sandwiches were wheeled past breakfast guests, while there was only a paltry amount of fruit available in the breakfast room. Staff were so preoccupied with moving the new furniture around that they neglected the bar and guests were left standing there, or at their tables, staring into space. All these things can be fixed by installing an experienced manager on the rooftop, one who would inspire and educate his staff.
