Riga Suites Antwerp

Our room was lovely, clean and bright. The bed was very comfortable. Tea, coffee and fridge available. Cannot fault the location for sightseeing.

I guess it was our fault in not researching the area properly but we found street noise levels at night and trying to sleep were not compatible. Perhaps there are quieter rooms but ours faced directly on to the street and caught all the noise from the bars and restaurants into the early hours and tram noise around 6am!

Location was great, conversion was lovely with the exposed beams and plenty of space. Bed really comfy. Nice tea and coffee facilities with fridge too

A bit dusty ( floor needed a bit of a sweep around and under the bed) and sink plug hole was quite blocked up).

Good location, with restaurants around as well as a short walk to most places, including the Cathedral and City Hall. There is a tram that stops close by too, which makes it easier to travel to certain places. The facilities within the room were brilliant, with a little fridge, kettle, radio, TV, and wardrobe/storage for clothes. Big desk space too. The room itself and bathroom were spacious and nicely decorated. The bathroom had towels, bathrobe, soaps and hair dryer as well as plenty of space for toiletries on the counter. There is a handy tall towel radiator in there. Sockets were conveniently placed and there were plenty of them. There is also a thermostat which you can use to alter the temperature in the room, making it both hotter and colder. Good communication too by the host, with code for doors and other important bits of information given the day before as well as day of arrival.

Certain areas were quite dusty, mainly the curtains and the floor below them. The fridge also is behind a wooden door built into the desk space. The fridge and that area could get really warm. Didn't massively make a difference to the temp of the fridge however.

Great location

The room wasn’t clean when we arrived. We had to wait for 2 hours until they cleaned the room. All the stuff of the previous visitors was still there
