The landscape and house itself do not appear to be maintained, even for a rental. The two main couches were nice however rooms were minimally/incompletely furnished. More than one bedroom lacked a nightstand and/or lamp. Doors didn't shut, there was visible damage to the walls and deck areas. The silverware, cups and plates looked like a mix n match from Good Will. The house isn't exactly dirty but it doesn't give off an appearance like someone has truly given a full cleaning in a while. The main living room windows were covered in dirt and gross. Not that I go to DCL to watch TV but the TVs were comically small which was disappointing for watching football on Sunday. I have been coming to DCL since 1995- this is by far the worst rental I have been in. For the price, I am very disappointed. I will not rent this house again.

House is located in a really good spot in the lake within minutes from WISP SKY RESORT, small supermarket, gas station, restaurants, etc Great Location! However... The house needs TLC in the outdoors. Owner needs to pay more attention with the landscaping of the property such as overgrown shrubs, it blocks the visibility from the Hot Tub to the Lake (this is a whole point for renting a house with Lake view). The steps from the bottom floor to the outside needs to be fix. There is a big tree by the left side of the lake that needs to cut down, there were plenty of mushrooms around that area (something to take in consideration if you are letting people rent house with dogs and kids) The play-set needs to be either taken down or update the picture. It is rusty and the blue tarp is broken. As for Taylor-Made management team, they were very professional and they responded quickly to our requests.

It was so close to everything you would want to do. We did some skiing and it was just a few minute drive to the slopes. The hot tub was great and the fireplaces on both levels were cozy. As others have mentioned, there were not very many kitchen supplies. The cups were mismatched and there were not plain drinking glasses. We couldn't even find a sauce pan. Fortunately, we were only there for a weekend and we were not there to cook. I could see this being an inconvenience if you booked for a full week. overall great experience though.

The parking pad is pretty steep and very close to the road, but had plenty of space for our three cars. We went skiing at Wisp and it was less than a five minute drive to get there. There's a good level of privacy because each queen bedroom is on a separate floor. We did have trouble getting hot water upstairs, so everyone ended up showering on the main floor or on the lowest level. I agree that the pots and pans have seen better days and could probably stand to be replaced. Overall, wonderful experience and I would book here again.

House did have a few maintenance issues which should have been addressed before guests stayed there. House states it sleeps 11 but it would be nice if they would have noted that two sleeping spots are in the main great room which means whomever sleeps there has no privacy. Also, one sleep spot was on pullout chair in den which was extremely uncomfortable. Also, the kitchen wasn't as well stocked as other vacation rental homes that I've been in. There are also no dressers in either upstairs bedrooms to store clothes in, only closets.

Came back to our boat waiting right in the backyard to take us out for great fishing , sight seeing, swimming and tubing. The little ones loved the play set and the cooks in our group loved the fully equipped kitchen. Grown ups ended the day stargazing from the hot tub.

Easy to get to, close to the grocery store if we needed, but still tucked away, feeling like we were settled in the middle of nowhere. With two kids (age six & one) and two dogs, the balcony became our home base (watch for splinters on little feet). The only trouble during our week was the grill wasn't working but Taylor Made brought us a new one within a day so no complaints there!

Very clean, spacious and awesome views of the lake from the backyard. The children loved sledding and playing in the snow. The only negatives are the house main entrance is way too close to the main road and with the snow covered roads so busy with traffic we were snowed in for the entire time of our visit.And the otherone is that it was dangerous for the children sledding in the backyard because it was in a decline direct to the frozen lake, no barriers to stop them, so we were very close to them all the time they were out there.Thank God we didnt have any problems or accidents. We did have issues with the dish washer and power in one of the bedrooms but the Realty sent a worker who fixed everything quickly. Excelente customer service ! Overall it was a fun,relax vacation. Reviewer Comments: Let's just say this is a nice place on the lake, but it needs a little tender care. The furniture and walls need attending, especially the couch in the Great Room. It should be thrown out. Also, all the bathrooms need to have the plumbing reworked. All toilets will only flush if you hold the handle down until it completes it cycle. The phone system does not work. There is no Sound System as advertised on the web page. Lastly, their is a serious MOLD problem in the master bathroom under the sink. It looks like someone tried to cover it up with a bathroom carpet. Gross!
