Loved the character of this upstairs unit, clean, easy checkin process, would stay again

Awesome stay The owners were very supportive, caring, friendly, and always trying to help you in anything. Finally it was a great and wonderful stay. Advice any one to try this experience.

We wanted to take a little road trip and ended up with Cleveland as the destination. Just needed a designated place to rest and wash up between adventures. The post is accurate, the renters are very kind and it was very clean. Bed and futon were comfy.

We had a nice stay. I didn’t realize that the listing didn’t have air conditioning (my fault). It would have been more comfortable with another fan, but we survived. The place was very clean. The key was a little hard to get out of the lockbox at night.

No issues anywhere. The hostess was amazing.

Great location for cyclists that are going to ride the OTET. Just 2+ miles from the start of the OTET. (We were riding South.) She was very helpful in providing places we could secure our bicycles overnight within the rental. The rental was sufficient for our needs (4 adults). No problems with anything.

Adam was prompt and pleasant when responding to my inquiry. Chris became our point of contact after that. Since we were flying in from GA and using public transit the entire trip, she gave us excellent directions to the apartment via the subway. The location is very close to the RTA Redline which makes it convenient to access all parts of the Cleveland area. (I recommend getting a weekly pass which works on all trains and buses. There is also free transportation in areas such as University Circle.) The apartment is also an easy walk to Gordon Square with an assortment of arts, entertainment and restaurants. A bit further down finds you on the shores of beautiful Lake Erie. I found it to be a pedestrian friendly area and never felt concerned walking about. The apartment itself was perfect for our needs. Plenty of cups, plates, bowls, pots, pans, etc.. for cooking meals in. They also kindly supply you with a generous starter amount of coffee and tea until you can take a stroll to the local Save-A-Lot for groceries. The short flight of stairs up to the unit might be a little narrow and steep for some but they reminded me of a place I stayed in Amsterdam. :) The apartment can be set up as a one bedroom or two bedroom unit, just let Chris know what your preference is. If you’re a bibliophile, you’ll love the very ample and eclectic assortment of books available for your reading pleasure after a long day of exploring. The apartment / house is as described, a restoration project for Adam and Chris. It’s a wonderful older home with beautiful bones. Having restored/renovated a home built in 1913 myself, I can certainly see why they invested in it. Bottom line... if you want to stay at the Ritz, please do. If you want to stay somewhere with charm and character, close to public transit, with delightful hosts that are easily accessible but not intrusive, I wouldn’t hesitate to book this property.
