We have stayed in several homes in the area and this was one of the nicest. Very comfortable furniture and beds. We had everything we needed. The only drawback was the street noise, being right on Mission Blvd. but we knew that going in. Great experience overall.

The property is everything you could wish for. Well situated for the beach and with excellent facilities. We were planning to stay a week as we are from England on our family trip of a lifetime through California. Unfortunately Hurricane Hilary disrupted our plans and we had to leave the property early. Marcy the owner could not have been more helpful or kind. She voluntarily reimbursed us for the days we lost due to leaving early and was helpful with advice as to where else we might go. Moreover before the threat of Hilary we had intended to use the BBQ but found it not working, we spoke to her and the following day a brand new BBQ arrived! Unquestionably a really great property and the very best of owners. Thank you Marcy.

We had a fantastic stay in Mission Beach! The property was exactly as described. We enjoyed the easy beach access the close proximity to so many fun activities. Marcy was wonderful to work with. She was very prompt with responses to any questions. I felt that she went out of her way to make sure we had a great stay. I would highly recommend this property and hope that we get a chance to return.

This home was the perfect stay for our trip to the San Diego area. This is a great location … just a short walk to the beach and boardwalk as well as many nearby restaurants. The home has a very nice living and dining space. Kitchen was supplied with everything you may be needing. Grocery stores are nearby so it was easy to get what we needed when we needed to make a quick breakfast or lunch or an a free excursion to nearby hiking areas. The house consisted of 2 bedrooms and bathrooms (1 king size bed and another room with a twin and queen size bed). Beds were very comfortable. Patio area is partially shaded and contained a table with umbrella and some additional chairs and grill. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio in the evenings after coming back to the house after watching the evening sunsets. Parking spaces are tight but that is just how it is in that area. Host was wonderful. After booking she reached out and kept in contact and checked in with us prior to our arrival. Did have to reach out to host due to battery starting to fail on door lock and Marcy was quick to assist. Will define rebook next time we visit!

Our host was the best host ever! She was attenative, helpful and completely transparent with the process of renting her charming house. The house was in walking distance to the grocery store, various restaurants and of course, the beach. We would highly recommend staying here for your time in San Diego.

The place is just as described. The host is accommodating and easy to communicate with. We had a fabulous time.

This was a lovely property, if we were not out exploring San Diego we were sitting in the perfect weather on the perfect patio in the most adorable cluster of vacation homes. Will definitely be back!

Loved the front garden and patio. Comfortable for 4 people. The full/queen bed is tight for 2 adults. Enjoyed the location which was close to everything. As other reviewers have said, it is right on Mission Boulevard. Marcy was a wonderful host.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay in Mission Beach! Mary made sure we arrived and was very accommodating. My family (kids aged 14 and 12) loved walking the beach and the paved waterfront area. We also loved how close the house was to everything. We would walk to restaurants that Mary recommended and we loved that the ocean and bay were so close. House was clean and has everything you need! I highly recommend!😀

This lovely property was well equipped, and in a nice location. We walked to the beach, restaurants, and grocery store, and had no problem getting ride shares to the San Diego attractions. Communication with the owner was great, and she was very accommodating. Highly recommend!

We had a terrific long weekend at this property in San Diego. The house is so close to the boardwalk and Mission Beach and is in a great central location for exploring the rest of the San Diego area. The house itself is well-stocked and comfortable and the two parking spaces are invaluable. Marcy could not be a better host, with outstanding communication throughout the rental process and excellent dining and activity recommendations. Highly recommended for anyone visiting San Diego!

It’s a tight squeeze into the parking space but we were out & about all the time: Hotel del Coronado, walking up & down Mission Beach, Midway tour, SEAL Duck Tour, got a massage at Mellow just down the road. Got food twice from World Famous restaurant. The huge waves at the beach were soothing to our souls.

My wife, friends and I stayed here for three nights and it was a great stay. Very clean and although it is located just off of a main street it was quiet. Well appointed, clean and taken care of. Parking is acceptable but I would not bring a big pickup truck. That is par for the course in this particular area. There are a lot of options for eating within walking distance. The location is central and it's easy to get to I-5 or I-8 to get anywhere in the city. In the summer it would be a great place with Mission Bay and the Pacific both within a couple hundred yards. Very highly recommended.

Brought my two granddaughters from Michigan for spring break. They loved it. They played tennis, swam in the ocean, and shopped. Very clean place. Beds were comfortable and sheets were top quality. It was on the chilly side so we were able to use fireplace and it was so cozy. Would highly recommend this place!

Cottage feel with a beautiful patio. A block to the ocean and a block to the bay. Everything you need within walking distance. Owner was very helpful.

As seasoned Zonies, our family has been visiting San Diego for decades. We've have multiple home bases while enjoying everything the city has to offer from museums and restaurants to beaches and boardwalks. This was our first time at this rental and it was perfect for our small group. Although it's right on (RIGHT ON) Mission Boulevard, it wasn't as noisy as I thought it would be. Yes, there is some noise, but we were so tired at night after fun-filled days it didn't really matter. Other reviewers have commented about the parking and I have to agree, it is rather tight. Interestingly, one's ability to park (at least in our case) depends on the parking skills of those in the adjacent spots. There were a couple of nights when a "neighbor" overlapped into our space a bit. Oh, well. Welcome to Mission Beach. It was great to walk across the street to the ocean. And because it was late October, we practically had the beach to ourselves. The rental was comfortable, clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. Although we didn't need much. The whole purpose of vacation is also a vacation from cooking, right? The only surprise here was in paying for the reservation. Unlike other VRBO's we have rented, this one required all fees to be paid for at the time of booking. I kinda like just putting down a partial deposit and then paying the remainder later. All things considered, this rental will remain on my VRBO board for future trips.

My 13 year old daughter, her friend, her mom and I all had a fabulous stay at this VRBO. It was the perfect size for the four of us. The house is stocked with everything you would need. We appreciated the beach towels and ice packs for the day we did a picnic on the beach. The beds were comfortable and the fans were helpful for the warmer days. Marcy’s communication was excellent. We would stay here again!

We stayed, with our adult son, at the house for a family wedding. The house is very nicely decorated and it is cozy yet has everything you could want and is faultlessly clean and neat. Marcie, our host, was easy to communicate with and the check-in was a breeze. The house is on a mews like court with a sweet little patio in the front for outdoor dining and relaxing A very short walk to either the ocean or bay as well as a variety of restaurants. All in all, a great stay.

Very cute little place on the corner with a nice private patio just literally minutes from water weather you want to head to the Bay or to the Pacific Ocean and boardwalk. Nice and clean and had just about everything you need except an air conditioner it was kinda stuffy and the ceiling fan/ fan just wasn’t doing it for us. Also it was nice having your own parking spot! Great little place and location with lots to do. 😌

We spent a lovely small family Christmas at the beach in this adorable and well-equipped cottage. Short walk to beach, bay, and plenty of shops and restaurants. Would absolutely stay here again!

The location is great close to the beach, bay, Belmont and PB. The kitchen is pretty well stocked with pans and the patio was great to enjoy meals on. The two downsides would be the lack of AC and no noise on the patio after 10. We opened windows and had fans but still seemed a bit stuffy. We were typically in bed before 10 because of busy days but it’s important to note if you are a night owl or have one in your family. The host did communicate well.

Enjoyed a delightful mini vacation at this cozy little house. So convenient to the bay, the ocean, restaurants and shops. Thank you for sharing your beach house with us.
