Ein schönes, geräumiges Haus mit zwei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern auf einem besonders großen Grundstück für Privatsphäre. Im Obstgartenviertel mit altem Baumbestand und moderner Landschaftsgestaltung. Open airy Grundriss, einstöckig, große Fenster, Gaskamin, Waschmaschine / Trockner Waschküche, große Garage für zwei Autos, Wohnmobilstellplatz. Die Schlafzimmer verfügen über neue luxuriöse Queensize-Betten in einem ruhigen Teil des Hauses. Die Küche ist hell und authentisch im Retro-Stil der Mitte des Jahrhunderts mit eingebautem Backofen und Herd, Eckspüle und neuen Theken aus den späten 1950er Jahren. Das Master-Bad verfügt über ein originales Doppelwaschbecken und eine geschlossene Badewanne / Dusche. Das Haus verfügt auch über ein Arbeitszimmer / Büro, ein angeschlossenes Solarium, eine Hydronik-Heizleiste, Warmwasser nach Bedarf und komplett neue Fußböden. Die Möbel und das Dekor aus der Mitte des Jahrhunderts sind einladend und sorgen für eine coole Atmosphäre mit eingebauter Valenzstimmung. Mt. Bachelor-Ansicht, ein paar Blocks vom Hollinshead Park, dem Orchard Park, dem Juniper Pool und dem Fitnesscenter, Märkten, Geschäften und Restaurants entfernt. 1 Meile zum Fluss Deschutes und Weltklasse-Angeln und Kajakfahren und Golf. 40 km zum Skigebiet Mt Bachelor und zum Cascade Lakes Highway. 1 Meile in die Innenstadt mit, Theater und Kneipen und gehobene Küche. 24 km vom Flughafen Redmond entfernt.

Great location for downtown and river outings, as well as day trips. Comfortable and clean and sitting areas inside and out for all to sit back and enjoy!

This place is a gem! A perfectly curated time capsule from the 1950’s. We loved every minute. We had deer in the back yard every night. As a city guy that was pretty magical. I would come back to this place again and again. Maybe the best vacation rental I have had. Can I give it 6 stars? Everything was so easy. Simply delightful!

Dan’s place is awesome. Every little detail is thought through for his guests comfortable stay. I usually take a day or so to feel comfortable in rentals but I instantly felt at home. Very clean home that is obviously well-cared for. I appreciated the nightlights everywhere! We have young kids and we travel with nightlights but didn’t need them this stay. Location is perfect too. We played the game of Life from 1991, which is a much better version than what we have now! Lots of fun and everything we needed for our favourite city in Oregon. Thanks again!

We are two couples who came to Bend for the weekend to enjoy the James Taylor concert. This house was perfect for us. The mid-century modern vibe was outstanding. Every detail is captured. recognized many items from our own childhood homes. Owner knew we were there for the James Taylor concert and provide two records of his for the turntable. Communication was easy and quick. Home had everything we needed for a successful trip. Location was very convenient for us. If you’re looking for high end, super updated, this is not for you. But if you enjoy an authentic experience in a clean home where everything works, you should stay here. Great home. Great location. Great hosts.

Historically interesting and a good stroll down memory lane for those of us 50+. Very clean and comfortable. Well stocked and a very helpful and accomodating owner. The many period books and decor items were a trigger for one of us who is super-sensitive to dust allergens, but even with that, it would be worth another stay.

A unique abode in a great location. Close to everything with plenty of room. Ample supplies of hand soap, dish soap, laundry soap, TP, tissue, napkins, and coffee provided. The only misstep was the second shower. It had some black spots along the bottom. Overall, great place to stay.

Our stay could not be more perfect for our first time in Bend. This house is a true gem, decorated with thoughtful touches and offering a real throw back to the mid-century. The home was equipped with everything we needed during our stay, including a pack n' play for our baby! We loved our time here and look forward to making a return.

This is a lovingly furnished “vintage” house with every detail you would expect from the 50’s with some early 60’s, two of our group felt they were reliving their childhoods through the decor! The house is cozy, very comfortable and well located - near the butte and a quick drive from downtown. There is a nearby park for walks and deer families in the backyard. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and very accommodating- thanks Daniel! We would return any time.

This was our second stay at Jones Roadhouse and we loved it again! The location is great, the house is spacious, comfortable, and well kept. We loved being able to eat and work out front or in the greenhouse area. Owners are friendly and responsive. Highly recommend it.

What's not to like about this wonderful mid-century modern home. The house itself was so authentic for the time period and was super clean. The owners were amazingly friendly and very thoughtful. Bonus was, we got to meet the owner before we left. Super nice. We will definitely be staying again if we return to the Bend area.

Impressive, impressive and impressive. This beautiful mid century home is more than what was expected. I felt like I had entered “The Twilight Zone”. Everything is 1950-60’s perfect. It was like walking back into my childhood home. And in addition to that, the owner was retroactive regarding an incoming heat wave by installing additional window air conditioners to ensure we would be comfortable. And if that wasn’t enough the homes location is just minutes from everything in Bend. We will definitely be back.

The house is comfortable, quiet and clean. It is wonderfully decorated full of 1950-1960 memorabilia. We loved playing old records on the turntable! There were fun board games too! The kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. (There is no dishwasher but it didn’t matter to us) The house easily accommodated my extended family of 10 for dinner. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spacious. The garage was great to have. The location is fantastic. We walked to Pilot Butte park and up to the top. Spectacular views! The owner was easily available and checked to see how we were doing. We really didn’t need him for anything though- everything was very clear! We would definitely stay here again.

A Step Through Time
This property is a very well thought out, comfortable, livable art project that will catapult you to another place and time. We rented this place because of the location because it is right around the corner from where my sister lives. But we were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived. There was nothing missing - owners have thought of everything. And the carefully placed gems from the past that draw you back to another place and time make staying here more of an experience than a visit. We will stay here again next time we are in Bend. Highly recommend!

Great house, lots of fun!
The owners have done such a great job with this house. So many treasures to be found! The location is super convenient, particularly for people like us who were exploring all of what central Oregon has to offer, not just downtown Bend. But even that is only a 10 minute drive. Very nice experience!

If you are not old enough, ask your parents about the home they grew up in. It was quite amazing with the old books, records, magazines, appliances. With that said, everything was upgraded and worked just fine. Internet too slow and cable tv didn't work, but hey, we were in Bend and mostly went out and hiked.
