Very nice place with lovely amenities, nice views, and plentiful walking trails. Fall color wasn't so good this year. Oh well.

Group of 7 friends staying over a weekend to ski at Stowe. Driving in and out was icy but doable for 4x4 vehicles. Spot was amazing overall. Bed's weren't super comfy for the bunk room, but they were doable. Master bed had a rattle in the radiator that they should look at.

8 adult friends, loved the 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom house. Great gathering areas, screen porch, big table, outdoor patio. Was a delightful stay!

Overall the property was exactly what we all were expecting.. even the water situation we were expecting due to the comments but.. finding the property is a pain!!! It’s not even the correct road name or the correct number.. the stairs were extremely slippery and caked in ice as was the walkway and the heater in the basement broke on the first night leaving everyone down there absolutely frozen! Also for the price we paid it almost seems like a rip off considering the check in and check out times were outrageous check in at 4 and out at 10 we basically got one day at the house for about 1300k. Absolutely ridiculous. Overall very nice house but they definitely need to sort some stuff out

This place was amazing. It was aesthetically beautiful but also just felt solidly built, inside and out. It was a thoroughly modern cabin, It was also much bigger than it seemed. Hot tub right outside was amazing. Three bathrooms was clutch. Couldn’t recommend it more.

The house was an awesome lodge with a cozy feel. It fit us all perfectly and we loved the openness of the living room and kitchen. The hot tub was our favorite part after shredding hard all day. The queen beds were comfortable but not so much the bunks. And we did have some issues with the oven and the boiler. Calling Vacasa to resolve these issues was simple and they sent someone out quickly. I would rent this house again if the oven and boiler were working efficiently. Bring your own blue tooth speakers tho! The entertainment system is older (CD’s). There’s a TV downstairs and a stereo system but the main floor doesn’t have any entertainment systems so play games and talk! That’s what we did.

The water certainly does REEK!

What a great house! We stayed four nights and had 8 people. The house was spacious, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. The water had a sulphur like smell, so bring bottled water.
MUDROOM
The huge mudroom was awesome to have for everyone to remove their ski gear and hang everything up. We closed the door and didn't have to look at a pile of jackets and ski boots in a corner.
KITCHEN
The kitchen was big and had most of the basics and some extras. A new Sponge and dish soap, 3 dishwasher soap tablets, one roll of paper towels were provided. Only one dish towel, so bring a few if you think you'll need it. We did a lot of cooking because for us it was easier with the kids. Our biggest complaint was that the oven did not always work. A pan of brownies was still liquid after an hour in the oven. The broiler did not heat up either. We made do with the stove top but not having a reliable oven was a definite con for us. The toaster was also not great, which was annoying for the kids when they wanted something toasted. Other than that, there were plenty of pots and pans, baking sheets, measuring cups, etc. Dishes, bowls, mugs and glasses were plentiful. Also some containers if you need for leftovers. The microwave mysteriously shut off the morning we left but was fine during the stay otherwise. Don't leave food out on the counter, we had mouse droppings in the box of NutriGrain bars and one chewed up. (To be expected I guess out in the woods!)
BEDROOMS/BATHROOMS
Two bedrooms with queen beds on the first floor, big closets, extra blankets and plenty of towels (kinda small). Full bath on first floor with mini toiletries was a nice touch.
Big bedroom upstairs with 3/4 bath and sitting area was nice. One of the kids liked to sit up there and watch his videos.
Downstairs bedroom with 4 bunk beds was awesome for the kids. They loved it but said the beds weren't that comfortable. They all slept though so I take that for what it is. They loved the living room with smart TV and hung out down there together, which was great for the adults!
Full bathroom down here too with shelves for everyone's stuff.
LAUNDRY ROOM
Big laundry room with a basket and drying rack. Found a bottle of Tide there too, should one be inclined to do a load.
OUTSIDE
Beautiful short hike took us to a little bench where you look through the trees and some gorgeous scenery. Snow shoes available which we tried out and were fun! But the shining star was the jacuzzi tub! It was clean and worked perfectly. We spent several hours in it while the snow was falling. Everyone lived it and it was the highlight of the stay at the house.
In all, we had a fabulous time and would return. I gave the house 4 stars because of the oven not working but if you're not cooking then 5 stars!
Some tips...
Bring towels for the hot tub. The ones provided are small.
The grill did not have any propane in the tank so we weren't able to use it.
Bring matches for the wood stove, there were only 2 in the box left.
If you're picky about your pillow, bring one. Feather pillows are on the beds and I slept terribly because of it but I didn't let it ruin my experience.
Bring your bathing suit! The hot tub is not to miss.

We had a great stay! The house was exactly what we were looking for. It snowed about 18” and the road and driveway were plowed and sidewalk was shoveled before we even woke up and very well maintained during our stay! Thank you for sharing your plan e with us!

My friends and I take a big trip every year somewhere to go snowboarding. We went to Stowe and our stay here was fantastic! The mud room was super convenient and the hot tub was perfect after a day on the slopes. Plenty of space for all of us and 3 full baths gave everyone plenty of privacy! 10/10! Just make sure to read the arrival directions carefully! It can be a bit confusing

Great house in a fantastic location. Felt like you were in the middle of nowhere but town was only about 10 mins away. Commute to Stowe mountain was super easy and only took 25-30mins. I would give it 5 stars but the water quality was awful. Couldn't drink the water due to the smell and showering was out of the question even after letting the water run for 10+ mins. Still an overwhelming sulfur smell. I've come across this before up in the mountains of VT and upstate NY but never as bad as this. Just make sure you bring plenty of bottled water with you.

We booked this stay for 10 people in our family for a ski vacation the week after Christmas, and couldn’t wait for our trip to Vermont.
Upon arrival, the housekeeping supervisor was there correcting what wasn’t done by the cleaning crew after the last guests departed. I was impressed she had checked/stayed late to fix things. She was friendly, personal, & apologetic, and said if there was anything that we needed during our stay just to call the 800# to Vacasa & they’d ensure everything was taken care of. Unfortunately, in the busyness of our arrival, I didn’t check to ensure everything was stocked or working correctly while she was still there.
We quickly realized that there was no sponge to do dishes, only two kitchen trash bags for 10 people for six nights, & no dishwasher detergent. These are basics that a home should come stocked with when renting from a national property management company.
We also discovered within an hour of our arrival that we had no working internet. Since there is no cell service, working internet was a must for us and the home was advertised to have WiFi. Without internet, we were also completely unable to research or plan our next day’s activities in the evenings.
Additionally, the only TV in the home is a smart TV with no cable/satellite service, so with no internet the TV is useless. Though we didn’t plan to watch much TV while on a ski vacation, this meant we were unable to unwind with a movie at night for the kids, or watch the ball drop on New Year’s Eve.
We went into town for a phone signal the first night to call Vacasa right away. We were assured they would contact the local property manager & the owner, & that it would be restored. We never heard back. Called 2x each day on day 2, 3, 4, & 5. On most calls, we sat on hold for 10-20 minutes waiting to speak to a representative, and still nothing. Just that they’ve been in touch with the local property manager and he’d call us. No one ever called, emailed, or texted back during our stay with a single update. Needless to say, we went the whole week w/no internet or TV service.
The complete lack of follow through or communication back to the customer from Vacasa, despite multiple promises to do so, was appalling.
If I were the owner of this home I’d be switching property management companies immediately due to this completely unacceptable service.
I will never rent a home managed by this company again, and will never recommend them to anyone.

My sisters and I hadn’t gotten together in at least four years, so decided to rent out the house/cabin.It was nice to have separate bedrooms and bathrooms for us,the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans to cook there with.We did a little sightseeing but our favorite day was when we stayed there and explored the marked trail through the woods out back, played games and laughed. We now want to make it a tradition to stay there together!

Great lacrosse weekend
We had a great time staying with a few families for a lacrosse tournament in Stowe. Unfortunately the weather was in the high 90s and the house has no air conditioning, only fans. Although we still had fun this made it a little uncomfortable. House was a bit hard to find even once we got up the hill. 4 th house on right with garage in front would have been a good help. We loved the interior of the house. Very nice layout and comfortable.....all the comforts of home. Outside could use some manicuring. So peaceful if looking for a quiet retreat. Would be excellent in the Fall!! Clean and nice linens provided. Would recommend.
