This was perfect for us. Easy to get around from here and it was plenty of room for a couple. We were basically there to sleep and shower.

Stayed for 3 nights with a friend and it was the perfect spot for the price and location! Seems tucked away but convenient to some great local shops and a 2 minute drive from a beautiful lake called Beaver lake! 10 minutes from downtown Asheville! Very clean and comfortable and felt very safe and the whole check in and out process is easy! Highly recommend this area if you want to be close to all the major attractions!

This is a motel room turned into a suite. No front or back patio area. Back was a gravel parking lot and front was the motel parking lot. 100 feet off of busy road. Loud road noise. Only provided 1 extremely thin pillow per person. There was a hole in the ceiling over the bed plugged with a rag or cotton. Shower had no support under and felt like you could bust thru if you stood in the middle. There were no towels. Host purchased some and left the walmart bag of towels at our door with all the tags on them and not previously washed. The ironing board had no cover, just the metal holes. The paint is chipping off of the walls and windows. Under the sink was filth from prior garbage missing the trash can. In all, worst rental I ever stayed in. Asked for a refund for 2 of the 6 days since we could not stay one more day and the owner denied our request. I had to pay to go to a much better place. I took several pictures of the condition of the unit.

My wife and I were in Asheville for a conference and this was the perfect place for us! It was incredibly clean and comfortable and had great access to the highway. Looking forward to staying here again in the future!

Being on Merrimon was very easy to get to their house as well as downtown Asheville

We loved staying here! The apartment is spacious and clean and Patrick was really communicative and helpful. Downtown Asheville was just a quick 10 minute drive away which made it easy to drive or take a Lyft to check out the nightlife. We’d definitely stay here again!

The lodge was very clean and recently renovated, so that part of the experience was great. But the listing did not inform us that it was at the end of a small business center and also on a fairly busy road. It was not a lake lodge like the name implies. Once the businesses were closed, our car was the ONLY one in the parking lot, which left us feeling somewhat vulnerable. Also difficult to sleep due to the lack of darkening curtains and cars driving by frequently. Communication with the host was great.

Overall good, however, there weren't enough dishes and you could hear everything through the walls, even quiet conversations next door.

This was an excellent property very clean great response time from property owner when I had a question. Kitchen is well supplied with just about anything you need to prepare a meal. A little off the beaten path but within 10 min of any necessity and a 20 min drive to the parkway or down town five stars in my book

Everything was fine. The only thing I would suggest is to put anti slip bath mat or tape in the basin of the shower.

Property was perfect for two people. Close to downtown and well stocked.

My partner and I stayed here for a couple nights while traveling. It was very nice, clean and affordable. Has a fully furnished kitchen and bedroom. Bathroom and shower were also clean and easily accessible. The location was also very convenient, with lots of gas stations, stores and food stops nearby. 10/10 would recommend this place for any couple or individual.

This location was close to all the Ashville fun. It is close to groceries, shopping and Trader Joes., The manager was very helpful. I would love to stay here again ! Highly recommend it.

There were no issues

This place was a great weekend get away place for my partner and I while in Asheville. Clean, spacious, and real close to everything we were doing!

We were really happy with the location/cost ratio. It was literally only like 7 mins from downtown. Not a place to stay if you want to go out and walk around through a neighborhood or park from the hotel, but convenient by car. It’s nothing special or fancy, met minimum expectations, but can’t beat the price.

Decent amenities great location

This property was in a good location on the outskirts of town. Very easy access to downtown Ashville. The apartment was very clean and cozy for our short stay.

My fiancé and I had a great experience. The location was nice and closer to Beaver Lake and to a lot of amenities in North Asheville. As others mentioned you can hear some traffic noise but it’s really not bad. The location is very nice and has everything you need. Would definitely recommend.

Although i can't rate this place 100 i still consider it excellent for what we paid. So in most cases you get what you pay for this is why i did not complain during my stay. I am very funny about where i stay so for those people who definitely have preference this review is for you. The sheets were dark colored, very cute and comfy but I typically prefer white sheets so I can see what, if anything, is on them. It was clean but not spick and span. The toilet still had urine stains in the crevices, there was a used bar of dove in the shower along with the soap scum that wasnt cleaned and there were only 2 wash cloths for 2 people with a 2 night stay AND the thing that bothered me the most was the unclean white wash cloth. There was a dark cloth and a white cloth. The white cloth should have been discarded before the next rental. You could smell it and tell it was clean but it had stains on it. The unit is connected to store fronts and its fairly close to the road but that didnt bother me. We were there on a weekend and the stores didnt look frequented so the lot wasn't busy at all. The location was super! We had friends that stayed downtown and we were only 8 mins from them. So overall the spot was comfy, had a very convenient location and at a very decent price.

The property had all we needed for a short stay in Asheville. The only issue I would say is the WiFi, we couldn’t find the network sent to us. I do recommend this location though!

This property needs an overall deep clean. Dirt in all the corners spiders the size of nickels. Lost the remote for the TV in the couch , when pulled the cushions there was years of dirt. Needs a deal clean. Has potential. Location is busy lots of road noise.

Property was great and Patrick made the process easy. Accidentally left our Netflix logged after we left and Patrick was more than willing to go log us out. Recommend this as a place to stay.

Great price and location, less than 15 minute drive to downtown Asheville. Unit was clean and stocked with the basic necessities we needed for a short weekend trip.
