Carpinteria ... vielleicht ist es nicht wirklich das Land, das diese Zeit vergessen hat, aber es braucht nicht viel Zeit, um das Gefühl zu haben, dass Sie aus Ihrer Kindheit in den Urlaub zurückgekehrt sind. Die Tage am Strand sind lang und faul, und milde Nächte werden durch Spaziergänge auf und ab der Hauptstraße belebt. Hier kann man ein Eis kaufen, einen Schaufensterbummel machen oder einfach nur zuschauen, wie andere vorbei schlendern. Es gibt eine Vielzahl lokaler Restaurants, aber keine große Kette in Sicht (außer natürlich Fast Food), und wenn Sie lange draußen bleiben möchten, wird in der Nähe normalerweise Live-Musik gespielt.
Wir haben ein komfortables, gut ausgestattetes Stadthaus mit hübschem Stranddekor. Es ist der perfekte Ort für einen erholsamen Urlaub. Neu - dieses Jahr - ein Flachbildfernseher! Wir hoffen, dass Sie die Natur genießen, aber wenn Ihr Lieblingssportereignis oder etwas anderes ansteht, ist die Anzeige erheblich verbessert. Das Hotel liegt nur zwei Häuserblocks von fast allem entfernt und ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Strand und dem Naturschutzgebiet in die eine und den Geschäften und Restaurants in der Linden Avenue in die andere Richtung entfernt. Obwohl es das Gerücht gibt, der alte Bahnhof zu sein, dreht sich im heutigen Dorrance Depot R & R alles um Erholung und Entspannung. Einheit b, ein geräumiges, zweistöckiges Strandreihenhaus, verfügt über drei Schlafzimmer und 1,5 Bäder, mit einem großen und offenen Wohn- und Essbereich. Die große private Terrasse verbindet das Innere mit dem Äußeren und trägt zu den Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten bei. Das Haus ist komplett mit Küche, Bad und Bettwäsche ausgestattet und verfügt über eine Garage für 2 Autos

Fantastic & relaxing beach home
We just got back from spending a week at this great townhome. The location was perfect- just a few blocks from the beach and the cute shopping area. We didn’t use our cars all week because we could walk or bike everywhere. The home was clean and comfortable, had everything we needed to cook all of our meals. It is definitely larger than it looks in the pictures with a big, open downstairs and 3 bright, comfortable rooms upstairs. The back patio is also large and a great place to hang out, with a charcoal grill and fire pit. We could store all of our bikes and beach things in the garage which was great! Any questions that I had were immediately answered by Kathy- she was always available and so easy to deal with. I highly recommend this property and will definitely be back!

This was a wonderful place to stay! Close to everything! We walked to beach, breweries, and restaurants.
The townhouse was very comfortable and cute. We loved the decor! It had everything we needed except sunscreen! I plan on returning next year with the family! It is a great place to make memories!

This continues to be our chosen location for an unwinding vacation that isn't too far from home and yet a world apart. This is a great location in a sleepy coastal town that requires no vehicle to get around to the beach, stores and entertainment, including local breweries. We use it whenever we can and the size is perfect for those visiting family members and friends. We have been vacationing her enough that we feel like locals for our couple of weeks of decompression.

This continues to be our chosen location for an unwinding vacation that isn't too far from home and yet a world apart. This is a great location in a sleepy coastal town that requires no vehicle to get around to the beach, stores and entertainment, including local breweries. Very lovely beach house (- or condo). Plenty of room for 6 adults. Cozy little back yard/patio area. Easy access to the beach and town – and Thursday’s Farmer’s Market. Convenient location - lots of nature in the area even shopping if that's on your to-do-list
The not so positive:
- the kitchen equipment was a bit lacking, there are plates, glasses and mugs for one meal - for dinner there is ONE big pot (- for pasta sauce, but we'd have to cook pasta for 2 and 2 and 2 - in a very small pot)
- the trundle bed, if you can call that a bed, was horrible. It was more like sleeping on a board, I like a firm mattress but after a week on this one you’ll need a very good chiropractor.
I really don’t like to be a “Negative Nancy” – but I feel that these issues are easy fixes – a little trip to Ikea could fix it all!
We would rent again – if you get a new mattress! : )

What a great place! It was much larger than we expected. 2 big rooms up stairs and another that sleeps 2. Downstairs is huge and comfortable too.
The patio is great and furnished with a table and chairs, 2 umbrellas and recliners. There's a fire pit out there and a grill.
There were beach chairs and 2 boogie boards in the garage. All you need to bring are beach towels and sunscreen.
