The property was everything it said and more! Comfy beds, lovely linens, plenty of space, multiple balconies with great views, a sturdy porch swing and a well-equipped kitchen for family meal preparation. The booking and check-in processes were great, communication was prompt and friendly. We had a great time!

Excellent location - 2 minute walk to 12th street beach access. Property as advertised. House is spacious- we were 4 adults and a cat. The three bedrooms gave everyone ample of space to everyone. Living area is comfortable. House was cleaned very well and host is extremely responsive. They are nice enough to send back wall charger left in the house. Only reason not to give 5 stars is that the upper floor is a bit dated.

Our three month stay in Folly Beach was a most relaxing and social time this winter. The home is just as pictured in the photos. It was comfortable and the main floor open concept met our needs for living space and entertaining. The bedrooms upstairs had their own master bathrooms. If anything was a little let down, it was the cleanliness. Some walls are scuffed, utensil and pan drawers were dirty, the carpets were not clean. However, when we asked Sarita to help us, she immediately had the carpets cleaned. She was an ideal property manager. The water heater broke and water cascaded into the first floor. Sarita had the plumbers out the next day and repairs were made. The home sits high and there are numerous steps to climb, from the street and up the stairs. This was not a problem for us, but might be. Not much of a yard, all dirt...but we didn't use it except in the backyard for our dog. the furniture, especially the beds, were comfortable. The home is a 2 and 1/2 minute walk to the beach. Ideal for getting the dog out for a long walk. Ideal for just sitting and reading while the ocean curled in. It would be nice to have some non-rusty chairs to take to the beach, but we bought our own. Having three patio/decks overlooking the marsh was a treat. We were there in the winter months so the daylight sunshine hours on the decks were limited. Folly Beach is a quaint town with lots of options for eating out. Also, the trip to Charleston is an easy 8 mile drive and Charleston has fantastic restaurants, local theater, and some good music lounges, like Forte. Overall, our three months sped by. The neighborhood was very walkable, only 1.5 miles to downtown Folly Beach. Lots of different streets to wander. The bikes made traveling to Folly Beach much easier. Loved the new Pier which opened while we were there. Sarita is an ideal host. Always responsive to our needs and was invested in making our extended stay comfortable. The kitchen could use some more equipment. We had our own coffee grinder and there were probably not enough glasses, cocktail, wine and drinking. A couple of lights need to be rewired and I would like to see some lights out back, especially for taking our dog out to do her thing. We couldn't have been more content and satisfied with the home, the management, and especially the location and definitely home to return next year for another extended stay. Quick walk to the beach (two short blocks), short drive to downtown Folly (3 minutes) and easy drive (20-30 minutes) to downtown Charleston. House had enough kitchen amenities to make meals. Each bedroom has a private balcony that overlooks the marsh.

Beautiful views of the marsh with a very short walk to the beach access, beautiful views of the sunset over the marsh and river, and a quiet place to relax and rewind. The best part is that we could bring our 4-pawed family member, and the neighbors were very friendly. If a beachfront view isn't necessary, this is the perfect location. We loved being there and can't wait to return.

Sarita was a great host. Communication was great. Location is away from the downtown scene which keeps things quiet, but close enough for a short ride into town on a golf cart or bikes. Super easy walk to the beach, just two blocks. It’s right at the end of a quiet street. The marsh views were spectacular. The listing is accurate. It’s an older home that is dog friendly. Beds were comfortable and plenty of room to lounge. The only negative and reason for the 4 star was the kitchen needed a little deep clean, and the yard some clean up for safety concerns for kids and pets, but the host was made aware and very receptive to those suggestions. All in all we would totally stay here again. Great house and great value. Thanks Sarita!

I grew up in Charleston, and visiting Folly many times every summer. The location of this home is perfect for any family looking to enjoy all the wonder of the beach . . .while avoiding the the hustle. No crowds. No commercialism. No traffic. Just beach and privacy. Leave your front door, and you're on the sand in (literally) five minutes. Making a big deal about the basement's condition is pretty crazy. There's no need to go there, ever. If it bothers you, just stay in the house itself. It's cute, comfortable and cozy. We're already considering booking it again for next summer. Thanks for a great stay!

My husband and I stayed here for a week with my parents and two dogs. The house is huge and is beautiful. We were able to find everything that we needed to feel at home. The backyard was also very nice for our dogs to play in. The house is super close to the beach access and is close to town! The host is also very accommodating and personable. We will definitely be coming back!

The location is quiet and close to the beach and about 10 blocks from the central restaurant and shop area. The interior of the house is relatively clean but very worn and in need of basic maintenance and updated furnishings. The beds are comfortable and the house is spacious for Folly. The exterior of the house and the garage are very messy, cluttered and not maintained. It would be nice to have some grass in the yard and have the weeds along the marsh cut to allow for a better view. Without a doubt the biggest detraction is the downstairs that is cluttered with all sorts of junk, including an old car, and is simply filthy. All of this being said, the owner is very kind and accommodating. If you are looking for a spacious rental for a reasonable price at Folly and are okay making a few trade-offs then this place is not a bad choice.

Place definitely could benefit from some updates, but it was also way more affordable than anything else we were looking at in Folly. Location is perfect and Sarita was kind and great to work with.

Our family stayed here for almost a week over Thanksgiving 2021, and enjoyed it thoroughly. It’s a fabulous house on a very quiet part of Folly, with a peaceful marsh view and a short walk to the beach. The kitchen was well-equipped for holiday cooking, with surprisingly well-stocked cupboards. The house is gorgeous, and set up nicely. Sarita was a great host, and very flexible. We’ll be back!

There is a nice downtown with many good restaurants. The beach is very nice and is a place where surfers can be seen riding the waves. I rented this house with a few friends and we were blown away! Everything was clean and comfortable. The house was very large and had wonderful views off the back porches. The walk to the beach was very short and easy. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the area!
