Enjoyed being so close to uptown. Walking distance to bars and restaurants.

Myself and 3 friends stayed here for a few nights while visiting Minneapolis for a Vikings game. The location was a short ride to downtown for the game but we were just a short walk to several amazing restaurants and bars to keep us entertained. The house had two showers which was great for 4 adults and plenty of sleeping space. The kitchen had all that could be needed. The host was quick to respond to any questions. Thanks for letting us stay during our visit!

East check in. Four bedrooms were a huge plus. Very clean.

We stayed on what was a very hot week for Minneapolis. The upstairs bedrooms have window a/c the rest of the house does not which leaves the downstairs bedroom quite warm one of the window units wasnt working when we got there but they did replace it the next day. Their was a dvd player but no hdmi cable. There were many games but only a couple had enough parts to actually play them. The location was good, we had about a 15 minute drive to most things we wanted to do. The house was also clean.

Sleeps 14. It's a tight squeeze but clean, plenty of linens, and comfortable. The location is great, close to lots of places to eat.

The kitchen and other amenities were well stocked. Felt like home. Enjoyed the Victorian style home and rooms. Safe neighborhood which was close to grocery and other shopping. Street parking was available and appreciated private park in back. Very nice and enjoyable.

Cute older home was perfect for family to meet up during weekend graduation activities. Kitchen had all we needed, lots of space to relax, more than enough rooms and beds for sleeping arrangements. Unique and comfortable!!

The property was everything promised. It was very cozy with plenty of beds to choose from. With it being cold out, the house was very comfortable and warm. We really enjoyed the location as it was very close to many eating/drinking establishments. The only issue we had was getting the front door locked/unlocked so we used the back entrance mostly. We notified the property owners and I'm sure they will take care of it. We plan to return next year and we would definitely stay here again.

The house was extremely nice, more roomy than what we thought it was going be with a group of 8! Property Manager was easy to get in contact with and was always available!

The sidewalk leading up to the porch had just been laid with fresh cement. The workmen & women were back the following morning before 7:30 with enormous road equipment. The noise was very disturbing. The kitchen wasn’t clean. Old pop cans under the heat radiator? Could have used more paper towels. The back yard & deck needs some attention. The back gate isn’t easy to open from the alley.

Overall it was a good stay in a cute older house. Everything we needed was there. It was a good location for us as my daughter lives nearby. It is not a quiet location. Beds were good except for the mattress in the furthest room upstairs.

MN girls trip
The place was just as the listing stated, of course it’s an older house so you’ve got radiators and creaky stairs. I will admit, staying here during the winter wasn’t ideal just having to deal with all the parking/plowing. This would be an amazing stay in the summer or spring, so many great things around and the restaurants around were 10/10. There were a couple nails sticking out so hopefully that’s taken care of, as well as the upstairs bathroom window..it’s supposed to be frosted but I was still weary when in front of it especially, when getting out of the shower. All in all, I’d come back hopefully when it’s warm again! :)

Nice older house in pretty good shape with a good number of bedrooms. It's in the middle of the city so in some bedrooms you'll get plenty of city noise at night, but a great location near bars, restaurants, and plenty of fun activities. Short walk to Lyn/Lake and Uptown

Great Trip to Minneapolis
Nice, quaint property that was a perfect place for us.

Overall we found the property to be pleasant. The beds were reasonably comfortable, and the kitchen/laundry appliances were all in good working order.
The kitchen was reasonably well stocked, although we found the lack of table salt to be a little weird. Plenty of cooking apparel to use. We also found laundry soap and garbage bags.
There’s a lovely front porch area with some comfortable seating where one can enjoy their morning with a cup of coffee.
The house is charming, and looks great for being 120 years old. However any future renters need to be aware of a few details:
1) The house is in a somewhat scary part of town. It’s a wonderful mix of people (artists, musicians, etc) but there’s a rough element to it too. We heard police sirens every night of our stay.
2) We found the kitchen table area to be somewhat uncomfortable. The property owner should consider adding a taller table and some larger chairs for people to enjoy their meals.
3) There is no garage, and you’ll be parking your vehicle on the street. I had a steering wheel lock for my car and I would recommend you do the same if you’re going to be staying here.
For the duration of our stay we only heard from the property owner once. She indicated she had had an issue with the app on her phone, but after I immediately wrote back we didn’t hear from her again until after our stay had been completed.
Hipster couples and other college-age folks will probably be very happy staying here and visiting the local restaurants and bars.

The property is a classic architectural gem updated for convenience and spotlessly cleaned for your stay. The kitchen is complete with all cookware, dishes and basic staples. Linens and bath products are provided and easily located. There is a washer/ dryer available which for us was a big plus. The location is central to many points of interest including the local parks, lakes and access to the Greenway bike and walking path. Downtown Minneapolis is 5 minutes away. be aware that for the summer of 2021, 35W and its exits are under construction and a little rerouting is required but the additional travel time is minimal. The setting of the house is urban and the proximity to Lake street and the consequent
volume of traffic may be offsetting to some but was not a problem for us. There is plenty of parking available in front of the house. The property has 4 spacious bedrooms and a second kitchenette on the second floor making this place a real bargain for those with larger groups. The host Rachael was very communicative and helpful. We would definitely book another stay in the future.
