We appreciated the amazing walkable location, the historic building in a quiet courtyard, and the outstanding communication with the hosts, including a terrific binder of local information in the apartment. We would definitely stay in this spacious property again.

Perfect location and convenient to metro, grocery store, restaurants. We felt very safe walking around the area.

My family loved everything about this apartment. It is exactly as explained... quiet and yet super close to everything, comfortable, and clean. Everything we needed was there. The hosts were fantastic and provided restaurant recommendations, clear instructions, and help with transfers to and from the airport.
A few highlights:
-- there is a market around the corner for grabbing snacks and drinks and stuff for the apartment. We loved having the option to eat breakfast there and kept cereal and yogurt, eggs, bread and butter, etc., on hand.
--there is a lovely Irish Pub directly across from the entrance to the building. Really nice people.
--the apartment is 2-3 blocks from Old Town Square
--Having a washer/dryer was great
--When using Bolt or Uber, it's best to initiate when not in the apartment. Given the entrance and how it's set up, they can't find you well on the GPS. Walking outside to the corner intersection is more accurate
I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We worked with Michaela, and she was great. The location of the apartment was fantastic, and many of Prague's historic sites are within a 20 min walk radius. Prague is beautiful during Christmas season.
One of the rooms is under the staircase, so there can be significant ambient noise from folks above even into the wee hours. Earplugs help. The washer/dryer was a lovely perk. The self check-in did take a bit to figure out, but all in all, it was a terrific stay! I'd absolutely recommend this apartment to other travelers.

This charming, eclectic, very quiet apartment was very comfortable for two couples. And the location is incredible, though you should know your parking options if traveling with a car. Also, shower/tub would be challenging for some elderly or disabled travelers.

Great location, could not of been better for us! Communication with property manager was very good as well!

Wonderful spot. Comfortable beds. Adequate kitchen. Fans worked fine for us in mid September Unsure if this would
Have been ok in the heat of the summer. Appreciated the host’s informative booklet about recommended restaurants and activities.

Wonderful apartment that has all the amenities a person would need. Very cleanly and obviously well maintained. Excellent location close to the Old Town Square and well situated for other walks beyond the Square including forays across the river. From the apartment we walked about 25 minutes to the Main Train Station for a trip outside the City. Highly recommend this apartment for a tourist staying in Prague.

This apartment is lovely--attractive architecture, fresh flowers inside and on window sills, quiet respite after long days of walking and seeing the sights. It is so close to Old Town Square, the river, trams, and so many lovely restaurants and shops. Robin is very helpful communicating details about arrival and arranging transportation to and from the airport. Also great that they arranged for several fans to keep the apartment cool during a very unusual heat wave. Highly recommend and would return for next visit.

We loved the property in Prague. Great location and the property is unique/historical in the heart of Old Town. Communication was excellent. We would definitely return. Highly recommend

Abbot’s was one of our favorite places on our three week tour through the area. The apartment was quite comfortable and lovely and felt like home to our family of five. It is in a somewhat secluded location on a less-busy street and the locked courtyard entry adds to the privacy.
It was easy to get anywhere on foot that we wanted to explore in Prague. Robin was an excellent host. I’d love to get back to Prague someday and would be happy to stay here again. Thank you, Robin!

Our family of four adults found the apartment to be comfortable, super convenient location, lots of eating opportunities near by, and an interesting place to stay. The beautiful historic building and courtyard was a topic of conversation when setting out for the day. Our host was responsive to every need and we would definitely stay again, if back in Prague!

Centrally located, quiet neighborhood, absolutely perfect.
The apt was short walking distance to square, but was very quiet. The nearby restaurants were excellent but not overly crowded with tourists. In fact during our stay we enjoyed a local newborns strawberry festival. The apt was well appointed and the owner was extremely helpful and great communicator. We loved our time in Prague and look forward to our next visit here.

Apartment was roomy, clean and kitchen was well equipped. The location was great with many good restaurants nearby. Landlord was responsive.

The property is a historic building and it is obvious that it has been lovingly restored. It has great character and well appointed. Being located in the heart of the old city it was easy access to the sights of Prague. It was clean and comfortable.
I have no hesitation in recommending this property to other visitors. If we come back to Prague we will stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It is an amazing location, within short walking distance of so many of Prague's historic sites. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, well-stocked with everything we needed in terms of extra blankets & pillows, etc. Beds were comfortable and the courtyard is absolutely lovely. Best of all, Michaela and Robin were extremely helpful hosts. They left a comprehensive listing of recommendations for the area and beyond, including breakfast spots, cafes, and restaurants. They were also very responsive and answered all questions we had. We would definitely stay again when we are next in Prague!

Abbot's is a lovely hideaway in Josefov, perfectly situated for exploring the center of old Prague. The neighborhood is amply supplied with delis, bakeries and pubs yet once you retreat behind the wooden gate into the courtyard you leave the tourists and noise behind. We couldn't have been more pleased with our choice. Thank you, Robin and Michaela for your prompt answers to our questions, too. We'll come back!

The host was very helpful. The property is very central, and actually looks better than it does in the photos. I will stay here again if I come back to Prague.

We loved this beautiful, clean, comfortable apartment, tucked inside a lovely courtyard in the heart of Prague's Old Town. Stunning vaulted ceilings, lovely and interesting furnishings, and extras like a fireplace and stack of lpcal guide books all combine to make a memorable stay. Excellent communication as well. A delightful place to stay.

Stayed from Tuesday, February 7 to Saturday, February 11.
Location: Excellent. Within easy walking distance of all of the city's best attractions. Nearby butchers, bakeries, and restaurants. 2/2 stars.
Kitchen: Nice size with a wood-burning fireplace. Very dated cabinets, not very well-stocked for cooking at home. .5/1 star.
Bathroom: Good shower and bath. Towel warming rack. 1/1 star.
Ambiance & Comfort: Flat is on the ground floor of the complex, which has a nice courtyard and garden area. Three secured areas to get into the flat: the gate in from the street, the door to the building, and the flat door itself. Complex was nice and quiet. Interior has vaulted ceilings. Furniture somewhat shabby. .5/1 star.
Communication: Detailed instructions on check in. 1/1 star.
Overall, 4/5 stars.

I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay in Prague and the beautiful and cozy apartment we had there. You can walk anywhere in Old Prague from this location. Restaurants, pubs, shops, and markets are right outside the courtyard door. We had everything we needed and would look to book again when we return.

Fantastic stay! Property is in great condition and conveniently located, exactly as advertised. Robin and team also helped coordinate the logistics to/from the airport which made our arrival and departure seamless. I would absolutely recommend this property to friends or family

This apartment is warm and cozy and perfect for a Christmas stay! We even had our own tree! The location is perfect and there are no stairs! Robin was extremely communicative about a couple of very small issues. We would highly recommend this apartment and hope to return soon!

We loved your place. The location was perfect, accessible to everything we wanted to go to. The square got closer every time we went out the door! We always loved getting home to enjoy the old world warmth along with your Christmas touches, inside and out. Being fully furnished we were not in need of anything. The fireplace was a nice touch to some cool evenings.

The property was very clean and had all the necessary equipment.
There was an Irish pub across the road which came in handy for a quick drink and bite to eat.
Everything was in easy reach from the property yet despite it being so close to all the tourist spots it was a very peaceful location to stay.
For an extra fee transport can be arranged by the host from the airport to the property which is excellent and made our arrival so much easier.
Would definitely recommend it!!!!

The home was perfect for us. Close to the Old Town Square. Lots of room. Very, very clean. Enjoyed the courtyard too! Our check in was smooth and we learned everything we needed to know about the home and area. Great touch with the laminated binder! Would recommend to anyone. would stay again when in Prague. Thank you.

We had a bit of trouble organizing to get into the apartment. I think that it was mainly due to some of the information that is on the Air B&B not being on the VRBO site. Also simply cell phone not working to txt. However, the owner was really responsive, fixed it all really quickly and we got in fine, got our car parked in a really safe and secure location and got on with our vacation. It's located really close to the old town center, near everything you could imagine including great food. So it's super convenient and the apartment has real character and is in a quiet spot with all that you could possibly need. Definitely recommend for a place to stay on a visit to Prague.

We couldn’t have been happier with Abbott’s. Central location without being noisy at all . Plenty of room. Clean, comfortable and plenty of space. Would highly recommend to others and use it again if we come back to Prague.

Robin and Peter arranged our transportation to and from the train station. We were met at the apartment which is charming and cozy. There is a wonderful book with sightseeing and restaurant recommendations and directions. The apartment is very well equipped and we even enjoyed a fire in the fireplace! It is also well located, a very short walk to the Old Town Square. After a long day of sightseeing it was a treat to relax and soak in the tub in the beautifully renovated bathroom. On our last day, our train didn't leave until 5:00 so we wanted to enjoy the day, but didn't know what to do with our luggage. Robin and Peter were incredibly accommodating, and Robin came to the apartment to open the garage for us so we could store our luggage for the day. These two gentlemen provided top notch service and hospitality!

We (5 adults) had the recent pleasure of staying at this charming apartment. The apartment was very accurately described and provided more than enough space for 5 adults. Although there is current renovation work being carried out within the house we were never disturbed by noise from the workers or any of the other people living in the house. They sure don’t make walls like those anymore!!!
A major factor is choosing this apartment was the positive reviews which Peter and his crew received. I must say that the communication was perfect – all necessary information was provided without any request from my part. Peter contacted me in advance to confirm arrival times, etc and provide me with information on where to park.
Peter actually stopped in personally to check on the remote for the door and provided a brief history on the house which my mother and sister really enjoyed – sorry I missed that!!!
Peter – thanks so much for letting us have the opportunity of staying at this beautiful place. One suggestion that I would make is to provide a history of the house in your book of useful information – the house definitely has a story to tell and I’m sure that others would be interested in reading it too.
P.S.: I think my mother (80 yrs.) managed to screw up the TV programming (she did the same to my TV here in Germany) – so sorry about that!
Regards

We just moved to Europe this year and wanted to take my Mom who is visiting someplace close by for 2 days of amazing sightseeing. Prague was a HIT! And this apartment was as well. We were met at the apartment by Robin and his associate, Peter and they both were very friendly and eager to help us get acquainted. We unfortunately had a small issue finding a parking space and I just happened to be short on paying the remaining balance to secure the apartment. NOT A PROBLEM! Right away, Robin and his colleague offered to walk with us to the ATM and ride with us back to the lot where we did find a spot to park after all. The house is completely renovated without lacking old world charm. The courtyard was quiet and blooming with gorgeous flowers. We walked EVERYWHERE without having to hail a cab or utilize transit. There is an INFO book he has put together of restaurant recommendations and we chose the Irish Pub across the street for lunch which was GREAT! We also chose Pizza Nuova for dinner which was the best meal we had in Prague! Unlimited gourmet pizza and pasta sampling with amazing wine...how could that be bad?! When we came back to settle in, the Irish Bar was hopping with noise but once we got inside the doors, it was like we were blocks away. We slept sound all through the night and rested and ready for day 2! My only complaint would be that we didn't stay an extra night. Maybe next time...

Charming "old world" apartment in perfect location in Prague. Situated near the best restaurants and boulangeries, and within a couple of blocks of Old Town Square. Warm, very clean and inviting rooms... even included a much appreciated fireplace when the temp during our visit reached 19 degrees! Robin was extremely helpful with and reactive to all questions/requests. Highly recommend and would book again without any hesitation.

This apartment served us very well for our first trip to Prague over the New Year period. It is very convenient to the Old Town Square (couple of mins walk ) and is set in a very old and charming building. As other reviewers have mentioned it is also very quiet despite being close to main tourist area. We walked to all of the hotspots and were delighted with the snowfall. (Please pack a good pair of flat walking shoes as many orignal cobble stoned streets throughout) It has many good restaurants, pubs and bakeries very close by. Great food was had at Kolkovene Bar, Trattoria Al Dente. Wonderful soup and service at Le Court (also returned in the evening to try out Czech Grog to keep out the winter chill ) The Irish pub directly opposite the building is also worth a visit. Whilst we did not use the cooking or washing facilities, everything was in place and for groceries there is also a small store around the corner from the irish pub.The apartment was spacious and would easily accomodate 4 comfortably. My only minor complaint would be the quality of the pillows and towels, however it would not stop me recommending this apartment to family or friends. Robin (the owner ) also organised taxi pick up and drop off to the airport. All in all we had a great time and would love to visit Prague again during the warmer months.

Great location just minutes walk from Old Town Square, Charles Bridge, and the excellent Kolkoveny restaurant. The owner and his team were excellent in attending to transportation, directions, and solving a minor problem quickly. As others have said, this is an older building but comfortable and very workable for 4. While there the TV satellite dish was out, but who goes to Prague to watch TV. Also, no smoke detectors--a bit of a concern in an older building. But we would certainly stay there again.

My wife and daughters stayed at the Abbot apartment for four days. The apartment was clean, quiet and in a very convenient location. While this isn't five star luxury, it was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.
Robin, the owner was very helpful in arranging airport pick-up for myself as well as a daughter that travelled separately. The same man handled each pick-up and took us to the train station. He even got out at the station to make sure we got the right floor on the ele
vator.
The other thing we really appreciated was a binder with maps and restaurant recommendations.

this was my third visit to Prague and this time I didnt want a hotel, after lots of research I went for this place, it was on the ground floor (so no steps), enclosed in a walled garden/courtyard and in a great location - I also picked it as I wanted to stay in an older building with character - our host, Robin was very helpful and lovely, he sorted out everything for us and the taxi man he had pick us up and drop us off was charming, he is lovely and told us about about his life in Prague through the decades, very interesting guy.
The apartment is via a secure door which can only be opened via a fob, then the door to the apartment block also can only be opened by the fob to finally get to the apartment door, so its very safe and well lit, one word of warning though, you can not get in or out without the fobs so dont forget them. The apartment itself is big and has everything you need, towels, soap etc. Its an old building historic building so dont expect plastic windows, its fully of charm and is cumfy - the interior decoration is not to my personal taste, its a bit twee with its lace but not offensive and certainly not off putting, just not my cuppa and certainly not a reason to stay here again as everything else was perfect
I would recommend everyone to stay here, the location, price, security, host and taxi driver were great so dont stay in a hotel, stay here, it makes sense :)
