Stichworte: Günstig, nahe am Strand, nahe Sanur & Denpasar & Ubud, inklusive Gärtner, Highspeed-WLAN, praktischer 24-Stunden-Taxiservice, künstlerisch, gefühlvoll, geräumig, praktisch, Oase, voll ausgestattetes Haus, warm, offen kinderfreundlich, komfortabel, gemütlich.

This villa is just wonderful and just as described in the listing. Lot's of space and garden is lovely with a very nice pool. Contact with owner was easy and smooth. Eka & Sis who took care of the house did a great job and made great breakfast for us. Area is very quiet and it should be noted that you can get to Sanur and other locations with a cheap taxi ride or renting a scooter if you feel comfortable driving yourself in the hectic traffic.

We LOVED our stay at Anni's villa. Her communication was exceptional and answered all of my questions promptly. The house was amazing - clean, spacious and a wonderful feel to it. The garden and pool were incredible and we loved spending time in it. Eka and Sis were so helpful and lovely. Thank you so much.

This property is truly amazing! Not only is the villa spacious, beautiful and clean (the pool and gardens are the die for), but the villa staff Eka and Sis are wonderful as well. Eka’s cooking is amazing (very large portions) and they were always available to help with any request.
The only downside to this villa is that it is a bit further out of town then expected which was hard with small kids, but it’s an easy $7 cab ride to get there.
We would definitely itely stay here again!

This beautiful villa was everything I hope my Bali holidays would be. It was perfectly designed and served for family to relax and enjoy their stay.
The villa is very well built with lovely art and wood details, made you feel so close to nature and Indonesian culture.
The service that Sis and Eka provide was way and beyond I expected.
I would definitely love to come back and encourage my friend to come and experience this villa.

The Villa is just perfect. And Eka’s cooking is amazing. We have stayed in many places around the world, and this place is top of the list.

This huge beautifully decorated and well maintained home located just north of Sanur is an amazing get away! The pictures don’t deceive, they are 100% accurate even after 2+ years of COVID.
We needed space to spread out and were very pleased with the size of the home. Owners were prompt in responding to messages and replaced the master AC within 2 days (crazy fast for Bali).
The pool was perfect for small children with a large shallow end and far enough away from the house I didn’t have to worry about our daughter jumping in alone. Also, plenty of space to park both our car and motorbike.
This home will surely not disappoint!

We would definitely stay here again♥️

I stayed here January of 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. The house is uniquely beautiful, with big, open rooms, unique artsy touches, and a lovely surrounding property. The pool is perfect for relaxation and the grounds are private and impeccably maintained. It's close to everything Bali offers- beaches, treks, culture, etc. Kasek and Sis are both amazing people, with big hearts and a genuine desire to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The day before my fight I awoke very sick and the wonderful Kadek never left my side- massaging my back, adjusting my pillows, rubbing my burning forehead, and literally spoon feeding me her delicious cooking. She later accompanied me to the hospital, directing the taxi driver and hospital staff, making sure I was comfortable the entire time. What would have been a miserable last day in Bali was significantly eased by her unbelievable kindness. I am so grateful to have enjoyed this delightful rental; thank you Anni and Mel xx

We had a wonderful week at this beautiful Bali house in September. The house is beautifully designed with lots of open spaces where the wind can blow through easily. The garden is absolutely stunning, colorful and well maintained. The pool is very relaxing. The house is a great place to hang out with books and games as well.
The bedroom was very comfortable and the bed great for a good night sleep.
We also made several trips to the nearby beach by taxi and we went on an all day trip to Ubud. You need transportation to do things.
Kadek, the housekeeper is absolutely lovely and kind and prepared breakfast and several other special meals for us. She knew we love fruits, so she was able to get us all the in season local fruits. She also made the most delicious smoothies for us. Unfortunately her English is very limited, like with many people in Indonesia.

My wife and I have traveled the world a few times over and rented a lot of places in the middle east, asia, europe. And our stay in Bali was one of the best experiences. We stayed here (May/June 2015) and enjoyed every minute. From the beautiful pool, privacy, many artistic touches, and Wati, an amazing, kind hearted chef (which is a unique treasure of this rental). You'll enjoy the many local dishes Wati creates. We even hired her for some cooking classes. Grounds and rooms were kept pristine and the house had everything we could of asked for (except for being located directly on the beach). We used Blue Bird taxi to go everywhere and booked a driver for a longer excursions to temples on the other side of Bali. Location is terrifically centric and accessible to the airport, Ubud, beach clubs, and the dozens of other places to see on this enchanting island. You can even book a in-home massage if you wish. I highly recommend renting this home without hesitation.

Good communications with the owner during the booking process. Stayed with our family consisting of two teenage children (aged 17 and 19). Met by Wati who is a very professional host. Wati is a great cook and we always enjoyed her meals at night time. The house is not far from Sanur, an easy taxi ride (which Wati always organized for us). We loved the house, its views from upstairs as well as the peace and quite around the garden/pool area. The house is very clean and tidy. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

We were two couple looking for some extra space for our stay in Bali. The house was lovely and there was lots of private space throughout the house. The garden was peaceful and we ended up having our private wedding ceremony there. It was a good alternative to a beach wedding. We also enjoyed the pool to cool down in and Wati the housekeeper was a lot of help with taxis and our all our questions.

Myself, husband and 3 children (15, 13 & 7) stayed at the house for 8 nights. It was nothing less than perfect. The house had all the space we required and more. Photos show exactly how inviting this home is. I call it 'home' because that is the feel you get from the moment you step inside the front gate. The grounds were meticulously manicured and the entire home was extremely clean. The staff where very accommodating and helpful. We had such a wonderful time at the home. Highly recommend this home to anyone travelling to Bali - all ages!

Nicest vacation rental we've ever had
We've stayed in places all over the world and this was by far the nicest place we've ever rented. The pics, descriptions and other reviews say it well. And you're close enough to all the sights and attractions of Bali but removed from some of the craziness. And you get at least a little taste of life outside the tourist zone by roaming the residential streets where the villa is.
For those who worry about such things, we weren't the least bit concerned about safety--even with our 2 beautiful teenage daughters along. And once you figure out how to book taxis etc., it's very easy to come and go.
By all means, take up the chance to have Wati (the housekeeper etc.) cook some local food for you. The meals she prepared were definitely the best we had all week. Many of the restaurants in the tourist ghetto serve the same things with the spice levels pulled way back. The food Wati prepared was amazing! We can't recommend highly enough booking the Bali tropical house for a wonderful respite in this beautiful part of the world!
Best of all are the many sitting areas where you're serenaded with the sounds of tropical birds, the crowing roosters, and sights of the ocean from the top floor studio. This is truly an oasis.

VRAIMENT EXCELLENT
We've spent one week in this lovely villa! All was perfect.
Thank you to anni and mel.

Charming, comfortable and relaxing
Four of us - 2 mothers and 2 adult daughters - stayed here for 2 weeks. We could not have asked for a better introduction to Bali. The owners were very responsive to all my questions and concerns about the property when I was still trying to decide where to stay. The house itself is beautiful and very comfortable. A huge bonus is their lovely housekeeper, Wati, who keeps everything spotless and is a wonderful cook as well and Sis, the gardener, who unobtrusively keeps the garden and pool beautiful and, who I suspect does a number of other things to keep everything working and comfortable.
My one concern, the fact that the house was not within walking distance of the beach or even much in the way of restaurants and shops, turned out to be a non-issue. When I was there I checked out a few of the other properties I had considered renting that were on the beach in Sanur. I came to the conclusion that my choice to stay in Anni and Mel's house had been a very wise decision. The beach houses were in noisy, crowded areas that weren't very pleasant. Besides, transportation (taxis, and/or a car and driver for longer excursions) to and from every place we wanted to go was quick easy and very inexpensive. And, the best part is that when we got back in the evening, there was a lovely garden and pool waiting for us as well as a delicious supper!
We were very happy and would recommend this house to anyone. We would love to go back ourselves!

The best of our trip
We stayed in this house for 5 weeks and we loved our stay. The house is absolutely adoreable. It is beautiful, peaceful and very personal. We were two small swedish families (one baby each) that stayed in the house. It is easy to share the house with another couple or small family because it is two big separate bedrooms with two bathrooms each. There is also an extra room for older kids and an open area to hang out together in. The house is perfect for young kids. The garden is beautiful with a lovely swimmingpool. The house itself is very balinese and feels genuine. Wati, our housekeeper was brilliant, she was so good with the babies and she made our stay unforgetable. Her food is a must to try. She cooked javanese food for us every day and it was even better than in restaurants. The owner was very flexible and helpful before our arrival and during our stay. We went travelling for three months in Asia and this was the higlight of our vacation. Stay there! And say hello to Wati from us. You will love this place!

Amazing stay!
I stayed here with two other colleagues for one week. We were doing work in Benoa Harbour and wanted somewhere quiet and lovely to relax after long days at work. This house is so beautiful. The two large bedrooms are incredible, each with their own ensuite. The pool is so refreshing and the garden is beautiful. Wati and Sis were both friendly and helpful. Wati's cooking is sublime.
I would give this 10 stars if I could. Also, the owners are great - had email contact with them both. You can't go wrong with this house! If I am back in Bali for work again I will definitely stay here.

Fantastic house - more like a home - even nicer than the pictures promise
We were three generations coming together in this house, and it was a perfect place to spend quality time. The space was just so beautiful, and the rooms even more lovely than photos can say. The best thing was that it felt like a home - probably because it is a real home, to a real family (who has now moved elsewhere but still manages the house very closely).
As a result, everything "works", not just as functionally, but as in the spaces work. Kids can jump and run around (did they ever!), sit and draw, swing in the hammock and last but not least; swim in the pool! Which has enough shade AND light, and different depths for different sizes. My kids were just so happy going between these different spaces and activities, which gave the adults a chance to relax in any of the comfortable chairs and overlook the gorgeous garden.
Then there is the food... The maid is delightful and a gorgeous cook. The owner went out of her way to help us out with tips and toys.
As the descriptions state, transport is needed. If you want to go anywhere, taxis are readily available. We took 10 minutes to the beach in low traffic and over double in heavy traffic. The house is set in a suburban area among other houses (and cows and chickens, which is the charm of Bali). Since one of our children is very young, it would have been great to be able to just "pop out" and immediately be somewhere, but for others this is probably just an issue.
When we did go out, no matter how nice the place was, it was always lovely to come home. I think that is one of the highest commendations I can give a place.

Wow!
We booked six months in advance of our arrival to Bali. Prior to arrival the owners were great communicators, answering all of our questions promptly and giving us excellent ideas to enhance our vacation. The house was beyond belief, and the staff was superb. Taxi service excellent and cheap to anywhere you want to go. The 500 thread count sheets and king size bed allowed us to rest with ease. Air conditioning if needed. The bustling neighborhood offered anything you needed, especially fresh coconut milk for our daily refreshment. Cooking by Wati was delightful. The house was very clean and comfortable, delightfully decorated with the local flair, open walls and fresh air. The pool was refreshing and so nice to always be able to hop in for a swim any time of day or night. Yoga and pilates on the lawn are a must, along with reading in the hammock. I read in previous review about barking dogs, yes, they are there, but now know that the owners have tamed the dog it was no bother at all. It was just another extension of the Bali graciousness. Three Monkey's, great restaurant. Comfort, luxury, safety, an all around A+ for the house and the vacation.

Blissful !
What a wonderful way to really sink into the rhythm of life on Bali! Our eyes were soothed by the open floor plan of the house, beautiful stained glass windows, natural wood beams and railings, esthetic and comfortable furniture, and the shaded view of the lush gardens. Our bare feet enjoyed the cool floors and the green lawn on the way to the sparkling pool. Our meals were so easy to prepare in the well appointed kitchen and our nights were spent dreaming in the quiet rooms upstairs. We sigh as we remember and hope to return to the Maliki home once again.
