We are a seasoned family that has booked vacation rentals for over 30 years and this house, by far, has been the worst rental. The only thing going for this house is the location.
Considering that the home is very old there were water stains and mold on the dining room ceiling. There was a patched up hole in the bathtub. There was a electrical junction box hanging in the closet. Fire hazard!!! Ants in the kitchen when we arrived. Clogged toilet in the half bath and spongy outside wall. Sloping floors in the kitchen. Cracked paint everywhere! we paid over $900 for two days which I believe was outrageous! Should have stayed in a hotel!

This property was fantastic! There were three of us, plenty of room in a great place with a ton of historic character. An incredibly short walk from downtown but far enough away that you forget it is there. Will definitely be back!

Conduit St, Annapolis, MD
Despite a hiccup at the beginning of our stay, the property owner made things right and graciously allowed us to stay an extra day.

The house is a perfect location for visiting Annapolis. Walking distance to everything! The only request would be to make sure all remotes work for TV. Plenty of space and beds for 6+ people.

A prime location also comes with some noise. Great location but a bit noisy at night. Overall a good unit though it could use a little TLC inside. Furniture very comfortable but more than a few feathers sticking out! Beds very comfortable. Photos did not do it justice as far as how spacious it is!! Each room is a very generous size, I would say it should be labeled 1.5 bath as we were expecting another shower. Not a big deal for us. Backyard very nice to sit out, not an issue finding a parking spot either. Overall a very comfortable stay, would definitely recommend it!

Great getaway
Great location downtown Annapolis

We really enjoyed this location in downtown Annapolis! Having a parking pass for street parking was great and always pretty easy to find a nearby spot. We knew before renting it that it was an old house but we wanted location over luxury on this trip. Loved the backyard and enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings or on the front porch. Since you are right in the middle town, it is noisy late at night with cars and trucks etc but we were so exhausted most nights that it didn’t interfere with our family sleeping! Make sure you eat at Chick N Ruth’s deli which is just next door! 😊

The location was absolutely awesome. Pros: clean beds; big, fluffy towels; wifi and tv; great kitchen appliances including coffee machine and coffee; owner Kurt is great; and great historical building.
Cons: bathrooms need updating and shower was weak; living room furniture is worn; bathroom and kitchen floors need to be replaced; and the outside desperately needs cleaning and paint.

Quaint, charming and CLOSE!
Perfect location for Mids to stop by. Comfortable beds, comfy sofa and nice spaces overall. Kurt had everything we could possibly need in the kitchen for cooking.

We brought our children back for a reunion weekend and football game at USNA; having been married in Annapolis 12.5 years earlier, we knew that messing with parking in, on or around the USNA during school and football season with a home game wasn't something to tread on lightly. The location is key- as it is less than a block from Main Street, and took us about 10 minutes (with kids) to walk to the visitor entrance. Further, it was so easy to pop back to the house change and then head somewhere to shop or to eat on Main Street. There was a K-cup that Kurt was nice enough to tell us about and we brought our own cups, there is a cute little back patio to sit on, full dishwasher and fridge and stove, so you can make breakfast and feel like you are in the 1890s. While 3 bedrooms, the "3rd" bedroom with the bunks is really in the middle of the other two upstairs bedrooms and none of the doors lock (including bathrooms); we were a family, but just a consideration. But having 3 separate sleeping areas and 1.5 bathrooms was more than we would get in a hotel, plus the benefit of the proximity to everything. Our kids are between 4 and 12, so it worked great (and better) than a hotel room. . . BUT this is an old property, and so you should be mindful that while charming, not everyone is going to love those aspects. Additionally, the intersection of Conduit and Duke of Gloucester is a loud one that motorcyclists like to run (at least they did that weekend) so you can hear the traffic. We appreciated having a home base that was comfy, just enough of what you needed and none of what you didn't; but some might be more picky with their level of luxury. we would definitely stay here again though- it really is right in the thick of it downtown- and with the parking pass, we never even had to move the car.

Prime Location
If you are looking for walkability and a truely historical visit this is your place. The historic Row house is about a block away from all of the main restaurants and shops in downtown Annapolis. It is an easy walk to the Naval Academy and Eastport. We took the Trolley Tour and the tour directer even points out and mentions this set of row houses. We had our two dogs and found that there were plenty of streets away from Main street to walk with our pets and take in the charm of the area. The owner was very responsive to questions and made our booking very simple. There were fresh flowers and wine upon arrival (thanks). The kitchen was well equipped. The bed in the master was comfy. It is close to "the action" but remains quiet. There is a small fenced in garden out back that would be nice for outdoor dinning and there is a grill. It was really hot when we were visiting so we didn't spend time outside after touring. However it was great to let my dogs out for a late night pee. Be aware that this is a home that the owner uses. Therefore there are things in the fridge, and some personal items. I enjoyed being invited to the "emergency liquor"!! We also used some salad dressing (thanks). This is not only a rental it is a home. We always appreciate our Pet friendly rentals. Thanks for a great stay!

Great location
We rented this home for Commissioning Week at the USNA. Not only was it a great location - the owner was wonderful to work with. We walked to almost every event at the academy and had fun going out on the main strip at night! Great location and lots of historic charm.
