This was my second stay and it was as fabulous as the first. Great location, beautiful views, well appointed, spotless…I can go on and on. Just perfect.

This property and the location exceeded our expectations. The property had everything we needed(kitchen supplies,bedding,etc.). The boathouse waterfront was perfect for relaxation, kayaking the lake, enjoying nature and enjoying meals outdoors. Would definitely return and highly recommend!!

This was an amazing stay. Much better in person as the pictures don’t do it justice. Nancy does a fantastic job of thinking of the little extras to make your stay feel like home. If I could have given 6 stars, I would have.
This lake is pristine and quiet. Best over the water patio and screened in porch on the lake with all the things you would need to stay there all day if you wanted. Stayed 5 nights in June and would definitely stay there again.

This is a perfect lake retreat and a wonderful host. The home has everything that you need, and is immaculately clean but also very comfortable to relax, make a fire, put your feet up. Lots of different living spaces for everyone to have their little spot to relax.
The only note for people who have limited mobility are the stairs to access the home are not suitable for anyone who isn't fully mobile.
I would stay here again without a moment's hesitation.

This was the perfect place to relax and recharge. A beautiful, comfortable home with every detail considered. Close enough to the city, but a world away. Enjoyed hiking Blanchet trail and the view of the lake from the dock.

We stayed at this beautiful home a few years back and returned again. Everything was just as nice. Meech Lake is very peaceful, mostly without motor boats and Gatineau is magical. Nancy's place is a wonderful as ever.

Nancy was an amazing host to deal with. She was very fast at replying to any questions and provided additional information when needed.
The property and home are beautiful. You can tell a lot of though went into decisions regarding the place. The boathouse is an excellent option if you want to be at the water but want more shade or to be screened in. It felt as if it were a living room on the lake. The lake was very calm with a sandy bottom and walk in access.
I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice getaway. It was a very peaceful retreat from the city.

The home is gorgeous. The kitchen is very equipped. Two of us are seniors and the stairs leading from the road up to the house presented a small challenge but once in the home, the climb is well worth it.

This was a great home to fully relax and enjoy a change of scenery in a perfect location. Nancy is a great host, timely responses to all questions. Home is well setup for your stay. This was our second time at this property and will definitely be back again.

Kitchen and dishes are excellent quality-we cooked an excellent Thanksgiving dinner. We enjoyed the large and very comfortable house where we spent the week. Very comfortable, quiet and relaxing. We walked some of the Gatineau park trails.

This is an absolutely stunning property
I don't think the pictures do it justice! The house is beautifully designed and very comfortable. The "boathouse" is a spectacular space to spend time enjoying the view.
Host Nancy was very communicative throughout, and provided some excellent recommendations on restaurants and activities to do in the area. When we forgot something in the house after checking out, she graciously said she will mail it to us.
We couldn't have been happier with this rental - I highly recommend it.

Beautiful Retreat in Gatineau Park
A truly stunning home with outstanding views of Meech Lake. The property is spotlessly clean and very well-equipped. We appreciated the easy access to hiking and bike trails, but were just as happy spending lazy afternoons swimming and lounging at the beautiful boathouse. Would definitely rent this property again.

The best part of this property is the lakeside “boat house” separated from the house by the main road. The lake is beautiful - make sure to take advantage of the property’s kayak or tandem kayak. We brought our paddle board and it got tons of use. The view from the main house is extraordinary and the house itself is gorgeous. Highly recommend!

One of the most beautiful houses we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying at. The floors were very clean (I mention this in particular because we always take our shoes off when we come inside, and it’s not always the case that the floors of a summer rental are this clean!)
You do need to be mobile and able to manage many stairs to be able to use this property - if so, you are likely to love it as much as we did.
Well-stocked, with a beautiful two-story boathouse with wraparound dock. And Meech Lake is beautiful no matter what the weather brings - we had many swims on gorgeous hot days as well as on the cooler days.

Kitchen has all you need. Just perfect. We were a family of four adults who did not mind the stairs to the property. An elderly couple might find them difficult.

We enjoyed family day weekend at this beautiful property. The stone and wood finishes were perfect along with two wood burning fireplaces.

Beautiful property on an iconic Canadian lake
This is a wonderful spacious house. The kitchen is extremely well set up and very high end. The house is bright and open. Although the lake was still frozen we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
