The main things that drew us to this location was the number of people that it accommodates in bedrooms and access to the lake. The house is well supplied. It is a beautiful location to just enjoy being together with family.
As noted by others, the biggest drawback is access to the house.

My family and siblings, along with their families, stayed here while we were in the area for our brothers wedding. We couldn’t have asked for a better set up. The kitchen was stocked extremely well, and there was plenty of space for all of us. The views and boat house were amazing. We’d definitely stay here, if in the area again.

We had a great time at Daniel's lake house.
The house is huge, with ample room for large groups due to the living room/common area/tv on each of the 3 floors - this was really great during our college football season visit. The week we arrived, new Fiber internet had been installed so in spite of the lack of cell service, everyone was able to stay connected. The driveway is steep, as others have noted, but taking it slow is the way to go. Can't wait to be back next year.

This was one of the most enjoyable places I have ever stayed. The only slight minus (that I know the owner has no control over) is spotty internet service. Perhaps boosters or enhancers placed in each of the three floors of the house for the internet may help that. But I am no geek squad kind of guy - so that may not work. At any rate, waht a great place for a fmaily gathering!!!!

This was our 3rd year in a row renting this house. It’s a beautiful house located in a quiet cove. The owners are always nice and easy to work with.

We had a wonderful time. It was everything we wanted for our vacation. We love that it was in a no wake zone with plenty of water toys to play with. We did a lot of cooking for our big family. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. The only bad thing was the lack of Internet and phone service. However, for those of us who did not have job responsibilities to check on, the lack of service was great. We had some wonderful conversations!

We had 17 immediate family for our annual Smith Lake vacay. We had an amazing time here. All 3 levels of home stay nice and cool(always an issue with previous multi level homes we have rented). Plenty of water toys to enjoy on the large dock. We had everything we needed and recommend this home to larger families looking for a great get away on Smith Lake. It was a short boat ride to the open channel where we do much fun tubing and sight seeing. The driveway is challenging however we managed just fine with caution and taking it slow. The owner provided detailed directions and we were able to find the home just fine. We will definitely stay here again!!

We absolutely loved everything about this property! Incredible views and the house exceeded our expectations. A really neat lake access and the jumping rocks looks super fun for summer swims! We will stay here again!!

We travelled with our entire family, inlaws and all, from Nashville for a short getaway. We had plenty of room for the six adults and six children ranging in ages from 16 to 12. The house was perfectly equipped and have everything we needed.

This house is beautiful! The driveway is intimidating but the property is well worth it. Great location with plenty to do inside and outside. Great communication with the host too.

The house was amazing, everyone had a bed and something for all ages. The driveway defiantly is steep but once your there is great.

This is our third visit to this property and we LOVE IT! The house is gorgeous and has all that we need to enjoy a weekend with friends. The gravel road and driveway were a little tough to navigate after a hard rain, but the accommodations more than made up for it. The owners are easy to contact and very responsive. Cannot recommend the property enough!

If you have a large family, and are looking for a peaceful view to look at while enjoying a cocktail, or a cup of coffee, this is a good spot. The driveway isn't for the faint of heart, but the payoff with the view is worth it. More than enough space to spread out, 3 floors with each living areas gives enough space for even those who need a little peace and quiet can escape to. It isn't in town, but has a store close enough for what you may need. My Family really enjoyed the stay!

Our one and only complaint is the driveway. We couldn’t go to dinner one night because the car couldn’t get out of the driveway. Then on the day of check out the van carrying all the food couldn’t make it out and had to be “towed” out with the help of another vehicle. If renting this property be cautious of the vehicle you bring. Other than that everything was great!

The property was very accommodating for family fun on the lake. The owners graciously made available to us their kayaks and other water gear, which allowed us to make the most of the lake. The home is large and spacious and has comfortable patio furniture for enjoying the large patio on the main floor. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, although a house this size could use a few more plates and dishes for meals to aviod constant running of the dishwasher. We had trouble getting useful internet access, perhaps due to the large number of devices that came with our large group, and most tv's were not connected to cable, so we were not able to enjoy them, but we found we seldom needed those in this lovely outdoor oasis.

We had an amazing 4 and half days on Smith Lake. The house did not disappoint even if the driveway was a bit steep we dealt with it and had an amazing time! Our children ALL made awesome memories. Dock was great along with the paddle boards, kayaks, floats and Lilly pad. My youngest son spent most the trip snorkeling and discovered the Smith Lake jellyfish. The views from the home were amazing and did not disappoint. Daniel was responsive and wonderful to work with. The WIFI was spotty but also forced our teenagers to find some good old alternatives for entertainment! :-) which all of us adults appreciated watching! Thank you for an amazing vacation.

We were slightly nervous after reading a few of the most recent reviews; however, our stay was wonderful. Everything was exactly as pictured. The host was quick to respond and was very accommodating. We had a WONDERFUL time with our group of friends at this beautiful home. Will definitely be coming back!
