~~ Parken am Nordende von Boston ~~

Great location. Easy access to everything
Place was great for the four of us.

Great location, but second bedroom is tiny (bunked bed) with no window. Photo online makes it look bigger than it is. No window in master bedroom - only windows are in living room; if you need fresh air, this could be a problem. Less so in the winter. For the price, I was disappointed. So many small things could have been attended to - a hook on the back of the bathroom door, a plastic glass (or paper) in the bathroom, tissues, a few more hangers, salt and pepper shakers that weren't empty. Two of the framed pieces of art on the wall were broken. Overall apartment needs a little TLC. P.S.
Fire station across the street, luckily no fires the two evenings we stayed.

This apartment is in THE best location! North End. Restaurants everywhere, great coffee (try Cafe Vittoro or Cafe Paradiso), 7-11 less than a minute walk has all basics you need, Mikes Pastries (2 minute walk) and Old North church on freedom trail right across the street. Easy walk to Boston harbor & many other freedom trail sites. Easy walk to USS Constitution & bunker hill too. Try warren tavern for lunch! Oh and there is a laundromat right across the street . So convenient. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. We are a family of 5. We ended up using the living room couch that turns into a bed. It all worked out very nicely. The owner left us pasta and a jar of pasta sauce which was very nice. I was tired of cooking so didn’t use them but it was a nice gesture. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you for the lovely stay!

Great Spot!
This was a great apartment in a great location. We arrived during a local festival where Hanover St was blocked off with food and activities but were able to get in without hassle. The North End has amazing food and is very historical as is all of Boston. We had a great stay!

Excellent location
First time to Boston and it did not disappoint. The apartment is a very short distance to waterfront, freedom trail, amazing restaurants/cafes/bakeries. Everything went so smoothly. Highly recommend!

Location!!!
you can not beat the location of this property!!! BUT there needs to be three more fans as the air does NOT circulate at all if you stay in the summer, there should also be way more mirrors, only 2 (1being the size of a small clock) made it difficult. also the couch pull out is not comfortable... it's actually more comfortable if you do not pull out the couch but sleep on it as is. the location can not be beat! we walked everywhere and it was so nice to have that breeze from the harbour once outside. the restaurants are phenomenal and people fantastic!! LOVED IT!!!

Nice property in the heart of the North End. It worked out great for us. Large living dining area. Fully equipped kitchen. Felt welcoming. Note that the second bedroom has bunk beds... that was perfect for our purposes, but was not described as such in the listing.

Excellent location - wonderful North End on a relatively quiet Main Street (we’re used to city noises so the day time street noise seemed fine)
I’ve lived in 100 year old properties for 20 years so get that things can feel worn even when things are clean, but from the worn down furniture and sheets to the walls needing a fresh coat of paint the place just felt, well, worn down. It was basically clean.
Bedding - not suitable for 6 people. The pull out couch was very uncomfortable. Also, the bunk bed doesn’t have a full railing (the railing is at the level of the bed) so I would bet parents with young children wouldn’t be comfortable putting little kids up there, at least I wasn’t.
Communication with landlord became an issue when we encountered what we felt to be a pretty awful situation. We arrived to discover that the street was getting torn up and repaved during our stay from 7pm to 4 am. Yes, that is accurate. I have a picture of the flyer that businesses were given 2 weeks (conformed this with neighbors) before the construction.
The first night we all barely slept the noise was so loud and went on until about 3 am. It was unreal. Second night the heavy equipment scrapping stopped at 12:30 am. The third night the jack hammering under the window stopped at 10 pm.
Of course the construction is not the fault of the landlord, but we feel it was his obligation to inform us of this construction and to either offer the ability to cancel or a discount. He did neither nor has agreed to any kind of discount. The communication has been unpleasant and he has threatened to “write me a bad review”.
I write neither a bad review here nor a good one, but am accurate description of my family’s stay at this propert.

North End Gem
We stayed at 435 Hanover in the North End. The apartment was lovely and extremely convenient to all activities we had planned. Check in was easy. I was also able to add on extra days with short notice. I would highly recommend this property.

Charming updated apartment in the North End!
My husband and I took our two boys (4 & 2) to Boston for the weekend and were fortunate enough to find this beautiful apartment right on the middle of everything! There was a mix of old work charm with modern luxuries, like an updated kitchen and bathroom, and spacious living area. The bedrooms were perfect for the weekend—though I would say the built in bunk bed was way too high to let our 4 yr old sleep up there (the pack n’ play fit perfectly in the open closet in the second bedroom keeping the kids kind of separated).
The artwork was great, the kids loved being able to look out the window and see the fire station right across the street, and being within a 2 min walk to delicious pastries and Italian delicacies was an added bonus!
It was about a 10 min walk to Quincy Market, 1/2 hour walk to Boston Common, and about a 5 min walk to the nearest playground (across from Joe’s Bar and Grill).
We would highly recommend!

Tidy Apartment in a Great Location
A nice neat place that is tucked out of the way in Little Italy. You'll love the tall ceilings and the feeling of being right in the middle of one of Boston's great neighborhoods.

Spotless, beautifully appointed, comfortable, and location, location, location!
The apartment is really quite charming, with a great street scape and little real noise for being in the heart a city. The host was responsive to a question immediately and check on is super easy. Beds were comfortable and our teen loved the upper loft queen bed. Thanks for the nice art work on the walls and simply but tasteful decor. I loved that Paul Revere stands guard across the street.

Such a lovely apartment near everything
Our family of 4 (2 teens) loved staying here! The building is over 100 years old and just feels like a part of history. The owners have done a great job melding history with modern conveniences. The bathroom is all new - clean, white subway tile - and the kitchen was new as well. The original wood floors and the very high ceilings really gave it a lot of character. And the location!! It couldn't be better. Just a block or so from the Freedom Trail and the Paul Revere Mall (with the famous Paul Revere Statue), and in the heart of Little Italy. We walked to Faneuil Hall, The Old North Church, Paul Revere's House... they are all very close. (The New England Aquarium is also a short walk.) The apartment is on the second floor (no elevator), but it was no problem getting our luggage up the stairs and into the apartment. Getting the keys was very simple. There was lots of hot water for showers...we took three in a row and didn't run out. It is stocked with everything you need, even a hair dryer! The second bedroom has a twin bed with a double bed above it, so this unit seems best for families. All the beds were comfortable. We had lovely weather when we visited, so we didn't use the air conditioner or heater. Nor did we cook, so the kitchen was used very little, but it was nice to have one! Parking was an issue, but you just have to plan this cost in your budget since finding street parking is impossible. We parked at the Battery Wharf Garage the first night...cost $50. We moved the car to Stearns Wharf the second day because the rates looked cheaper, but they really weren't...paid $41 to have it there from 4pm to 11am (we thought it would be $24, but 5am starts a new day). But guests at the nearby Marriott pay $40-$55 to park, so this seems to be in line with what you pay in Boston. (You don't need a car to get around, so don't rent one if this is the only place you'll be visiting on your trip.) There are hundreds of Italian restaurants and we had a wonderful meal at La Famiglia Giorgio, which was less than a 10-minute walk. The fire station is across the street, so there was some activity and sirens during the day as fire trucks came and went, but we didn't hear anything at night. The USS Constitution is free, so be sure to go there!
