This is our second year staying at this home on White Cliff Road in Egg Harbor in Door County. We love it because we can walk to everything- restaurants, marina, shopping. About the house, it has all comforts of home, we can cook when we want and it has most of the cooking pots, pans, utensils, grill and a dish washer. I could not find the cutting board. I love the screened in porch so we can enjoy the evening breezes minus the bugs. Thank you for also allowing our pet to come with us. Would stay again.

Needs to be updated. Electric outlets are few for people who need a C-Pap machine. Wi-Fi was weak and furniture is not comfortable.

Nothing fancy, an “up north” cabin… quiet except when the barbecue joint top of the hill leaves their stereo on all night until they come back in next am. Short walk to marina and Egg Harbor attractions. Very clean… Cabins 2 and 3 had views of the lake. All in all would go again.

Overall stay was great. The hosts were fantastic, the home had a great charm to it, was clean upon our arrival, pets were welcome, and it felt cozy in the best possible way. We would definitely stay here again.

You can’t beat this location in Egg. We love staying there. Only *very very minor* complaint was the house was pretty cold in the mornings but we came very late in the season. It would quickly heat up & of course you have the option to use the fireplace, which was great. We’ll stay here again!

After a very difficult start to our visit due to a severe early season storm we had a very good visit we are very thankful to the hosts for their promptly response to our concerns. They made a quick decision to help us, which resulted in a very good visit. Thank you

Just like staying at the family lakehouse. Clean and comfortable but dated furniture, linens, etc. Convenient location! The owners were very responsive. When the wind blows in from the bay, it can get a little drafty. The screen porch would be lovely in nicer weather!

Good location. Property as advertised

Excellent location, walking distance to market, restaurants, breweries, and harbor. Adequate kitchen facilities with utensils, as some days we ate at least one or two meals in. Loved the screened in porch! During our stay it rained a couple of days and was cooler, the house had a musty smell to it. When it was warmer we didn't notice it as much. Though the living room was very spacious the furniture really needs updated, not comfortable if you just wanted to hang out at the house. The carpets also need a refresh! They looked and felt dirty. Didn't want to walk around in bare feet. We knew going in it was an older property, but don't know if I would stay there again. It was a nice home base for us and we were looking for a property close to things in Egg Harbor and for that it fit our needs.

We loved enjoying mornings on the porch and the convenience of being close to everything in town.

We were so enchanted and the cottage, location and amenities were all we hoped for !! We can’t wait for next summer

Good location for walking to town/restaurants, but much older than expected. Ants invaded the kitchen by day 2 and the bedrooms and sleeping conditions were quite old as well. Outside porch was a nice surprise.

We enjoyed our stay for the 4 days at Egg Harbor. The home we stayed at was close to the main road and we were able to walk to restaurants and shopping. The home was large enough for my family of 3 and our dog. Felt safe. Clean and comfortable furnishings. Forest/ lakehouse decor. Kitchen had necessary utensils. Porch was godsend as it was screened and did not need to worry about the mosquitoes. Appreciated the clear instructions on working the TV. Wifi and air conditioner. Would stay again.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was very convenient to the marina, market, and many restaurants in Egg Harbor. All walkable. The house itself was cute, clean and comfy. It fit our family of 4 very well. We would definitely stay here again.

Easy rental, great communication

This was a cute place in a great location - we were able to walk to restaurants, a distillery, a grocery store and the waterfront! The house had a great porch for morning coffee and everything we needed.

We had a very nice stay. I appreciate the fact that we had an issue with the toilet and it was taken care of right away. And that I was able to talk personally with the owners. Maybe most people don't need to talk with them. But I liked that I could meet her face to face and have a conversation with her. Very helpful on places to see in the area. Overall we were very happy with our stay and will definitely stay there again.

The three of us chose this cottage just 1 block off of the main street through Egg Harbor for our annual Girl’s Weekend. You cannot beat the location! You can walk to almost all of the shops and restaurants in Egg Harbor which was a huge plus for us. The screened porch was also a highlight and we spent each morning and evening enjoying the fresh air without the bugs. I would agree with some of the other reviews - the ants in the kitchen are a bit overwhelming. One crumb and there is an active ant community. - the cottage is older so the musty smell is noticeable but to be expected. A few open windows helps a lot. - the bedding absolutely needs to be updated (blanket and comforter). The blankets are literally thread bare and have to be years old. The towels also seem bit be very old, a bit thin and dingy, but they were clean. - don’t rely on the WiFi for streaming movies. The connection was extremely slow which made streaming impossible. We would definitely stay here again due to the location and overall cottage. We could keep a tidier kitchen and bring our own linens. And with all of the shopping, walking, and restaurants just steps away who needs electronics anyway?

Great location to walk into Egg Harbor and the marina for sunsets easily. Loved sitting out on the porch as well.

A short walk to the harbor for wonderful sunsets. A short walk to coffee shops, grocery, some nice restaurants, and Grumpy's ice cream! Comfortable. Nice location and easy access to places of interest. Be sure to check out White Cliff Road (turn right out of the drive and right away from the harbor). It's a pretty walk but a nice drive too. It's a bit of a hike, but you can walk to the artisan cheese place and then the Wood Orchard Market, and see some lovely things along the way.

The house was very clean, plenty of bathroom towels, and we all loved the screened in porch!It was great that we could walk to the store or any other of the shops!! The downfall we had, was the the shared driveway with the people that owned the house next door. They had totally blocked the 3 cottages from coming or going. Just glad everybody was in for the night and no one had an emergency.
