Was a nice cozy cabin for our little honeymoon getaway

Different hot tub, patio table, couch, coffee pot, and fire pit than pictured. I was attracted to this listing bc of the check in/check out with no person-to-person contact and disinfecting of all high touch surfaces. However, upon arrival, over an hour after our scheduled check in time the owner was still present - and while the surfaces might be sprayed with Lysol there was no evidence of wiping anything or dusting. Throughout the stay I observed dirty cups, pans and utensils in the cupboards, a dish scrubbing brush that should be thrown away. There was visible dust on the ceilings, cabinets, top of fridge, end tables, counters, and toothpaste/soap splatter on the faucets and walls around the sinks and on the bathroom mirror. The holder for the toilet paper roll had so much fuzz on it you couldn’t see the heads of the screws holding it in the wall next to the toilet. There was hair from previous visitors on towels w/ strong detergent scent. The provided pans had scratched teflon and there were various plugins emitting their aroma throughout the cabin. The blades on the AC were dusty and it smelled like the filter needed cleaned. There were dead stink bugs in the tracks for all the windows in the house and the inside/outside of the glass was visibly dirty. Toilet, hot tub & shower clean and operational. We were very comfortable and the hosts allowed us a late check out for breakfast plans. Just won’t cook there and will bring our own towels and pillows.

We enjoyed our stay so much we plan to return here as an annual vacation together. It was such a clean and beautiful property. The stars at night were incredible! Wonderful hosts.

This was our 2nd stay at this cabin. Such a Beautiful property. Love the views. I’m a clean freak and some of the dishes needed re-washing but other than that. I would highly recommend :)

My husband and I stayed here for 4 days to celebrate our 35th anniversary. The cottage was very clean,hot tub was amazing and just what we needed. Dave and his wife are perfect host.

My dog, husband and I stayed at the cabin for just a few days but it was just the little geg away, i think we all needed! Not only was the bed extremely comfortable, but the views and peace n quiet were incredible! We will def be back!

Very cozy, and secluded...great getaway!

The cabin was the perfect getaway from the city. Hot tub was amazing. I'm not sure who enjoyed it more us or the dog. Would definitely go back.

My new bride and I stayed for a few days and we were absolutely blown away. The cabin was perfect for us. We would like to stay here again.

This is a wonderful place to stay, very well-kept and extremely comfortable. Unlike others I have seen, the hot tub was in good working order and very clean. Nothing beats the panoramic view from the porch. Very enjoyable with a cup of coffee in the morning.

this little cabin on a hilltop brought my future wife and i a weeks worth of relaxation and peace that im not sure ill be able to find anywhere else. Less than a half hour from Athens and nothing but countryside in between. We cooked all our meals in house and ate on the porch listening to the birds chirp and cows from down the way. Night dips in the hottub and listened to the rain as we drifted off to sleep. 100/10 would recommend to anyone trying to really, really get away from the stress of work and the city. Will be coming back!

Nice place to relax

We have the best weekend away here! It’s a wonderful little cabin. It’s very private on top of a beautiful hill. We drive into hocking hills to hike and do activities and it wasn’t a bad drive at all! We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and grill in the evenings. The bed was so comfortable. We will definitely come back here! Thank you so much for sharing your cabin with us!

We really enjoyed our stay. This was so private and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub. We watched the deer in the area walk by. We felt comfortable enough to let our dog off lesh to play outside. The cabin was perfect for two. The owners were responsive and kind. The only thing I would say is the internet could have been faster, but it was fine for streaming or browsing. We loved getting away!

It was very secluded and private. Very relaxing just to get away from city life.

This was my third stay. I love staying in both cabins!! I'll be back again!! So peaceful, comfortable, and private.

This cabin is secluded, but also a short distance from town. We were able to bring out two dogs which made it even more special. Sat in the hot tub everynight after our long walks. We would stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin. It was so cute, quite and private. We loved drinking our coffee on the porch and looking up at the stars at night. It also wasn't too far away from hiking spots. Will definitely be back!

The property is beautiful, cabin is cute perfect for 2. The property owners are very friendly and help you with whatever they can, gorgeous sunset views and to top it all off a hot tub to relax after a long day of doing things

We loved our weekend stay here. The cabin was clean & cozy. We enjoyed using the hot tub and watching movies using the streaming services available on the tv. We came to hike and the property was about 40 minutes out from hocking hills, but we did not mind at all! It was great to be secluded from the rest of the tourist traffic. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent time looking over beautiful property. I needed to get away from everything for a couple days and this was perfect. Dave was a great host and messaged me with things to check out and eat in thew area. I will be back again for sure

At the end of a long driveway, on top of a hill, far away from the hustle and bustle, with a beautiful view of the rolling hills and fields from the front porch rocker. Just what the doctor ordered.

My wife and I needed to get away for a couple of days for some peace and quiet and back to simple life, and we found at this cabin! Set back off the beaten path all you could hear was nature ( the most relaxing sound) no interruptions, no problems, just relaxation!!

Nice place to get away. Bed was very comfortable. Owner was very responsive and helpful.
