We have rented from this host before, different property, and this one was just as nice. Right on the Main Street in Oak Bluffs so super convenient. Very Clean and Everything you need is in the house. host/owner easy to reach via app if needed. Highly recommend

We like that it was walkable to town, beach, playground for the little ones, and having Tony’s Market just a block away for last minute items. Great deli sandwiches for the beach.
I would highly recommend staying here for multi-family gathering. We all agree that this is a home we would return again.

This May, my two siblings and I treated our 78 year old mother to a trip to MV for Mother's Day weekend. None of us had ever been to the island and we were all very excited to explore. This was also my first experience with VRBO.
The Oak Bluffs house is in an excellent location within walking distance to the town and the beach area. It is in a residential and the interior is comfortable and quiet. The photos of the interior are accurate and we found the kitchen, bathroom and related appliances and amenities all in excellent condition. You wont run out of towels!
There are three bedrooms and a large full bath upstairs and a second bathroom off the kitchen on the main floor. The fourth bedroom is off the kitchen and was likely converted from being an office or sunroom. I slept there on the daybed and enjoyed the space. My siblings and mother found the upstairs rooms comfortable and pleasant, but desired tv sets in their rooms for late night viewing.
The owner was at the property when we arrived checking on some recent work and he graciously provided a brief tour of the house and recommended a local grocery store for snacks after our day of travel. I should also add that he checked in via email during our stay and was extremely helpful and generous with his time in retrieving my mother's cell phone which she left behind at the house.
Though we were just four adults, I believe the house can accommodate 6-8 easily. I will certainly check this property first for a return.

This home was perfect for our family of 6 adults. The location to Circuit Ave and the Inkwell could not be beat. Joe was a great host. Attentive and helpful. Home was clean, had linens and everything we needed.

We are still floating on cloud nine after our trip. We have been asked to go to the Vineyard for the last ten years but as owners of a beach house on the Eastern Shore it was hard to pay for a beach trip but this house, it’s location and the town were well worth it. Having a family vacation with kids and a mother in law in her 80s we needed a place that was walkable, accessible and met all our needs and the house did just that. Cooking and preparing meals was easy, and Joe has thought of everything. I was pleased with the cleanliness and the dual air conditioning system was perfect. We will def be back and hope Joe’s place will be available!!

Another lovely trip to Martha’s Vineyard and Oak Bluffs this year. The house is clean and comfortable. Joseph was a dream to work with. Our family consisted of 4 adults and two children and there was plenty of room for all of us. There is a small bedroom on the first floor with a daybed and desk which was perfect for a crib setup. A full bathroom is provided on the first floor. There are 3 bedrooms and a large full size bathroom are upstairs with a shower and a tub. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of eating and cooking utensils. There is central A/C throughout which was a huge bonus. The porch provided plenty of seating for everyone and there is a side yard for the kids to play. The Circuit Ave. traffic is busy, but you can only hear it when you are sitting outside. Location is within walking distance to the shops, the beach, and a nearby park. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks Joseph for use of your lovely home!

First Family Trip to the Vineyard
We are still floating on cloud nine after our trip. We have been asked to go to the Vineyard for the last ten years but as owners of a beach house on the Eastern Shore it was hard to pay for a beach trip but this house, it’s location and the town were well worth it. Having a family vacation with kids and a mother in law in her 80s we needed a place that was walkable, accessible and met all our needs and the house did just that. Had an amazing time at this home for our week in Oak Bluffs! Very centrally located which was great because many of us did not have a car. About a 10 min walk into town and there is a local market right around the corner which came in handy many times. This house was perfectly located and very comfortable for all: nicely updated and a great place to hang out when not out and about. Being able to walk to the center of Circuit Ave in minutes was so convenient and we highly recommend going to the Back Door bakery for their oversized apple fritters and donuts.

We loved our week in Joe’s Oak Bluffs cottage. The house is very updated, beautifully decorated and we had all that we needed for our week. The outside table with umbrella was great. For families with young children, there is a bit of traffic on Circuit Ave, but this was not an issue for us. We enjoyed games in the yard - the landscaping is beautiful. Great Home, Well Appointed and Roomy
We loved our week in Joe’s Oak Bluffs cottage. The house is very updated, beautifully decorated and we had all that we needed for our week. The outside table with umbrella was great. This property was extremely clean except for the small ants. Plenty of room for 8 people and great for family fun. Close and walking distance to everything, but house is very close to street and small yard so must watch watch children closely or keep them on the porch! Appliances were all working but unplug the toaster oven when done. It's an older model. Overall, it had everything we needed and good times with family!

This property was very clean and inviting. Excellent location to the beach and town center. This property had many upgrades. Everyone in our party enjoyed the property and stay at MV. The Owner was easy to deal with and communicated promptly. Highly recommend this property.

Great location!

Great location, straight walk right into Oak Bluffs, clean and comfortable home. There is a market & deli right around the corner to pick up any last minute items or grab sandwiches for the beach.

Perfect family getaway spot
My family spent a week at this beautiful home this summer. The amenities are fantastic and it is in a prime spot to be able to walk downtown after days out and about on the island. We went to different beaches each day and it was relaxing to know we could come home and not have to drive. The house had everything we needed including appliances, a grill, linens, towels (you need to bring your own beach chairs and beach towels). The huge washer and dryer in the kitchen was a HUGE plus with a bunch of teenagers going to the beach everyday. The outside shower was another huge hit. I would definitely stay at this house again.

LOVED THIS HOUSE!
I just returned from my annual Girl Getaway on Martha's Vineyard and THIS house helped make it one of my best trips yet. The location is PERFECT! Short walks to stores, restaurants, activities, beaches! Although we had one, You do not need a car. The owner was incredibly accommodating from my initial contact throughout and was very responsive. I actually did not even need to reach out to him during our stay because everything we needed was right there for us. From the modern appliances to decor to the updated rooms. We lounged around the house during the hot days perfectly comfortable b/c of the central a/c. It was all perfect. We were a group of 6 woman and one 17 year old and we fit very comfortably....side note 2 women shared the lower floor bedroom with the trundle bed and mentioned it was bit tight according to them. We had a wonderful breakfast out on the patio and discussed our day on the porch at night. We are EXTREMELY disappointed to find out the house was already booked for the week in 2017 :( but know whoever is renting will enjoy the memories they create. We definitely look forward to renting THIS house again in the future.

Love this house
I just returned from my third annual stay at this MV house. I love it so much I just committed to a fourth year!
The location is perfect - a short walk to the shops and restaurants in town and a short walk to Ocean Park and the beach. There is a market about a block away too. The owner definitely takes great care of this house and each year we are surprised with awesome, modern updates. It's rare to find an MV house with so many modern conveniences - central air, washer/dryer, dishwasher. The bathrooms are updated and there is a grill and a huge porch. Part of the porch is covered and it's great on days when it's raining at bit and you can't get to the beach. The house is always very clean and the owner is great and very responsive.
I can't say enough great things about this house. It has become my summer home away from home!
