The Hynes Cabin – A Spacious Renovated 1925 Classic with Stunning Views
Hynes Familie Cabin ist eine schöne, renovierte Split-Blockhaus mit atemberaubender Aussicht und moderne Annehmlichkeiten. Schlafen sieben. Seit 1925 hat diese Kabine neue Holzverkleidung im gesamten Gebäude und eine vor kurzem renovierte Küche, Wohnzimmer und Bad. Die Badezimmer sind mit vintage Keramik Beleuchtung. Ein großes Schlafzimmer und einen separaten Schlafbereich auf Veranda, beide mit Doppelbetten. Drei Einzelbetten auf Veranda. Ein Vollbad mit Wanne und Dusche, ein WC. Wohnzimmer verfügt über neue Ledersofa und Liebe Sitz, sowie original Scheitholz und Möbel aus Kiefernholz. Großen abgeschirmten Veranda mit spektakulärem Blick auf Harney Peak und Mt. Elkhorn. Original Ball und Klauenwanne auf Veranda ist mit Kissen gefüllt, damit Kinder in zu lesen. Rad- und Wanderwege in der Nähe. Drei Meilen von Hill City und fünf Meilen von Mt. Rushmore. Gäste und ihre Kinder haben die volle Nutzung des nahe gelegenen Mt. Rushmore KOA Angeboten wie einem kostenfreien Pool, Whirlpool, Wasserrutsche, Minigolf, Kino, Gemischtwarenladen, Restaurant, Bar, Eisdiele, Pizza & Sandwich Shop, General Store, einen Souvenirladen, und eine Wäscherei. Ausritte und Outdoor-Pfannkuchen-Frühstück sind ebenfalls gegen Gebühr zur Verfügung.

So thankful we found this hidden gem. The description was also spot-on with what we experienced. Arthur was incredibly helpful and communicative, as was Kimberly, the property manager. Our family completely enjoyed this treasured family-cabin. The 40’ screened in porch was such a unique, fun experience. Can’t wait to come here again.

We loved the cabin. The location is excellent and the amenities are great. The feeling is very nostalgic. The unfortunate part is there is definitely a pest issue, no food can be any way accessible. Fix that and I’d give it five stars.

Overall, exceptional experience from finding a booking that was at the same campground that my dad was staying at to the availability and effective communication from the property manager. We were at the campground a day early and were able to drive past and confirm the location of the cabin, when driving from the front of the park to the back right before the back gate, the road has an option to make a right onto the gravel. If you follow that and then make a left between the two rocks it’s the second cabin!!! I was able to drop a few things off early while cleaning was taking place and when I walked in the cabin, all I can say is the photos online definitely do not do justice for this place! Beds were comfortable, everything you could think of needing was available in one of the many drawers, shelves or bins around the house. It felt like my family‘s cabin, it really was a great space to connect and make memories with my fam!! During our stay we drove around the area and did a bunch of sightseeing, swam at the pool and attended the rodeo! Ate pancake breakfast one morning and signed up for a trail ride on one of the beautiful horses that I watched every morning and every evening stampede up and down the hill! I was in my own world at the same time just minutes away from a campground community that is built to entertain families and children of all ages! Before we left, the children already asked if we can come again next year! Thank You, forever a Hynes Family member
