4 of my siblings and I spent a wonderful long weekend at Jon's home in Richmond. He was an excellent host; he was prompt to respond to all inquiries, and very clear in all of his communications. The home is such a great place for a group gathering - there are multiple spaces to hang out and enjoy one's company. The views across the pond, with the mountains in the back, are spectacular. Everything was clean and well appointed; just as advertised. Balderdash Winery (within walking distance) was a fun outing. I highly recommend this listing if you're visiting the Berkshires.

From our first contact to our post-checkout, Jon was wonderful to deal with. The house was perfect for us---in fact, the best we've ever stayed at, and we've stayed at many over the years. The setting is beautiful and the house is well-equipped, clean and very comfortable---especially the mattresses! When I think of our time at Jon and Nancy's home, which was far too short, it makes me smile.

Our family, including my two-year old grandson, had a wonderful time and Jon is a terrific host. The house is very comfortable, modern, and easy to live in. There is so much light flooding in and the view of the lake and mountains from many parts of the house, and especially from the deck, was gorgeous. Also, the house is very centrally located in the Berkshires, readily accessible to Tanglewood, Stockbridge and many other highlights. We highly recommend this house.

Beautiful lake house, great decor, comfortable beds. This was one of the best stocked houses we've stayed in. Jon thought of everything. Loved sitting on the deck & dock - great location on the water. Brought our own paddle boards & used them when it wasn't raining. This was a very relaxing vacation for us. Thank you Jon!

My family and I loved our stay in the Berkshires. Jon's home was perfect for our group, and the location is beautiful to relax and enjoy the lake. Plenty to do in the local area, but also great to just be around the house. We'd love to go back!

We loved waking up to the serenity of this gorgeous lake. Jon was the consummate host, taking the time to come meet us at check-in, walk us through the house, do last-minute deck cleaning (there are lots of geese on the water), and offer area suggestions. The house is supremely comfortable and well stocked. Five stars!

The house is beautiful, modern, and very comfortable, with two king-size, one queen-size and two twin beds. Excellent location, short drive to Tanglewood, Berkshires Botanical Garden, several great hiking trails, historic homes, museums, and charming towns like Lenox and Stockbridge. The host was communicative and easy to reach. Best of all: the views of the pond!

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property during our daughter's wedding weekend at Tanglewood. Jon was very communicative and flexible with our weekend needs. The home is located on a lake and is very serene. It easily accommodated 6 adults and was able to handle both our air conditioning and heating needs. The home is decorated in a very tasteful and comfortable manner. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property and highly recommend it. it is about 12 min from Lenox center and is well located to all activities in the area. Thank you, Jon, for a great stay!

Beautiful property overlooking Richmond pond with beautiful fall views. The house is immaculately kept with everything you could need. The host is a wonderfully accommodating gentleman who goes out of his way to make your stay enjoyable. We were a group of seven seniors who travel together and have had the opportunity to stay in numerous places and this is one of the best. Highly recommended.

My husband and some family members stayed here during my daughter's wedding weekend at Camp Arrow Wood, directly across the lake. It was so wonderful to walk in to this immaculate, lovely home and to go out on the deck to look across the gorgeous lake and see the tent being set up in the distance! The house was just perfect for us including wonderful master bedroom on the ground floor (what is that comfortable mattress, I need one at home!), multiple bedrooms upstairs, everything so appealing. But what made our stay extra special was our interactions with Jon. When he heard why we were visiting, he immediately offered early access and late check out, checked in with us multiple times over the weekend to make sure we were comfortable, and even assured me there would be plenty of room in the empty freezer for my homemade wedding cake tiers! Our only regret was that we never found time to take one of the many kayaks / canoes out for a spin on the lake. Next visit for sure, and there will definitely be a next visit!! Lovely home, close to Tanglewood, but don’t let the distance fool you, 1hr and half with traffic! Lovely views of the “pond.” Some in the group took the kayaks across the pond. Some of us just hung and took in the view. Couldn’t get a reservation out for our group of eight, so had a surf and turf feast —— well stocked kitchen.

We were in Williamstown for graduation and stayed at Richmond Pond for the weekend. The house was exactly as described - beautiful farmhouse that was extensively remodeled inside. Kitchen had a gas stove, a big center island, and everything was new and clean. Same with all the bathrooms - all remodeled, new and very clean. The bedrooms were great, the mattresses were very comfortable, and the air conditioning was awesome (it was a very hot weekend). The outside deck opens right onto Richmond Pond and at one point, someone in a canoe said to us, "you guys have the best view of everyone on the pond". Which was true. Jon was a great host and made sure everything was good to go and was very clear in his communication. Excellent booking.

Jon was a great host and the house worked out great for my extended family. My son had a blast fishing from the dock and we all enjoyed swimming, boating, and birdwatching on Richmond Pond.

The entire experience from booking to checkout was easy. The house is cozy and perfect for our reunion getaway. Our too brief relaxing time at Jon’s ideally located house on a lake/pond, the comfort of beds and furniture, the convenience to many activities along with his helpful suggestions made for an idyllic family vacation.
