Walking into the floor to ceiling glass walled living space with exceptionally high ceilings gave me an instant sense of awe.
The beds were exceptionally comfortable.
The kitchen had many gadgets and other niceties like spices. There were bikes & beach gear & pool toys. It was nice to stay somewhere with so many guest conveniences.
There is a private dock on the canal & we were visited by a manatee!
I struggled with the pool instructions, but the owner Michelle graciously & patiently helped.
If you choose this home, the grocery store is 10-12 minutes away and Gasparilla Beach is only 20 min away. It is very confidently located.
I would stay here again.

We stayed about three weeks at this AMAZING home, and Michele was the best property owner that we have dealt with in all our stays. The home was so beautiful, comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed watching the boats going by and especially enjoyed the pool! It was wonderful having such an attentive owner who went to the trouble to provide video and written instructions on how to heat the pool – perfect for our November stay as the pool was used almost daily! The day we checked into the home was also the day the new pool cage was installed after last year’s hurricane damaged the old one. Southwest Florida took a terrible hit from that hurricane and it was nice to see the area had mostly recovered from it. The kitchen is fully equipped and was perfect for our family who live in the area to come over for Thanksgiving dinner. Michele even took the time to bring over some baking dishes to help with our Thanksgiving meal. (Highly recommend reserving Cracker Barrel’s Heat n’ Serve Thanksgiving Feast for a delicious, no fuss dinner!) We also took advantage of Instacart to get Publix groceries delivered to the house – convenient and time-saving when on vacation. 😊 The neighborhood is quiet and safe. We hated to leave this gorgeous home but hope to stay again next year!

Our stay was great. The house is absolutely beautiful and the layout is perfect for traveling with teens - master suite is on the opposite side of the house from the other two bedrooms. Anything we needed was already there for cooking/meal prep. The pool was great, we did not choose to heat the hot tub or pool because it was so hot, but it worked and was beautiful as well. Bugs were bad at night, without the lanai, but we fogged before sunset and was fine afterwards.
This house is really in the middle of nowhere, or at least it feels like it. I appreciated that, but the kids were not thrilled with the drive to anywhere. It’s peaceful, quiet, beautiful, and spacious. We traveled with two adults, and three teens (15,17,18). The only thing I’d recommend is making the tv situation a little better, only two tvs in whole place, and they were not capable of watching live tv, at least not that we could figure out. Luckily we brought our own PS and was able to watch Netflix as well. It was not a low point for us, but could be for others.

This home is beautifully decorated with very nice furnishings. The layout was perfect for seniors living with young family members. The pool and hot tub were also nice. And if you fish, you'll love the dock on the canal. I would stay there again!

We had to find a rental as soon as possible. Michele was in constant communications with me and we actually got into the house earlier. The house was gorgeous and so was the master shower! We had an amazing stay!! Highly recommend!!!

First michele. She was extremely prompt to answer any questions we had from the get go. Absolutely flawless! The property was gorgeous. Extremely clean. Everything worked as intended. The grill included. Just can not find a bad thing to say. I hope to stay here again in the future. The residence is very close to multiple beach and fishing locations. And restaurants EVERYWHERE! Thank you Michele for everything!

Good property. Quiet neighborhood kind of in the middle of the outskirts of nowhere. Very disappointed by the grill was not functional, nor did it have propane which the grill was unusable. Also, no lanai which was indicated in the pictures. Property manager was prompt with returning phone calls in regards to pool questions.

We enjoyed our three week stay with a few exceptions. The house is beautiful and the pool/dock area were lovely. Pictures were true to the setting, except the birdcage and roof took major its from the hurricane. Michelle the owner alerted us early that the bird cage was gone and a few shingles. Michelle was very responsive to questions and gave suggestions for restaurants.
We would certainly stay again but found some disappointments.
When going to use the grill we found it dirty and needing repair. There was a flat iron grill that we cleaned to be able to use and put aluminum foil on the regular grill to use it. Michelle reimbursed us for 2 tanks of gas that we replaced and connected We left a third tank filled when we left for the fire feature.
There are TV's in the living room and master bedroom. The bedroom TV did not have a signal until we purchased an external antenna and Roku to get channels. The TV in the living room caused trouble most days and into the 3rd week finally stopped being connected to the internet. Very frustrating. We contacted Michelle and she made suggestions that worked for the first of our stay.
As mentioned earlier there was damage to the roof. During our stay the roof was replaced which was good but not for those staying inside. We had four days of listening to heavy pounding of nails, our picking up trash and nails falling off the roof and needing to stay outside because of the noise. Michelle would tell us "Sorry for the inconvenience " but that seemed inadequate for what we experienced.
We bought bath towels, hand towels to add to those present that were few and many well used. The curtains in the bedrooms did not cover the width of the windows, leaving gaps for those wanting to dress in private.
When we arrived we were surprised to find food and condiments in the fridge. Expecting the fridge to be empty for our use.
A suggestion would be to clean out the fridge for guests and check in the corners for cobwebs. We are not familiar with the bugs in Florida but experienced many bug bites and the cob webs (in the corners) made us think that maybe a better cleaning would be helpful.
Actually, we really liked the home and the surrounding pool/water canal and would love to stay again but were disappointed in some of the amenities that were lacking.

Exceeded our expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this lovely home. It was fun watching the parade of boats float by while enjoying the warm Florida sunshine. We love this area of Florida. It's a very quiet neighborhood which was perfect for us. We hope to return some day.

Our family really enjoyed our stay for the week. The house is as advertised and very clean. Nice patio with a beautiful view of the canal, where you can drop a line to fish or just relax in the pool or hot tub. Owner was great wirh communication. Thanks for letting us spend the week in your home.

The owner is very responsive. The house was clean and very enjoyable. Beds are comfy and the neighbors are friendly and won't bother you. Being on the canal is very peaceful. Sadly, the pool and spa were not usable due to the hurricane. Regardless, the house is worth renting and the location is very good. I'd stay here again without hesitation.

Our vacation was wonderful. This was our first trip to Port Charlotte and staying at Michelle‘s home was amazing. The house has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. It is clean, well stocked and beautiful. The house is on a canal and we spent all morning watching the boats go by and drinking our coffee. The pool was amazing and we spent our days swimming. There is a Publix grocery store five minutes away and we were able to buy everything we needed to cook. We also went to the nearby beach of Englewood, which is beautiful as well. We took a day trip to Sarasota which is about an hour away and they have a nice college town. We also enjoyed Mexican food in Northport and Port Charlotte town center. We had a fantastic time and would definitely stay here again.

We arrived on a Sunday and noticed 1st thing the house was not cooling to the set temp, which was set at 74'. We changed airfilters in hope that would do something since they were filthy, but it did not. With the next day being a Holiday, we let the owner know 1st thing Tuesday of the issue. She responded quickly, but unfortunately the AC was not serviced until Friday. Owner stated that was the earliest someone could come out. We literally had this beautiful home but couldn't be comfortable because the house would never cool below 77 until after midnight. The lowest the temp in house ever got was 75'. If I have learned anything from this experience, it would be who cares what day it is whether a holiday or not, I will not wait when AC issues are involved. Everyone else can be as inconvenienced as I am. Especially when you pay this much for a vacation.

My wife and I have been coming to this area of Florida for the past 10 years. By far this was the cleanest house we have ever rented. I believe this may have been the first house we’ve rented that we never had to contact the owner or property manager with any issues. House and pool were great, hot tub a little confusing but once we looked at the instructions a little bit we figured it out. If you like to fish this is one of the better houses we have rented and caught fish. We caught snook, redfish, catfish, pin fish and a few fish I couldn’t identify. Had a great time and would definitely consider staying at this house again.

Michelle is so nice and helpful at ALL times.
The process was easy. She gets back with you very quickly.
This location sits right on the canal. we really enjoyed fishing off the dock but we took our boat and it was such easy docking which is a big thing for us.
The house was EXTREMELY clean Im always happy with that. All the beds are very comfortable and she has EVERYTHING you need.
The walk- in shower in Master room is a Dream shower. As you’re showering with an overhead shower head you can look pass the pool into the Canal.
We took the boat about 20 minutes across peace river to the shops and places to eat. It was like a little key west style. Must visit. If you go I recommend eating at the center bar. Mahi bites and fried pickles were the best ever.
The pool is very well taken care of along with the yard and maintenance around the place.
The living room /recliner/ movie style/ couches was a hit with the teens/kids… I can say it was the first time in a long time that we’ve all sat down in a living room watching TV together. I didn’t know how much furniture could change that.
We will be returning but definitely for two weeks next year. We always vacation down in Boca it’s been hard to find a place that meets our needs. This was beyond anything we’ve ever stayed in it was definitely a luxury vacation.

The home was absolutely beautiful, the location is great, not only because it’s right on the water but because it’s in a neighborhood that’s away from the heavy traffic. There is a dollar store across from the entrance of the development which is great for those things you forget to bring. The Gasparilla State Park isn’t far away and is absolutely one of the best beaches that we’ve been to. Michele is great, she responded very quickly to the couple questions we had. We will definitely book another vacation at this home❤️

I often have difficulty leaving work behind and relaxing, even while on vacation. The tranquility of this property was very relaxing and allowed our family some needed rest. The property was very well maintained, clean and peaceful. We will certainly be back in the future.
