Every year my family and I plan a winter getaway in New England, and Sharon’s place was perfect for the long weekend! Between a 2 year old and 6 adults we had more than enough space. House was so clean and well stocked. We loved hanging in the kitchen and living room, it was all so cozy! 10/10 would recommend!

We had a perfect weekend. The house was so lovely and cozy that we didn't want to leave it. Comfy furniture & fully equipped kitchen -- The Christmas tree and lights in the windows made it feel like we were in a holiday movie. Sharon was the perfect host - she kept in contact and answered questions quickly. I would love to go back!

Property is immaculate with no details over looked. Me and my four best college friends had the most relaxing and comfortable weekend at this perfectly appointed luxury cabin. Communication with homeowner was easy and I cannot recommend this property highly enough.

We were attending a family wedding and we stayed at this beautiful cabin on the lake. We all had such a great time. The cabin is beautiful and you can’t get a more beautiful location. It was clean and had everything we needed! Would definitely stay here again if we ever came back!

Cabin and property is exactly as described! It was very clean and toiletries and kitchen was very well stocked. The view of the lake was amazing. Our only thought was that it was very close to a busy street, but that's unavoidable it seems. Highly, highly recommend!

I booked this cabin over a year ago as a space for myself, my bridesmaids and my mother to get ready for my wedding. I wanted everyone to be comfortable and have space to sit and relax as this is a long day of hair and makeup. The cabin was absolutely beautiful. So much so that we chose to begin our professional photos here with the lake in the background. The cabin was extremely cozy and we were able to relax on the couch and some of us sat down on the dock and read books while waiting for our turns to get ready. Unfortunately, we did not get to spend much more time at the cabin however I would absolutely keep this in mind for a family trip in the future in order to utilize the lakefront! Sharon was incredibly responsive throughout the process as I did have to make a couple of changes to the reservation over the year and she was behind anyone accommodating. Thanks again for helping make my big day so memorable!

My wife and I have greatly enjoyed New England our married life of 53 years along with our family. The lakes of NH are especially beautiful and enjoy them greatly. We have rented from Sharon before and everything about the experience was exceptional !

Everything was there for our stay. Even dog treats and brownies. Very clean. Its own beach. Fire pit. Dock. Lots of grass for yard games and even swings canoes and kayaks.

Shangri-La exceeded our expectations! Its location is so convenient...on the water but close to anything one needs on vacation (boat rental, mini golf, ice cream, what else do you need?!!!). The amenities & "extras" (dog biscuits, condiments, smores ingredients/candy, homemade brownies, toiletries, etc) were all a pleasant surprise...we had to bring home much of what we brought! It really was a perfect accommodation for what our party of 8 needed (we brought an air mattress and someone slept on the couch). We had our private beach, boat dock, swim dock and much more. We highly recommend Shangri-La to anyone looking for a cozy, well-appointed and wonderful waterfront experience!

A wonderful time at the cabin. Just bring your clothes, everything provided! A lot of extra touches from the fresh flowers and brownies to the bed and snacks for our pup !!

We spent a week in May at appropriately named Shangra-la. The house was extremely clean (something that I am very picky about) and very well appointed with everything we needed and more. The host was very helpful with suggestions for restaurants and things to do (although we didn’t want to leave the waterfront for any length of time).
There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The boats and life jackets were very convenient and fun. The yard was very large, the waterfront had easy walk in access, and they even provided wood for the fire pit. Solid 5+ star property.

The cabin was spotless and ideal for our needs. Lots of attention to details and needs of our group. Provided everything you would need for the little ones, including beach toys. Also had a lease, lead, a dog bed and bowls for our dog!

This is our second time renting this property and we wouldn't think twice about renting it again. The home is immaculate. We got to wake up every morning with a beautiful view of the lake. Everything is close by but you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. Looking forward to renting again in the not too distant future.

I stayed at this home with two of my friends for a girls’ weekend away. The home had everything we needed! Beds were comfy, living room was so inviting, the kitchen was well stocked… I could go on! My family and I had a great time renting both cabins. The houses were immaculate when we arrived and it was easy to use the code locks to get in. We have 4 year old twins who did not want to leave. One actually told us he no longer likes our house because it doesn’t have a beach. Sharon and Peter thought of everything you could need. The location on the lake is perfect. It’s in a little quiet cove where you can swim and paddle board without fearing for your life. The water is clear and just the right temp. We rented a boat which we tied up to one of the three docks on the site. This is perfect for vacationing with multiple generations. We used the fire pit, the playground, playhouse and outdoor kitchen. The property is a dream.

Wonderful vacation property
The house and property is fabulous! It feels secluded, yet conveniently located to stores, restaurants, etc. This is an ideal location for families with young children, there is SO much for them to do. Sharon is a wonderful host and is readily available to answer any questions. This was our second time staying here and we will be back!

Just what the doctor ordered. Amazing views, beach, quiet neighbors, massive beach and yard to play and relax. Beds were super comfortable with plenty of space to spread out. Parch was one of our favorite spots to read a book, play UNO and chill with a beverage. Rented a boat for a few days and it was easy in and out whenever we wanted to play on the water. Bonus fireworks on the weekend of the 4th too, amazing display! Will try and come back every year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shangra-La! Beautiful property located on Winnisquam Lake. The outdoor fire pit and the front porch were used all weekend! We will visit again!
