This is very comfortable two story, two bedroom home located at the end of Mendocino Village. We just spent our fourth summer in this home. The house is walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and galleries. The local food market has everything needed. The three best things about this home are 1) easy access to walking and hiking trails, 2) A spacious second story deck with views of the ocean and bay, ideal for relaxing and reading, and 3) Lisa, the owner, who is gracious , welcoming, and responsive.

We spent our third summer in this lovely house on the edge of Mendocino Village. The house is comfortable and quiet, with wonderful views, especially from the spacious second floor deck right off both bedrooms. The house is walking distance to shops, restaurants, and great hiking.This is an ideal home for extended stays in Mendocino.

This was our second summer stay in this wonderful home located on the edge of Mendocino Village. The home is dog friendly, and extremely comfortable. The photos on the VRBO website are an accurate reflection of the home, furnishings, and amenities. Everything was in excellent working order, including great Wi-Fi internet, suitable for streaming and video conferencing. The house was well stocked with essentials. The owner, Lisa, is always responsive and attentive. One day the microwave stopped working, and we had a replacement within 15 minutes !
The home is in a great location for all the activities the Mendo Coast has to offer. This year we took advantage of the Kayak operation a few minutes away, as well as numerous walks and hikes through forests, coastlines, etc.
The town has a variety of restaurants and shops, all within walking distance.
There is a large deck on the second floor with great views of the ocean and bay. The deck is furnished with new cushioned lounge chairs and umbrella, making it ideal for reading, napping, and sipping wine. The house is surrounded by a large colorful country garden.
We look forward to returning.

The house is very clean, I’ll start with that because it’s the most important thing for me.
Lisa, the host, is helpful, easy to talk to, knows everything about town, and friendly while also letting you have your own space. Perfect.
The view from the upstairs deck is breathtaking and the English garden in the yard is spectacular. The location couldn’t be better: close to town, one house in from the ocean, and had great privacy.
Well stocked throughout, she’s anticipated what’s needed and made sure it was there. Lots of hooks for towels, coats, dog leashes, etc. A very comfortable place.
