We couldn’t have asked for more. It was a great trip. We’d love to come back one day. Everyone was nice and welcoming.

We had a really great time! The house perfectly accommodated our 8-person party, and it was much closer to Sand Run lake than we initially thought. We love walking around Sand Run so this was a plus. Also, the hot tub was of better quality than those we've had in the past, and it was huge- awesome. Everything was simple and quick.

We had a wonderful time and will be back! This is our second time staying at Dream Catcher, and we love the property - beautiful house and large open great room, coupled with several lofts and nooks for catching some alone time. Our absolute favorite feature is the large porch and hot tub - perfect for catching the stars on a clear night. We've rented from you around 5 times now, and we have continually been blown away by your team's responsiveness and flexibility. Thank you!

Enjoyed the serenity the cabin had to offer tucked up in a wooded cabin community. I am a sucker for a traditional rustic cabin feel and this one definitely had it. It was close to the national parks, restaurants and ski mountain as well. The only down side was the owner should really put a reflector up in front of the pond when you drive into the property upon arrival at night. All four of our cars almost ended up driving straight into the pond when we arrived after dark. It is awkwardly located at the front of the drive way in a blind spot. Other than that we would definitely book this cabin again! Great weekend getaway :)

This is the second time we have stayed in this home. It is cozy and the kids love the upstairs loft area. Only problem is that there are no screens in any of the windows or doors, so can' t get fresh air without letting in lots of insects. Be sure to bring all supplies, not much included. All in all it is as advertised and a great relaxing getaway.

Pros: Great location. Hot tub star gazing was amazing. Layout of home worked great for two families. Cons: Railings and stairs not very safe for young folks. Overall was clean, but very dusty and cobwebby in spots, especially upstairs in the loft bedroom. Not knocking the place at all - we had a great time, but there were some things that could and/or should be improved.

You might ask your cleaning team to check all appliances in the kitchen. It would take an extra 10 mins of their time. This is necessary because it appears the previous renters did not use the Dreamcatcher kitchen. I feel for other renters who come in expecting to cook up meals that require functioning appliances. A two-burner Coleman camp stove would have given us as many features as the Dreamcatcher kitchen. And please don't bait future renters with the hope of remedies. Move them to another property. We will not use Mountaintop for future trips to WV. Not good.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to get a break away from our stressful lives. We really enjoyed the stay and the cabin was beautiful. We will definitely be renting again from you next year or maybe even sooner. Thank again for everything. The whole experience was extremely easy and the vacation property was amazing. We had a great relaxing stay. This was a perfect place. Loved the inside space, fire place, and hot tub.

We spent a lot of time enjoying the back deck and hot tub! I love the layout of the house! We have been coming to Canaan for the last 25 years. We always leave (sadly) relaxed and refreshed. It's a very special place. The properties are outstanding! The staff as always goes above and beyond to meet your needs/wants! Very friendly!

Thank you Becky for getting back in touch with us and helping us out with the firewood issue. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would def book through you all again. It was however a little tricky after getting in our keys to get in touch with someone in the office. I kept getting a VM for a Matt, but Becky always responded and reached back out to us. We are interested in renting Headwaters Cabin next time we come to stay if that is one of yours that you rent out. TY AGAIN for everything! Becky responded to our firewood issue and help us to resolve, Other than that we had no immediate pressing issues during our stay.

We had a wonderful time at Dream Catcher, and will definitely visit again. The cabin was beautiful and very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking throughout the week. Our boys loved the pond for fishing in the evenings. The fire pit by the pond was an added bonus.

We loved Dream Catcher, the kids really enjoyed the hot tub. The decks off the master suite is such a great spot to relax, the stream that runs directly behind the house is so peaceful to listen to in the morning with a cup of coffee. The open concept was such a nice feature of the house. It accommodated 4 adults and 5 children very nicely. Only area in the house that was hard to maneuver in with all of us was the kitchen, so only 2-3 of us could really be in there at a time. The front porch was so relaxing to just hang. Only thing we could complain about was there weren't very many bowls or pans to cook with; there were tons of pots, pans, plates and silverware. And the drive to the cabin from the guard shack is a good ways away. But the peace and quiet you get out there is completely worth it!! We would definitely consider renting dream catcher again! We have rented from Mountaintop several times in the last few years and every time their team is so cooperative, their response time is always so fast and they are always very sweet and considerate when you have questions and concerns. We also love the book 3 nights get the 4th free, that is a deal you just can't pass up for this beautiful area.

We rented the facility for 5 days. It was a good rental and the pond was great for the 2 kids to practice fishing. The only two things I will say is: the step out front really needs to be repaired. But you can get around it. The other thing- we were four people and although you could have 8 to 10 folks because of beds, It would be very tight!

Secluded property with streams, hot tub, decks, homey cabin feel, lots of space, cute dreamcatcher decor, the upper level feels like a deck and is very rustic. Very clean.

Overall we weren’t satisfied and left a day early. A few of the reasons were: Mold growing in bathroom shower Coffee pot was disgusting Spiderwebs throughout the home especially under kitchen cabinets Steps outside in need of repair and being held up by pieces of firewood. Beds were like sleeping on a slab of granite Felt “itchy” after sleeping in beds Damper on fireplace hanging down. Not sure if it’s functional or not. This isn’t the renters fault but only one place for take out and it was HORRIBLE. So we decided to cut our losses and head home to a clean shower/bed and our house in va. We will not be back. Sorry.

Gorgeous log cabin with a large stone fireplace and hot tub. It was all 3 assets equally creating the perfect setting for a romantic relaxing stay. I love to stay there again anytime of the year. Becky and Lilli were very pleasant and helpful.

This property is beautiful and secluded. We enjoyed playing on the deck and in the woods with our grandchildren. It is very spacious inside and out. The kitchen has the bare minimum for cooking and cleaning - basically just salt and pepper, one roll of paper towels, one dishwashing pod, etc. - so pack everything you need. There is a convenience store on the main road for items you forgot. The area is lovely and the nearby town is charming.
