Barbecue grill is rusty so could not use, dehumidifier too loud had to turn off

Everything was fantastic until the night before departure.

A chore list provided the night before departure that entailed three hours of unexpected work. We had to change our flight in order to comply.

Cute little updated home - we were very comfortable. Google maps does not take you to the address so the directions the owners sent are very valuable - you'll need these before you leave your home as internet is not available in the area if you get lost. It's a little bit of a drive from Hilo - which wasn't a huge deal - but had a hard time finding a place for dinner after getting in late. I'd suggest getting groceries BEFORE you head to the house. We picked the location thinking being closer to Volcano National park would be better, but we ended up having to drive back to town to catch our tour. Not a huge deal, but defeated the purpose of staying up there. Wonderful hosts - beautiful home and yard - we took lots of photos of your landscaping/flowers. Thank you!

Lovely place close to Hilo and the Volcanoes NP. Clean, spacious and everything there you need. The contact with the owner was very friendly and helpful. Thanks for having us!
