Puteus Palace is a beautiful hotel, in a beautiful Croatian town. Staff were so professional and friendly and did everything to make you feel welcome. The room was perfect. The breakfast wonderful. We didn’t want to leave.

The only thing would be more vegetarian options, in the restaurant. The It would also be great to have a simpler lunch menu. We didn’t eat in the hotel as it was expensive for what we (as vegetarian’s) would been able to eat. There are some great plant based restaurants in Hvar, Split and Bol. The Fig is great.

Character. Relaxing interior. Comfortable room. Easy parking and access. Close to beaches.

Church next door has very loud bell which rings at 6am and then hourly, so you have to be early to bed and to rise.

Incredible Hotel. Hotel was located in the middle of town next to the harbour. The attention to detail in all aspects was superb, from Dea at breakfast who remembered everybody's drinks orders in the morning to the guys topping up the water bottle and towels at the pool. The breakfast buffet was incredible and with it included in the price I couldn't have wished for better value for money. Every member of staff was so professional and always had a smile and a " how can I make your stay better" attitude. It was my wife's birthday when we stayed and the hotel offered her a free massage at the wellness centre, which she said was fantastic. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, and look forward to our next stay. Thank you!! Only one thing to look out for. The hotel is next to a Church. The bell rings every hour on the hour, but you do become adjusted to it after a couple of days.

The staff were extremely attentive and friendly. The pool area was beautiful as was the terrace. The breakfast was excellent although it would have been nice to be outside. Beautiful little harbour with good places to swim in the sea all towels available from the hotel.

We were in a King room which was expensive, we were disappointed that a lot of space was taken by a sloping ceiling, the view was obscured by the church, the bath was extremely narrow and the shower over the bath was virtually unusable as a stand up shower because of the sloping roof. Unfortunately the jacuzzi was not working during our stay.

The view from the room over the town was beautiful. The pool and outside areas were perfect, very chilled and attentive staff always on hand to offer service. The restaurant food was also exceptional.

No coffee machine and the room felt a bit snug. No obvious place to put on the kettle.

A very good experience! Loved the quiet pool area, and the cuisine at the outdoor terasse was excellent. Breakfast was also very good. The staff in generel were always very serviceminded and friendly. A beutiful and great hotel that I will highly recommend to others.

One thing that could be improved was that it didnt seem like there was much infomation about offers of daily excurtions, such as boat trips and such ... It could have been nice if the reception would have had some flyers on daily boat trips, or winetasting on a local winery or a tour to a olive oil plantage - or something like that. So that the guests could be better informed on what kind of excurtions and activities the island had to offer and so that the hotel staff could help book it for you.

Every little thing. It is a totally our kind of butique hotel that has the simplicity, style, elegance and cosy. Especially because it tells a story of Pučišća. Brač stone and history.

There’s nothing we don’t like about the place. It’s perfect.

We stayed at this hotel few times in past few years . it is a nice experience to stay here whilist wanting to explore island or just enjoy the hotel .Pool area is very quiet and nice for relaxing altough sun is gone from around 6 pm .But you can go for a dip in the sea in only few min walk from hotel to catch the evening sun. Room was nice and pretty with comfy bed. We liked the breakfast too and set up in cellar where is nice and cool .

One thing that can be improved is kitchen, we did not like the food the first time we came or this time in a dinner restaurant . It simply does not match standard of hotel.

We loved everything about the Puteus Palace, just wish we had booked to stay longer. The amazing staff, hotel facilities, beautiful room, location on the harbour and wonderful restaurant were all first class.

Breakfast was delicious, but a shame not to enjoy it outside in the courtyard, which is so nice in the morning.

Beautiful romantic place with a hidden pool garden that makes you feel like a royal, just like the heartbreaking friendly staff. Everything was super clean, the food especially the included breakfast was amazing and we felt home in this white sandstone castle.

The staff were all so nice and attentive. The hotel was so relaxing we found we didn’t leave the hotel much. Breakfast choice was great - so much variety. We had an issue with our AC and they changed our room for us (upgrade) straight away and we’re very apologetic. We wanted to play chess by the pool and they brought the chess set to us by the pool.

Like others have mentioned, you do hear the church bell. For us personally it wasn’t a problem. Bring earplugs.

This is one of the most charming places we have ever stayed. It is small and very quiet, the food is excellent and the staff are wonderful. The village and the bay are beautiful and there are nice restaurants dotted about. We liked Puteus so much we booked to go back for an extra 4 nights after a week on the mainland. Will definitely be going back in the future too.

Fabulous hotel, room exceptional. Superb swimming pool and the restaurant for dinner is exceptional. All the staff are friendly and professional. Loved it!!!!

This Place is Beautiful! Mid May is the perfect time to go. Not very hot and not a lot of people. We literally had the hotel all to our selves, The hotel staff was lovely and they even surprised us with an room upgrade. The breakfast had everything and more and so well presented. The wait staff was also very attentive. The room was great with wonderful fluffy beds and the hotel grounds where beautiful. The pool was great and if you look around the grass you can even see some tortoises. The people of Hvar and all the hotel staff were so lovely.

We really loved everything but the aircos never did get very cold, but definitely colder than it was outside. Other than that is was a perfect stay.
