The electricity went out and there went the heat and lights, and it was a cold time. However, the host did the best he could. The only problem is the bedrooms are upstairs and the single bath is downstairs. If you can deal with that this place is well situated by a pretty creek, and it is a fine rustic cabin. It does not have a real fireplace..

Bob’s Cozy Cabin is well named: it’s all-wood interior, location above a stream, and woodsy environment make you feel good. The interior was very clean, the location is amazingly convenient both for nearby business (like a great coffee/ice-cream shop). The upstairs (two bedrooms separated by a curtained door) can requires careful walking (to avoid bumping your head if you’re not a short person) and navigating steep stairs. The cabin was built and added to over time with great affection, and the stairs are worth a careful look both for the wood and the construction.

We loved being right at the river. It was so peaceful. It was sweltering hot when we arrived but the owner said to just open all the windows and turn on the fan and it would cool off. He was right and we had a delightful stay!

This property was as advertised. The scenery was beautiful. The hot tub was enjoyable after hiking around the mountains all day!

We stayed here with friends last year and were thrilled to be able to make it back again this year. This is a great little cabin to fill up with a few of your closest friends and enjoy. We skied Crystal, the snow was great, the hot tub kept our bodies in operating condition. We'll be back again next year!

This is pretty much a perfect location, and is definitely a cute cabin. However, unfortunately it is not very well set up. The kitchen is pretty unstocked with stuff that you need, there's a tiny stove that is missing all but one of the knobs and even that one is broken and so you have to sort of squeeze it really tight with your hands to twist the burner knobs to get anything to work. There was no broom or dustpan except for the one in the garbage can that apparently was broke, but I found one buried in the leaves outside and so I used that to sweep up a bit. Hot tub wayer was cloudy and the hot tub could not stay warm with a lid off when it was pretty cold outside, and so no one really felt comfortable using the hot tub at all after the first try. Several of the doors don't really seal so a cold draft comes through. There were virtually no hooks to hang any coats or anything on except for in the far back area of the house by the bathroom. I think this could be a really great place just with little work and upkeep. The location is truly excellent though, being really close to the tourist store and the bar just down the dirt road. And of course being just 20 minutes from Crystal. It's a fine place to stay, just bring pretty much anything special you might need to cook with and don't expect there to be spices and stuff that you might need stocked. I would stay here again, but I think I would just come a little more prepared with extra stuff to make it a little smoother experience.

My son and I enjoyed the rustic cabin very much. Everything you need including a hot tub after a few days of skiing the slopes.

We had a fun ski weekend with our grandkids. The property manager was so responsive and helpful. Cabin well represented, very rustic! It was like a big family slumber party.

We stayed at Bob's cabin, it's cute, cozy, and close to skiing, it could use a little tlc. But overall we injoyed are stay. The beds are all upstairs and mostly all connected, if your looking to share this cabin with another couple, you'll have a curtain separating you from the othere beds, but perfect for families, the hot tub is on the back porch covered, very nice, overlooking the river,

Neighborhood is very family friendly and the owner had clear and simple communication that kept the check in process low hassle. Kids loved the loft sleeping area, and the hot tub. Would definitely rent again.

This has an absolute wonderful location! We were able to see huge salmon swimming up the river. However, we were very disappointed that the hot tub was not working. We did get a small refund, but the hot tub was a big part of our evening plans so we would have looked for a different place altogether. It is very dark inside, and the rooms upstairs are all hooked together. It was just us 2, so that was fine, but if you were planning on other people, it’s not very private. I spent some time cleaning the kitchen and then realized it was not us that made the splatters on the kitchen walls. Again, beautiful location, but the cabin is very very rustic and dark.

We enjoyed our 3-day stay at Bob’s cabin! A bit more rustic than we had expected, but very cozy. The neighborhood was quiet and the cabin had everything we needed for our short visit. We loved the close proximity to Wapiti’s for coffee in the morning and huckleberry ice cream in the evening, as well as Nache’s Tavern for a good meal after a long day of hiking at Mount Rainier. The cabin is very shaded by the trees and quite dark inside — there were a few times we found ourselves wishing there were brighter lamps available, especially on the second floor to navigate the steps and low ceilings! Overall it was a nice and relaxing visit - thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

First, what we didn't love: as an older property, there was a distinctly musty smell upon entering. It is also in need of grout cleaning in the shower (the grout is obviously a dark color, but nevertheless, it was clear there was mildew/mold buildup that needs removing). What we loved: great location convenient to Mt. Rainier, nicely stocked pantry, responsive owner, lovely hot tub overlooking the river, fire pit with roasting sticks, nicely updated windows, bathroom fixtures, pretty comfortable beds, plenty of towels, clear instructions. With just a little attention to the grout and perhaps an air filter, this property will just shine!

Enjoyed a short visit to this property in Greenwater WA. Very comfortable cabin right on the Greenwater river…excellent location near Mt Rainier NP Sunrise area or Crystal Mountain ski area. Also short walking distance to the Naches Tavern. Great place to stay.

Nice and cozy place. Loved sitting in the hot tub with the sound of the river close by. Found a pair of long John’s and dirty socks that belonged to a previous renter in the bed upstairs. Makes one wonder about the cleanliness or attention to detail from the cleaning staff.

We had a great time at Bob's Cabin and loved sitting on the deck in the back listening to the meandering river. The hot tub was a plus after hiking at Mount Rainier! Only about 30 mins from Mt Rainier's entrance and close to Sunrise - which is where we wanted to go!

The cabin was cozy and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Michael was very helpful and responsive, and came over right away to help with a small oven issue. He gave us a great suggestion for a gorgeous place to hike nearby. The hot tub overlooking the river was a dreamy place to relax after a day of hiking. Very nice place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay in Bob’s Cozy Cabin! It was extremely close to the hikes we planned in Mt. Rainier and a short distance to Crystal Mountain if you’re interested in taking the gondola to Summit House or for skiing. This cabin is SO peaceful overlooking the river and we had everything we needed to cook breakfasts and dinners for our family. We enjoyed watching the elk graze across the river while we relaxed in the hottub after our days exploring Mt. Rainier. Our family also loved playing the games and poker that were in the hall closet! Highly recommend staying in this cozy cabin!

Cabin is in what we considered a residential area. We woke the first morning to construction trucks and heavy equipment passing the cabin. Later that afternoon the property owner showed up and was going to stay at his residence next door for the remainder of our stay. It was hard to feel any sense of privacy with him sitting on his deck watching us. He also wanted to do yard work on the property while we were there.
We opted to pack up and go home. We did receive a small refund but overall a complete waist of time.

Nicely appointed cabin. Great location near local shops and a pleasant drive to Crystal Mountain, hiking, etc. The river made for great white noise at night.
