Das Kdwood Cottage liegt nur 19 km vom Südtor des Yosemite-Nationalparks und 6 km vom beliebten Bass Lake entfernt. Die Lage am Lewis Creek auf 3000 Metern Höhe bietet kühle Sommer und milde Winter. Die Unterkünfte sind perfekt für zwei Personen. . Die Wand zum Schlafzimmer ist eine halbe Wand ohne Tür. Es verfügt über ein weiches Queensize-Bett, ein Sofa zieht sich zu einem überraschend bequemen Kingsize-Bett zusammen, ist jedoch beim Öffnen ziemlich voll. Es gibt ein großes Badezimmer mit einer Badewanne mit Klauenfüßen und eine voll ausgestattete Küche für alle, die speisen möchten. Mehrere Restaurants sind nur 5 km entfernt in Oakhurst sowie ein Restaurant am Bass Lake. Sie haben vollen Zugang zu Lewis Creek, um es in Ihrer Freizeit zu genießen.

Kadi was super helpful and responded to all our queries very fast which we really appreciated given that we had concerns regarding the weather that time coming up to Yosemite. Nonethless, the home itself was cozy and my favorite thing about it was the bird feeder by the kitchen window where hummingbirds frequented!

Everything was incredibly smooth from the start. Very clean and tidy little cottage. Had a lovely little get away with my partner and dogs! Destination is close to tons of cool spots. Host was very responsive and delightful. 10/10 recommend!

The place was just what i needed for a short 2 night stay. It has all the amenities and even has a creek ruining in backyard with stone formations.
Park is only 20 min drive away and a cool Saloon is around the corner.
Recommend.

This was a perfect place for my husband and I to spend Christmas. The area is beautiful and quiet. Sitting outside and listening to the creek was lovely, as was visiting the creek and picnicking on the large boulders along the water.
It is a very small place, maybe best if your intention is to spend a lot of time in town or at Yosemite. Sometimes we choose to spend our entire time at whatever cabin we rent because it's just so cozy and comfortable and feels like our dream home. This location is not quite that, but it does have everything you need to be comfortable, cook meals, enjoy nature and quiet, etc.
I've had a ton of issues with the Vrbo site but thankfully the host included all the necessary info needed via email, and her number was at the location. If it wasn't for her communication, I'm not sure we would've been able to have our trip!

Comfortable and wonderful stay in the woods. The home is warm and inviting. I wish we could’ve stated longer and plan to return. Highly recommend this beautiful log cottage to anyone needing sanctuary.

This was such a great cozy cottage just perfect for me and my spouse and our dog. We wanted a place to stay and explore Yosemite. Perfect for Yosemite, and Oakhurst is just down the road for food and snacks. The cottage was super clean and had all the amenities necessary. Great communication with the host. Highly recommend.

We stayed here to be near Yosemite and it was a perfect place to launch our exploration.
For your planning purposes, be prepared to drive to the main attractions like Glacier Point (one hour 30 minutes) so plan your visit accordingly. The valley floor is one hour 20 minutes.
The entire area is beautiful and the property has a grill and outside area, movies and is clean!

The cottage is small but very clean, exactly same as description. The bed is too soft for me and the TV is mounted very high. Overall we are happy with our stay.

This cozy cottage was a nice place for my husband and I to stay while we were visiting Yosemite. The kitchen was a little snug while cooking a full breakfast. But it served its purpose.

My best friend of 45 years is wrapping his life up and one of his bucket list items was to go to a cabin just myself and him to recharge and enjoy each others company. Him and I were very satisfied and happy with the cabin. Everything about te cabin was great.

My sister and I came for a lovely stay while visiting Yosemite. The property is natural and pretty. Two things I’d adjust would be that the bath/shower doesn’t drain well (toilet handle could be adjusted for ease), and the sofa could use some improvement. Other than that, we enjoyed the place very much, and would happily recommend.

Location was awesome, well stocked and comfortable. The couch was not really comfortable, everything else great. We would recommend the ATV rental shop just west on 41. Do the guided tour to Mariposa Grove. Excellent!

This is a funky cool little place that worked really well for us. We are travelers that don't need high brow luxury and actually appreciate places that have their own style and personality. This place fits that description. It is small so that could be an issue for some but we were there to take advantage of Yosemite and not to hang out for an extended stay. Still, we prepared two dinners and breakfasts while there and the kitchen is surprisingly very well-equipped. Kadi (host) was super responsive and clearly invests in her rental and her guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We loved staying at this cute cottage. It was the perfecg size. Also, there was a beautiful waterfalls within a block from the cottage. Definitely would stay again.

My husband and I had originally booked this cottage for last March but due to all the rain and snow we had to reschedule our trip for this September. Communicating with Kadi throughout the cancellation and rebooking was easy and delightful. The cottage was in a great location just outside the South Gate entrance to Yosemite Park. The inside was cute and cozy and had nice claw foot tub for hot baths after all the hiking. The cleaning lady Luana was also very nice and when it was available for an early check in she notified us. We would definitely stay at this cottage again.

I received accurate and understandable directions to the property, with easy access to parking. The cabin was very clean and very inviting. Traveling alone can be nerve-racking but I never felt that every detail was addressed. The cabin is a 20 minute drive to the south entrance of Yosemite National Park, which was perfect for my visit to Yosemite.
The bathroom had fluffy white towels and a lovely mountain view. The bed was soft and inviting. I loved that there were 4 pillows too! The small deck area was great for plopping down and relaxing.
All in all, I was so happy with my choice. My trip was fantastic and my stay at the cabin was a big part of that!

Location was very quiet and comfy. Inside was very clean and organized and it made you feel at home. Down the hill is a creek that was very fun to adventure and you can relax in it as well if you want. Overall, this is a location ill stay at again.

Stayed here with my wife and it's perfectly sized for 2 people. 20 minutes from south entrance of Yosemite. A couple miles from town. Quiet. Relaxing. Owner texted when it was cleaned so we could check in early. Great little spot for a.couple days in the Yosemite area.

The cabin was perfectly located for our trip to Bass Lake. Just a few minutes from the lake, Oakhurst and Yosemite in a quiet neighborhood with a private swimming hole. The owner and property manager were easy to reach and very responsive.

This VRBO far exceeded our expectation. Such a lovely cabin with everything you could ever need. Very well appointed and the extra touches did not go unnoticed. Kadi was such a lovely host and was in touch with us often to make sure we knew where to go as well as check-in procedure. We could not have asked for a better experience. We had a pleasant and comfortable 5 days at the cottage which is conveniently located about 25 minutes from Yosemite's south gate. And then it's not too much farther to Mariposa Grove which was for us the highlight of the Park. We also benefited from being just outside the town of Oakhurst and all its commercial facilities. The cottage is quite compact but reasonably stocked with kitchen and bathroom needs as well as a Roku TV, not to mention the A/C which served us well when the outside temperature went over a 100 degrees. Many thanks to the owners for providing us with the opportunity to stay here and enjoy Yosemite National Park.
