Highly recommend this property! The booking process went smoothly and the property had all the elements for a relaxing family weekend. The cabin came well-equipped with all kitchen items; all the rooms were spacious and cozy. The hot tub was a great option for the beautiful fall weather. The property was extremely clean, and we hope to return soon!

I booked this cabin for the 1 year anniversary passing of my brother and it was absolutely perfect. I had been looking for a larger property for months and couldn’t find one to fit my needs but then I found this property and Eric was so kind and accommodating I had to book it.
Eric was communicative throughout the whole process and made sure everything was seamless, I can’t thank him enough.
The property itself was so serine and just what me and my family needed. Whether cozied up by the fire or enjoying the firefly’s on the porch, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and property to stay at.

My family and I had a wonderful, short visit at "The Pines!" The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The serene location was ideal and the frequent visits from the deer and turkey were appreciated.

Our annual gathering of girl fiends/roommates from college was great. The Pines Cabin had plenty of comfortable space for group gab sessions, TV viewing, game playing, cooking and eating. The privacy of the country setting was great - only a few deer walking by to check on us. Making the reservation, checking in, and departing was very easy. Would rent it again.

We stayed here with family as we all came to the area for a wedding. The house is in a beautiful & peaceful location - very relaxing! The kids had lots of space to run around and play. We all had a great time :)

Enjoyed the solitude and the beautiful cabin. Great if you want to enjoy the peace and quiet and take a dip in the hot tub. Lansing's coffee on the river is fantastic as well!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. So easy find and close to many things that we wanted to do. We did have a slight problem when we first arrived and reached out to the manager right away. She responded immediately and it was corrected within an hour! I will no doubt be returning in the future.

This is a beautiful cabin inside and out. We throughly enjoyed our stay! Such a beautiful view out back especially with the fall color. Loved sitting in the hot tub outside on deck underneath the stars. Hosts have thought of everything you might need to have during your stay! We definitely plan on coming back!

Super Clean, Super Inviting! Everything you would be looking for in a cabin in the bluff country. The view was amazing from the deck as well as the fire pit as you looked across a prairie grass field into a large wooded area where you would expect a deer to come wandering out at any moment. Eric was great to work with and if you have the opportunity, ask him about how this cabin came to be. HINT: It involves a cocktail napkin, a pen and a tavern. We're already looking forward to a return trip to The Pines. Thank You for sharing your amazing cabin with us. -- Tom & Jan

Amazing Getaway!
I have never taken the time to write a review but absolutely had to for this property. Eric Knutson, the property manager, was very kind and responds quickly to communications. The cabin and property itself are beautiful and peaceful. The cabin was spacious and perfect for 8 of us on a girl's weekend. The sky at night is amazing and we sat up late into the night watching shooting stars. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and lounging on the deck. We were able to watch deer run down the woodline. The village of Ferryville is just a quick drive down the road. We enjoyed lunch and some drinks at the local watering holes that sit right across from the Mississippi River. I had one of the best burgers I've ever eaten at Swede's Swing Inn. Everyone was very friendly and we enjoyed seeing eagles along the river. We definitely will be returning to the area and renting from Knutson Property Services.

It was very easy, the property management sent check in instructions and had all the information about check out on hand at the property. We all thoroughly enjoyed the property and it was just as described online. Beautiful view to enjoy and relax.

Family Vacay at the Pines
We had an excellent stay. The Cabin was beautiful, and nice and quiet. On the day we checked out it was snowing and we couldn’t get out of the driveway. I called Eric, and within 20 minutes he had the driveway ready and we were on our way. I would definitely rent out this Cabin again in the future. Thanks again Eric!

We enjoyed being unplugged in the quiet retreat of this home. It was very relaxing, comfortable and well stocked. The hot tub was a nice bonus.

We couldn't hear the train along the river quite as much either. Although the property is quite secluded, there are neighbors close enough to hear at times when you are outside. You can't see the house through the trees, so there is still plenty of privacy. I think we preferred Sunset Haven a bit more, but I would stay at either place again without hesitation.
