My daughter, 2 nieces and my sister and I came to Maui to celebrate my sister’s 75th Birthday, which was on 8/8/23. The property that we stayed in was beautiful and perfect for our stay. However, on Tuesday night at 7:30 (8/8/23) we had to evacuate the property because of the fire in Lahiana. We stayed that night in our vehicles in the Walmart parking lot in Kahului and then had to find someplace else to stay after that, as nobody was allowed to return to Puamana or anywhere in Lahiana, as Lahiana had been destroyed by the fire. We were thankful to see in the aerial photos after the fire that the individual property that we had stayed in was still standing and looked untouched, even though others in the same development were totally destroyed. Our hearts go out to the people of Lahiana and Maui and pray for their complete recovery.

This property was sensational. It is more beautiful than the photos portray. It was immaculately clean, included small appliances, like hairdryer, blender, iron, etc. and included all kitchen items needed to prepare family meals. The large washer and dryer was a great perk for a family of six. The owner was very helpful in providing us with information regarding his home, the development, and nearby Lahaina prior to, and while staying during our vacation.

This property was well maintained and could not be a better location. Easy access to the ocean and the beach at Puamana was among the best on the island. We highly recommend staying at this property. Right off the the south end of Front St. put us on the south end of Lahaina.if we could give more than 5 stars we would!

This property exceeded our expectations. The interior is beachy chic and instantly puts you in vacation mode. The kitchen is gorgeous with modern updates. Everything was organized, clean and easy to find. Beds were super comfy and sleeping was a dream with soundscape of the ocean. I could go on about how beautifully appointed the condo is but our favorite part was the location. It is very close to town and our favorite beaches. The lanai has a great sense of privacy and was our favorite place to relax and enjoy the serenity of the ocean. The beach is just steps away and never crowded like many other places on Maui. The pool was a wonderful surprise, we did not plan on spending much time there thinking the beaches would be the best spots, but this pool was so special. It’s positioned right over the ocean and you get a little sea spray at certain times. A wonderful place to watch the sunset.
We spent many of our days exploring the island of Maui and had an amazing time, but looking back I wish we had just stayed at Puamana more and simply relaxed. It was the best part of our trip!

This beach house was fantastic. Very nice and updated, plenty of space, and great views. My son and I tried surfing for the first time (boards not included), and we were able to do it right out in front of the beach house. Very close to main Lahaina, so easy to go shopping, or out to eat, or even to the docks to go out fishing. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had while we were there as well.

Puamana is fantastic and so is this unit. We did not use the AC once: left the door open and the screen shot and slept with the nursing sound of the ocean. The view is unparalleled: just sit down at the living room or in the varanda (upstairs or downstairs) and watch the sunset right in front of you. The unit is well stocked, charming, and comfortable. In hindsight, we wished we had booked more days. We hope to return soon.

Conveniently located to Lahaina ! Easy 15 minute walk to the Banyan tree and Lahaina harbor...Front Street is a family favorite to visit in Maui and we were steps away outside the main gate or out the pedestrian gate. Property is definitely family friendly. 136-1 was clean and spacious. Loved listening to the surf outside our window. Would recommend to other friends and family and a good place to stay. Thanks for the Aloha! Our Ohana enjoyed!

Our group of 3 adult couples loved the place! We spent so much time on the lanai (patio) where we had a wide view of the ocean and nearby islands. We watched nearly every sunrise and sunset, and spent a lot of time in the ocean right outside the house. Amazing, would definitely stay again!

The property is fabulous! With the stunning view of the ocean and the beach right out front, it doesn't get any better than this. Lahaina is a nice little walk or a short drive away. The unit itself has everything you need to stay in and cook or just hang out and enjoy the beach. This includes a washer and dryer to wash all your dirty beach towels. All of the restaurant recommendations were awesome and did not disappoint. If you didn't want to explore the Island, you could be perfectly happy just hanging out in this unit. I would recommend it to anyone!

This trip started in Oahu as our 86 year old Aunt requested a trip to Pearl Harbor on her bucket list. We wanted to add a stay in Maui, as we had been there before and loved it. We brought our two adult sons, and our daughter in-law. It was our first "family trip" in many years.
We wanted to spoil them and find a great spot, on the beach. This property didn't disappoint. The pictures and description are accurate and as described. You will find yourself on the shoreline, listening to and watching the waves roll in. You can see the sunrise to the east, and set in the west. There are two islands visible directly to the south. We spent much time swimming in the surf and watching others surfboard.
At night, we were able to open the doors and let the sound of the surf spread through the condo unit. The interior is premium quality.
The HOA (homeowner's association) has lots of rules, but it helps to keep the neighborhood quiet and peaceful.
If I plan to return to Maui, I will definitely hope to find this property available. You won't regret staying here. In fact, you will likely find yourself wondering how lucky you were to book such a spectacular property, right on the beach in a fairly private spot. It will be hard to beat.

This magical ocean front property made our visit to Maui an incredible experience. Very comfortable with all the amenities you could ask for. The need to stock up on anything other than food and drinks gave us more time to enjoy the island. We will without a doubt be choosing this property the next time we return.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay in Puamana. The view from the patio / lanai will stay with us forever. Simply breath-taking. The home is very clean and comfortable and is in a very good location - just a 1 mile walk to the center of town. The beach is quite a hike though - kidding! It's only 30 feet from the patio. Communication with the property managers was extremely quick and helpful. We'd definitely stay here again.

Warm cozy restful break
Beautiful ocean front property in a gated community . Clean and spacious for our family of 4 , each room was cosy and nicely decorated in hues of sea blue . The owner - Thomas was quick to respond having informed us of the broken ocean door latch and we felt safe in the property even with the ocean door broken. The kitchen was well stocked with range of utensils and spices . Check-in , though late at 4pm, but was smooth with all minute details provided in advance provided via email. The ocean view from the master bedroom was breathtaking in the moonlight.

ABSOLUTLEY PERFECT!!!
Our stay at Puamana 136-1 was everything we expected and more. From the check-in, check-out instructions to the detailed information about the house and surrounding area, we could not have asked for a better place to stay. We had a couple questions about the property over the couple days and the team that supports this unit were extremely responsive and helpful. Next time we visit Maui, we won't stay anywhere else but here! Thanks so much for a wonderful experience for our family!!!

Family trip of a lifetime
We had such an amazing time in Maui! I think we had the best place in Puamana. We could literally sit on the patio from early morning to night watching surfers!! So fun to see and catch some amazing sunsets. The condo is perfect size for my family and the kitchen is beautiful with high end appliances. Puamana is a well kept grounds and community and you feel very safe there being gated and all. I can’t wait to go back!! I would definitely stay here again.

Checkin was a breeze, the view was gorgeous, the beach access was so easy we could get in the water whenever we wanted with ease (even with a toddler). The home was beautiful and very clean. We enjoyed the sunset every night outside. The community has a lot of rules but the owners are very clear and upfront about them all. The other residents are very friendly and nice. Even when we screwed up and forgot to register our car (we got distracted by enjoying the beautiful view and beach our first day) the owners were very communicative and understanding. Had a wonderful vacation 100% because of this rental. Would love to return.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The grounds are beautiful; the pools provided a nice relief from the sun; and the view is fantastic. Watching whales breach while sitting in the sun or the shade of the lanai is my idea of a perfect vacation. Thank you Tom.

Wanted to stay forever
Beautifully kept, secured community setting. Felt very safe there with my precious grandchildren. The home is lovely, comfortable and has everything anyone could need. It is so close to the ocean that the sound of the waves is constant which we loved. Favorite area was the back patio. Incredible palm trees, sunsets and the perfect place to soak in the sun and beauty of nature. Such a place of peace and healing. Played in the ocean and felt like a kid again. The owners are so kind and quick to respond to emails/texts. I would stay there again without any hesitation. I wish I was there right now!!

I recommend this property , but please be advised that only 2 vehicles per unit are allowed IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD, period. If the owner has his surf board transport vehicle parked at the unit, you can have only one. The HOA is very unforgiving about this. If you will have 2 vehicles, you should contact the owner well in advance of arrival.

Really wonderful to stay steps away from the back door to the Ocean and listen to the waves all day and night. Puamana is a great family location for all ages and a short walk/ride/drive to Lahaina. Thomas' unit was so well stocked and had all of the utensils and appliances you could ask for (best knife set ever!)

Bedrooms have plantation style bedding and the beds were insanely comfy with high quality linens and extra pillows, etc. Honestly these owners thought of everything!
There are so many special touches I cannot even list all of them, and as a family that comes regularly to Maui, nothing went unnoticed. We much prefer staying in condos as opposed to hotels to get the homey feel, and this unit exceeded our expectations. It was everything in the photographs, and more.

Unforgettable views and crashing waves just outside your window
What a trip!
The location of this unit and the unbelievable view from the Lanai are both outstanding - we couldn’t have asked for a better set up.
The home is well appointed and was the perfect place for my family to celebrate my moms birthday and reconnect. Our hosts left out a few supplies (paper towels, laundry pods, etc.) to get us started before we were able to get to the grocery store, which was much appreciated since we arrived later in the evening. There were also some beach chairs and umbrellas on the lanai that were a nice treat for lazy afternoons :-).
Just a few small notes - the master isn’t fully enclosed (it’s more of a loft style) and doesn’t cool fully as a result. That being said, the room has a spectacular view and you hear the ocean waves all night - so soothing. We also had a dryer issue that wasn’t communicated to us until after we arrived. Our hosts tried their best to resolve it prior to our departure; however, we did not have a working dryer for our stay. Finally, parking is a bit of a challenge since there’s not an official spot, but we got into the hang of it after a few tries :-).
We stayed at a hotel for our last night since the unit was booked out so far in advance and that night away reminded us just how lucky we were to have gotten this unit for the days we did - we highly recommend it despite the few hiccups we experienced. We were so spoiled with the views and privacy with the island so crowded.

This is the place you want to stay when visiting Maui. Every single thing about this home was perfect. I brought my mother and 3 daughters ages 9, 11, amd 15 and another friend that was 15. We had plenty of room and never felt on top of each other. We were able to buy groceries at the safe way amd cook and eat most of our eats at the house, they had every thing we needed.(it is very expensive to eat out every meal while in Maui, especially with 6) The appliances were top of the line, the bedding was very comfortable, and the owner was very accommodating. You could go to Maui and never leave this home and be perfectly fine. I really enjoyed just sitting on the back porch, having breakfast or dinner with family and watching the most amazing sunsets you've ever seen. The house is litteraly right on the ocean, you can hear the waves aa you sleep, you walk of the back door and the Ocean is 30 ft away!! There is a outdoor shower at the back of house to wash sand off which is very convenient, chairs to layout with,etc. When you do want to venture out you are about a 5 minute drive to downtown Lahina which has so many great restaurants and shops everywhere! (Be sure to make your dinner reservations months in advance as they are hard to get into,, Fleetwooods was our favorite and I highly recommend...ask for the rooftop!)This is truly a one of a kind place, I've traveled and stayed at many places but this one is the best. Do not hesitate to book this property, you will not be disappointed!
