Stayed here for a long weekend with two other families. Our kids had a blast playing around the pond and exploring the huge property. The house was so expansive and we felt like each family had enough privacy from each other when needed (naps and such). The home is a quick 5 min drive from Friday harbor and all it has to offer. Dinner places were a bit hit or miss for our large party so having a fully equipped kitchen was a real lifesaver. Definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a larger space to host multiple families!

Location near Friday Harbor was very convenient. The house is very spacious and the kids loved the game room and swimming in the pond. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and we were able to cook in for several meals. No air conditioning (which is common in the northwest) but we were able to cool off the house with open windows during the evenings and mornings.

This is our second time staying here. We just love the grounds and the pond and the views and the beautiful house and the well-stocked kitchen. What a great place to hang out and play games all day and you are just a few minutes from town.

This was the perfect place for our family to stay. So much to do at the house and so close to Friday Harbor but it still felt rural and private. We’d like to come back!

The dock, boats, fire pit, zip line, and sitting area, and back yard generally were in horrible condition. The area hadn’t been mowed in quite a while and there was goose poop all over the place. Other birds added their contributions to the decks, chairs, and walkways. The pond was so overgrown with whatever was growing in there that no one wanted to touch the water. The zip line was broken (but because we didn’t want to get in the water, we wouldn’t have used it anyway) and the boats were dirty with plenty of old water sitting in them.The cleaners were still there when we checked in at 4pm because the previous guests had apparently made such a mess of the place, including the hot tub. They worked hard to get the hot tub in working order, and was ready for our use on the second night. They also had someone mowing the front lawn on our 2nd to last day, so maybe we happened to rent the place at an unfortunate time before landscape maintenance could be completed.To end on a high note, we still enjoyed the spacious home with a fun game room and a tremendous view of the valley and distant hills. The slip and slide was a highlight for our kids. The game room offered countless options for entertainment. We did “Family Olympics” using the bocce ball set and corn hole. The home was beautiful inside and out. The kitchen was well appointed in the beds were some of that comfy as we have ever slept on in a VRBO. We only wished we could have stayed longer.

The home was amazing. We have been renting homes on VRBO for the past year when we want to get away. And by far this has been the best stocked most beautiful and comfortable home we have stayed in.
