Nur eine kurze 15 Minuten, um Sevierville, 20 Minuten nach Tanger Outlets und Governors Crossing, 20 Minuten zum Dollywood / Splash Country, Wilderness at the Smokies Waterpark und 30 Minuten, um Gatlinburg und den Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

The cabin had a great layout and the view was amazing. We would have cancelled our reservation had we known the dock was in disrepair and the lake levels were too low to fix it, however, we didn't receive that update until 48 hours before check in. We understand weather isn't always predictable but knowing the water needed to come up approx 15 feet is something that would be known well before cancellation period was over.It indeed is almost an hour drive from the cabin to Gatlinburg, however, the drive didn't bother us and the comfort of the cabin itself was worth 5 stars. The communication about the dock brought it down a star for us. We would stay again after the dock is repaired.

Stained towels in master bath & burn stain on floor4 burn marks on carpet in front of fireplace. No hair dryer provided. Carpet needs stretching and seams redone in several areas. No cookie sheet or baking pans, aluminum foil, baggies or Saran Wrap provided. No fire starter sticks for fireplace. No sunsets as advertised visible from porch

We rented the cabin mainly because of the location to Douglas lake and it having a dock on site. The host communicated with us before check in and explained that the lake was extremely low this year and due to that the dock could not be maintenance and would not be available during our visit. All this was heartbreaking. But We understand with nature that it could not be helped, but upon arrival, the cabin to our left, their dock had a big pontoon boat sitting at it, although we only wanted to bank fish off of our dock we feel that the dock not being maintenance and available this year had nothing to do with the low lake because there was plenty of water the dock was floating nicely. Not sure the reason but feel 100% in our heart that the low lake level was not the cause of the dock not being available so that did upset us as well as break our hearts. The cabin its self was really nice and clean.
