The home is so comfortable, everything has been thought of to make the stay delightful. We felt as if we were in our own home. The pictures in the listing are accurate and if anything the home is even better in person. Julie is the most responsive and thoughtful host we may have ever had.

First it is important to note that Julie is an excellent host. Her level of communication is first class. This home is a perfect spot for a family to spend time together. Easy access to the beach and walking trails. Indoor and outdoor gathering areas with comfortable bedrooms. The sunsets on the upper deck are breathtaking.

Travelled to CA to attend USA Ultimate Club Nationals in nearby Del Mar, with my daughter (17), Dad (74) and Step-Mother. I am so glad I found this house to stay at while we were here! Lots of space to relax and unwind, whether around the gas firepit, at the outdoor bar, or laying by the pool and hot tub. Heaven! The space can certainly accommodate a group much larger than ours easily. Location is great, close to the freeway and the coast, lots of great restaurants to choose from in the area. Easy access to all the region has to offer! We had zero issues, the owner was great communicating the few times I had a question and was quick to offer local recommendations. 100% recommend staying here, we will certainly be renting again the next time we travel to the area!

We absolutely loved our stay at Julie’s house! Nice open floor plan. The kitchen has everything you need to have dinner with family. It is fully stocked with everything imaginable for your stay. The outside area is nothing short of Amazing. From the pool to the hot tub or a quiet nook somewhere to read a book as the cool coastal breeze runs through. The neighbourhood is very peaceful and we felt very safe staying there. The beds are very comfortable as is the living room area. The view from the upper deck is just spectacular! I would definitely recommend this home and can’t wait to go back. Thank you Julie :)

We loved the property. It is probably the best VRBO we have stayed. Plenty of room for our family of six; with two adults and four children age 4 months up to 12 years. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the basic ingredients needed for cooking and extensive crockery, pots and pans. The pool was a bit chilly for the adults but the kids loved it. Great location near a grocery store and beaches. We look forward to staying again.

First of all the property is spectacular. Anything and everything you would need is there. I vacationed with my daughter and grandchildren and they enjoyed it immensely. To the point that they didn't even want to go to the beach because they were having too much fun in the pool and outdoor activities. Julie is amazing. She is quick to answer questions you may have and very pleasant to deal with. By far this is one of the best staycations I've had in a longer while. Thank you Julie!

We loved our stay here and will defiantly visit again when in the area. The backyard is so fun and inside was well stocked. We were there mid October so the not heated pool was colder than we expected but it was fine we still went I. Multiple days. It clearly called that out in the listing so not a problem. All rooms were nice and dark for the kids and a very quiet neighborhood. With great location to Lego land.

This house is wonderful ! We stayed for 1 week and we are already looking to book for future dates . The house has a beautiful backyard with pool, hot tub, badminton set up, fire pit , and many places to sit and lounge . The inside has a nice layout -very comfortable , clean, and extra blankets , pillows , and towels . The neighborhood is quiet and well kept . Julie the owner is accommodating and made our stay easy and pleasurable .

We had a wonderful time on our vacation! We spent a day at the beach which was close by. The rental had everything we needed. We were able to borrow an ice chest, Beach chairs, boogie boards and umbrellas. Legoland is close by, and we went there one of the days. It was so fun to come home from Legoland and swim, and enjoy a beautiful sunset. The home was so comfortable and beautiful. I opened up all the windows and enjoy the Cool Breeze, even in the middle of July. Julie was so sweet, a perfect host, easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions. It was a perfect family vacation! I highly recommend Julie's place.

Jules was a FABULOUS HOST! Extremely flexible & accommodating with changes in who was staying in her lovely & well appointed VRBO house for our Grandson's High School Graduation in Carlsbad. All were extremely comfortable & pleased with all of the indoor, as described, accommodations & numerous outdoor activities. Highly recommend "Spinnaker Hill" & look forward to staying there for another "FAMILY VISIT" to Carlsbad family just 4 minutes from their house!

This location came with everything you need to vacation at San Diego beaches such as towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, coolers, etc. It also has all you need to just stay at the location. Wonderful place.

We loved this property so much! It was in a great location and had a beautiful ocean view. There was so much to do around the house and in the backyard. Julie was very easy to get in touch with and helpful. Great for families! It was really close to Lego land and not too far from San Diego. We definitely would come back.

This rental was absolutely perfect and so was communication with the owner. The interior of the house was very clean and comfortable. Like all the other reviews have said, the backyard is really the star of the show. The pool, hot tub, volleyball net and multiple sitting areas were a total dream. We are already planning our next trip down!

Julie’s home was wonderful. She had everything you can think of at the house, and the sprawling backyard oasis was our family’s favorite. Julie was a great communicator, everything was clean and orderly, and the home’s location was ideal…easy to get to the beach, downtown San Diego, Legoland, etc. If/when we come back to the area, we are staying here!

Wonderful home, with an outdoor area like a mini resort—you couldn’t want for more in this beautifully appointed, comfortable home, but it’s the outdoor area that is truly amazing. A wrap-around area, so you can follow (or avoid) the sun, or catch a better breeze, just by moving around the large area. Pool and hot tub deck has enough comfortable loungers, hammock, and complete dining table and chairs. Then it wraps around to a putting green, with a view of the Pacific, and a large turf area with a game net. (no bugs, no lawn care here). This goes on to a large gas fire pit with comfy rockers, and wonderful outdoor kitchen with seating for 7, plus a 2nd complete dining table and chair set. The yard then curves around the home again with more chairs, loungers, and a 3rd dining area—for a sunny area with nice windbreak if needed. There is an upper deck reached by outside stairs, completely furnished with chairs and tables, for sunset/ocean viewing.
Inside was well equipped and decorated, open concept with lots of room and very comfortable beds, seating, etc. And the area is pure So-Cal beautiful, with so many places of interest and great restaurants. Julie was a dream to work with, very communicative and so helpful—very much a 5 star experience overall.

We loved our stay here! We had plenty of space to spread out but also spent time as a family. It rained most of our stay but that didn’t stop us from enjoying the gorgeous backyard. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of extra blankets and towels. Even the window coverings were ideal, which anyone with small children knows is crucial. The location was exactly what we needed, close to everything including grocery stores and Starbucks. We will definitely be back again!

The house is beautiful, spacious and the yard is a 10/10. The kids had a great time playing badminton, swimming and running around. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. It was a short drive to the beach and close to the I-5. The house really has every comfort of home and then some. Would highly recommend and would stay again. Thanks Julie!

Really enjoyed the house with my family. House was as described and even better in person. The location for us was perfect. Part way between Disney and San Diego couldn’t have asked for a better location. Our son really enjoyed the house as well as there was plenty to do. The house does not have air conditioning, so I was a bit worried since several of us "run hot", but each room had a ceiling fan, and the cool night breeze allowed the house to cool down nicely. We also found a portable fan in the garage to use.
Julie has been my favorite VRBO host to date! She was very friendly and very responsive to my questions/texts.

Very nice house and quiet neighborhood. The house doesn’t have air but the owner left fans that truly helped a ton. I love the open floor plan and pool was always cool and helped during the heat wave. The house is well stocked with everything you need.

I cannot begin to tell you how amazing this property is!!!! Literally everything is perfect! S0 well supplied with everything you could need in the kitchen, bathrooms, laundry and at the beach. Our family ranges in age from 5 to 73 years old and we all had a fabulous time. The backyard is an oasis with the pool and jacuzzi, putting green, badminton/ volleyball net, and upper deck with view of the ocean. The outdoor shower with hot & cold water is a godsend after busy days at the beach. Ten days was not enough and it was difficult to head home to Tucson with temps in the 100's. I hope we will be able to come back again to this paradise!!! Thank you, Julie, for being such an excellent hostess!!!

The beds were super comfortable, the house décor was fresh and beachy, the furniture was well taken care of and inviting and most importantly the hostess was super accommodating and good at communicating.
