NORTHERN LIGHTS! Stately 5 bedroom beach house on Lake Superior.
Großes Wohnzimmer mit einem schönen Gaskamin, einem 50-Zoll-Flachbild-TV und mehreren Sofas, Stühlen und Tischen. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll mit einer Mischung aus brandneuen Möbeln sowie historischen Antiquitäten und Erinnerungsstücken eingerichtet. Die Küche besteht aus Edelstahlgeräten einschließlich Geschirrspüler und Wein / Getränke-Kühler. Riesiges Schlafzimmer mit Kingsize-Bett mit eigenem Bad auf der Hauptebene sowie 1 Schlafzimmer mit einem Queen-Bett und 1 Schlafzimmer mit einem TWIN. Das Hauptbadezimmer befindet sich ebenfalls im Erdgeschoss. Im Obergeschoss befindet sich ein Schlafzimmer mit einem Queen-Bett und das andere Schlafzimmer hat 2 Betten. Obere Ebene ist original Vogelaugenahorn-Parkett und untere Ebene ist ein dunkles Hickory-Mehrschichtholz überall. Große Terrasse und Terrasse zum Entspannen oder unterhaltsam, hat einen großen Gas / Holzkohlegrill. Der Strand ist nur wenige Schritte entfernt mit vielen Liegen und Sonnenschirmen.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this particular property. Love the updates and the fire table on the deck! It’s a beautiful spot and location for all the things we wanted to do in the Keweenaw!

Our multi generation family and dog enjoyed this property for a fall getaway. We didn’t need to contact host for anything. A nice attention to detail was the bag of local coffee shop coffee supplied.

I rented this property for a weeklong family vacation with my adult children and their spouses (total of 7 people). It's a very nice location, at the end of a dead-end road, right on Lake Superior. It's very quiet and isolated.
The property listing stated it had both a hot tub and a sauna. When we arrived, I texted the owner to ask where the hot tub was. He replied that there was no hot tub. When I sent him a screenshot of the listing indicating a hot tub, he said that was a VRBO error. I then asked about the sauna. He replied the sauna was not working. I said I was kind of disappointed. His reply was that he wanted to end the rental and that we should leave the property. (Where did he think we were going to go?). I told him that was not going to happen, and I would deal with VRBO.
Bottom line: The property is nice, but does not have all the amenities advertised. The owner is very difficult to deal with, and will only communicate via text.
